Have had an 80watt CO2 laser for about a year. Really stepped up my game as a woodworker since I can make my own templates with it. And then i started adding etching and using it for inlay work. Love it.
After engraving cement, wood, or other materials, don't move your project. Add powder used for powder coating and use the laser to sinter the powder coating inside the engraving. This is an awesome way to add multiple colors to your project. Then when you are done sintering, pick up your project and brush off the extra powder. Great to see it has air assist. Air assist more importantly helps keep your lens clear of soot. Also, it's great to see you use and mention eye protection.
I purchased a Mecpow X5 after watching this video. Watching all your videos and the cool things your making with them I finally decided to buy one. The promo code helped the price also. Thank you for that. I'll have to engrave a vault boy like the one you did for my son. He's a huge Fall Out fan.
Super glad you put this video out. I’ve been looking at laser cutters for my leatherwork. I’d love to know your thoughts on how this machine would cut and engrave leather.
Do you know of a reason why my x5 won't cut through 5mm plywood? I even lowered the Z to less than the arm set was. Yes, I lifted it back up before playing. My settings are 400mm at 100%. 3 passes don't make it through 5mm plywood.
Thanks for making me regret getting the xtool M1🤣.... I'll just make this one the next laser on my list. I do need something that is way faster than what I have.
Looking to buy my 1st laser- 100% a noob. This X5 vs the XTool S1 10 W...Which would you suggest for a new laser user? I realize that the prices are not the same, but both prices would fall into my budget. I'm looking for ease of use as I literally know nothing other than how to spell the word 'lase' LOL.
Thanks Mike. Always appreciate your videos. Only request is make a little slower to show step by step or at least the important ones. I feel sometimes it is missed. And finally, maybe a "can it etched?" Series of videos.

Might pull the trigger after watching the video! Is there reliable free software out there to make the machine run? Thanks!

Thank you so much for all of your content over the years. Absolutely inspirational and astounding.
Thanks, just bought the 22W laser. Learning curve ahead!

Nice machine, thanks for reviewing it for us
Just bought one now just have to wait for it to arrive 😂.
What was your speed and power setting when you cut the 1/2" plywood in one pass?
Your awesome dude!!
Gotta talk the wife into this very cool tool!!
Do they have an attachment or a unit that will roll a water bottle for etching?
Your fantastic.

Hi, what dimensions is the plate that you can place in the laser box? Is it also 60x60 cm? Or do you need a smaller plate? Thank you.
Does the laser come with software? I didn't hear you mention it at all what program you used.

This vs sculpfun s30 ultra?
Hi, I literally just watched your video, went to website to order....But the code didn't work? Does it have a limited time for the code?
Nice!
Guitar base would look good with some candy on it?
Michael, what software do you use? LightBurn? Other G-Code software?
Too bad not available in Canada
How is it for startup, cuz I'm not very good with a computer, just wondering if it's dummy easy to set up and run?
Heeeeyyyy! Michael! ❤😁
Male a sign that says, "Michael's builds are the *ucking Shi*." Ducking Ship. 😂
You should make a Bass out of concrete. :D
With rebar! :D

I don't like the strong cheap OEM smell of mecpow.
