Wrapping a delightfully ‘90s combination of Emerald Green and Pewter 2-stage around clean Gray cloth, this highly-optioned Z71 is a fantastic example of what some enthusiasts consider the last generation of the traditional pickup. Forgoing the style and luxury that, increasingly, has dominated truck design for the last two decades, this 3-door K1500 sports a quintessentially boxy profile. Those blue collar lines are augmented with a Lund visor, power mirrors, a tight tonneau, a sliding rear window and a sturdy, frame-mounted hitch. And fit and finish is exactly what you would expect from a one-owner time capsule. Power comes courtesy of a familiar Vortec 5700 V8 that, like the rest of the truck, has only spun 39,025 miles. That engine is backed by a smooth 4L60E 4-speed, which makes excellent use of an optional heavy duty cooling system. That transmission deals power to a factory locking differential that’s stuffed with friendly, 3.42 gears. Naturally, there’s an independent front and solid axle rear suspension that, as equipped with the top option Z71 Off-Road Equipment Package, supplements an Insta-Trac transfer case with metal skid plates and improved shocks. Speed-sensitive power steering leads ABS-aided power front disc and rear drum brakes. And in front of those brakes, attractive alloys spin a quartet of 265/75R16 Michelin Defender LTXs. Between the doors, Gray custom cloth dresses high-back buckets that are centered in a spacious, extended cab cockpit. Those seats, which feature 6-way power adjustment for the truck’s driver, face a monochromatic dash that’s centered on factory air conditioning and optional audio. That's what GM called their upgraded cloth back in the day, believe it or not! Now they don't bother with that name anymore due to confusion with people thinking it was actually custom. :p

Yes and those seats look super plush and comfortable, a far cry from today's park bench-like seats in most cars nowadays. Beautiful truck, and the best color combo.
