I totally agree that smurfing is a massive problem that damages the experience of new players getting into the game. I just find it pathetic when players that are horribly guilty of this shit (bronze 2 masters etc) complain about it.
Play with 1 account per region, THEN complain about smurfs.

Yep. All of artosis losses can be summed up: didn't scout.
A. Didn't scout a base right next to him.
B. Didn't prepare for cheese
C. Didn't prepare for enemy macro

there is just so much wrong with how arty plays. he doesnt adapt mid-game, even when what hes doing isnt working. i really dont think he understand that the science vessel EMP removes protoss shields...if he did, it would make his encounters with protoss much easier. a well placed EMP is 1000x better than shielding a tank. instead he stacks vultures+mines against goons and observers??? does not compute. also, watch his resources and/or right clicks. when he tells an SCV to build something and it doesnt build, its because half the time he uses the resources while the SCV is en route, or he right-clicks AFTER he tells the SCV to build, causing the build to cancel and the SCV to just move to the spot and sit. if only he could understand that 90% of his problems are him. instead, he just screams "all in cheesing, cheesing all in!!!!!!!!!!". this is why i watch jaedong for serious games. arty is still very entertaining, i admit it.
So, did he switch to Broodwar from SC2 because it's less frustrating?
he never liked sc2 enough to get this ass blasted about it. he switched from zerg to protoss to stay at a high level and have credibility as a caster, and hes said so himself. seeing him trying to get gm in sc2 with bio terran would be hilarious though.

sc2 is just ultra boring to play and to watch. His iq is a little too high for sc2.

All map makers are pro terran/protoss how else would you explain mineral patches with that "special" place to put your zealots and fuk zerlings or just use a medic to block an Ultra! from killing your marines... the same with all the ramps.

Im thinking, maybe you aree supposed to have a few ghosts in your base defense to lockdown the arbiters before they recall or the shuttle drops. I know its proppably a lot of money early on but by the end game when they get arbiters you should have a few ghosts.
