I bought the exact same unit, although I did upgrade the fuel line system. I however had a massive fail when filling the fuel tank, I didn't pay attention closely enough when adding diesel and it spilled out everywhere. The unit sits inside a wooden box I made and so the diesel saturated into the wood. I had to completely strip down the unit and wash everything. Took me about an hour. I now wrap an old tea towel around the neck of the tank just in case. The clock on mine gains 5 minutes per day and doesn't seem to have as many features compared to other video's I've seen. Great review.

what did you upgrade on the fuel system? just the line itself or the pump to a quieter one ? I gifted this to a mate for use in his roof top tent. we went camping when I gave it to him and with a few tweaks due to location for the noise ticking issue, he loves it. I should have kept it for a few more nights before handing it over as it got down to freezing while we were away and he had the bloody heater. I dont use the clock feature on them but good to know. I would have liked the version with the bluetooth app too. oh and how does your remote control go for distance. this one was rubbish

Thanks for another excellent review Brett. Would recommend purchase of a carbon monoxide alarm ( around $30 from Bunnings) just in case.

hmmm.... not sure why RUclips didn't send me a notification for this video! Anyway, I feel your pain, I gave away a Bluetti EB70 today to a mate to run a Starlink dish on his upcoming Flinders Ranges trip. Great video, I need to look at something similar for the OzTent.

cheers, I don't know why they (not limited to bluetti) seem hell bent in crippling these units on the dc side of things. With it being the more efficient access to the supply, it just doesnt make sense. a mate just got a companion rover 100. basically a 100ah lithium solar generator but with no ac inverter. I thought, now we're talking. this could be a genuine option vs a permanent install , alas all ports are limited to 10A including the 2 anderson 50A plugs on the side. 20V10A limit on the solar controller and a AC power pack to charge that puts out 6.5A . just sooooo frustrating.

@@DENMONKEY we have a Jayco Penguin and given we will only need a heater for a couple of months a year I can hook this unit up under the camper when needed

Use a 25mm copper 90 deg bend from bunnings cut some slots and clamp it keeps exhaust closer so no need for extending the legs
