I started my acrylic nail journey with this method and when I tell you that they last......THEY LAST! My nails stayed on for three and a half weeks and even then I still had to pry them off... It Works Ladies

@@Jessica-nr7ii Also during application use sally hansen problem cuticle remover on the entire nail scraping the cuticle but also down into the sides. After you wash your hands dry them buff with a 180 grit emery board just to remove the shine. Use a dry nail brush and remove dust. Wipe nails down with a swissper and 100% acetone. Use a primer, I used Red Carpet Manicure, 2 coats then let dry til nails are chalky I STRESS DO NOT TOUCH THEM! then follow the directions in the kit. Start a little further away from the cuticle getting closer with each layer of gel (glue) and powder remember go over each nail removing excess powder with the manicure stick before the next glue step.

I've uses this doing nail product and i must say I was impressed, it does make quite a mess though so I always use parchment paper underneath to collect leftover fallout, works great!

Ahhh I bought this for $8 at Dollar general and it didn't come with the dipping container (which isn't a problem), no instructions ( also not a problem) only French tips (also also no problem), but no actual nail glue. I was so disappointed because I didn't own a nail glue. Ive seen your video long ago , I didn't know you can use that brush on gel as glue. Couldve flexed my nails for Christmas 😭💕💕 thank you for this video
Same girl I bought the dip kit and I bought the acrylic kit and the brush on gel from the dollar general and every single one of these is missing half of it
But thankfully I do have my own nail glue but there’s no natural colors in any of these

I like how the dip powder made the nails come out smooth. It's much easier than applying acrylic with a brush, and, it seems quicker too.
Honestly investing in the materials to do acrylics at home is worth it. For less than the cost of two sets of acrylics you can buy a decent drill and all the supplies. I did this and got better and better by watching tutorials and practicing. So much better than ever paying someone to do my nails!

That’s true. Even though during lazy times I’d do a simple manicure at the salon. I can honestly say the previous years when I used to walk out paying $350+ after paying for a full set of long stiletto nails and getting my toes done for my daughter and I. I called it quits. I had to start learning how to do my own because all that money was wasted after taking them off a week later. Just paying for the cost of the supplies and watching a few videos can have you on your way and it’s not hard at all.

Quick tip: when I just have to use regular nail polish but impatient about the drying time, I use make up sponges to apply it because it DRIES so much faster. You literally don't have to wait before applying a GEL TOP COAT. I do this method almost ALWAYS when I'm insistent on using regular polish. By the time I finish sponging the regular nail polish onto the nails I want the polish on, they dry so quickly that I can literally rub them against ANYTHING and they're already dry within seconds. This way, when I apply the gel top coat, it won't bubble up and destroy the regular polish that was applied with the sponge. You're good to go after that..... REAL TALK.

I have a product by sensational nail that turns regular nail polish into gel polish. You can mix the two together or you can use it as a top coat. I like the mixing better. And it works the same as when using gel polish when you have to cure it under the LED light.

Edit: I can see perhaps the white look underneath might be problematic. Getting stained by cigarettes or just never looking clean no matter how clean they really are once getting worn in.

I’ve been getting them for a while. If your nails grow fast and you work heavily with your hands, they last at least two weeks.
