There was this guy I "dated" about ten years ago and back then he didn't want an official relationship. I have to disagree with you Eliot. I know that there are jerks that look to get laid, but my friend got married because she ignored that same advice. She wrote a guy on OKC and they wrote a little bit and he didn't respond so she kind of gave up on him. After a few months she decides to delete her account because apparently she forgot. then she sees he responded her just days before, saying he is sorry it took him so long and he hopes she is still available. He proposed a year later. It's all about context + Actions.

He was awkward that whole time text me and called me 6 months after then disappeared. It’s not worth it and I fucked up a good friendship. But one of you should've brought up the feelings talk at some point though being friends for 6 yrs is a long time. I have to disagree with you Eliot. I know that there are jerks that look to get laid, but my friend got married because she ignored that same advice. She wrote a guy on OKC and they wrote a little bit and he didn't respond so she kind of gave up on him. After a few months she decides to delete her account because apparently she forgot. then she sees he responded her just days before, saying he is sorry it took him so long and he hopes she is still available. He proposed a year later. It's all about context + Actions.
