    Bought this, I've got an xtool 10w and their infrared head and a 40w CO2 laser.
    Xtool has had the best customer service by far. My omtech has gone through 2 water pumps but it engraves and cuts as expected.
    The laser pecker 2 is easiest to use with the mobile ap, being able to connect to Bluetooth. They also sell a carry case and a battery unit. I started taking out to vendor fairs to do on-site engraving it paid for itself in a day.

    LaserPecker now has the LaserPecker 4 which is a combination diode laser like the LP2 and a fiber laser like the LP3 so it is two lasers in one. Plus it has twice the power of the LP2 and LP3. You can also get a battery for it so you can take it ANYWHERE. The improved firmware allows to to double the speed as well. So much fun.

      You are looking at it wrong. You don't pay for the laser, your customers do. At least that's what I was told. 😁
      Seriously, if you can envision it and you have confidence in your idea, do it. The pain today will be rewarded tomorrow. I think you could be on to something with the custom headrests for cars. I used to be in the marine industry and the amount of money people will spend customizing their toys 😳 I could see doing boat seats too. With the portability of this thing, it would be a breeze to do it on sight (provided you had power of course). Just make sure you don't burn through.

    • @mrupholsteryman
      @mrupholsteryman Год назад

      @@rogermccaslin5963 that's the biggest problem....confidence in my ideas. It is easy for me to kill an idea and I am my own worst critic. Problem with being a perfectionist and wanting to do unto others as I would want done for me.
      I've been told that if I kill an idea and it keeps coming back...then it is worth pursuing...but there are so many ideas that I keep coming up with...it is hard to know which things come back.... too often lately I am just spending most of my time doing my full time work and cannot put time into many of the unfinished projects. And there is the other issue of fighting for keeping a patent in other ideas where I was told I should be on shark tank....and I likened that to raising a child just to hand them over to a pimp after paying for college and investing all my life into making sure the child would be successful...
      My wife somehow saw potential in this vessel.... so I became her "unfinished project" as I'm not where she wants me to be....yet she's not Jesus and I'm still walking on Sanctification Rd..... and so as I know from prior times where I have gotten confused the difference between the Creator and creation...and got locked up for my poor choices and have a felony conviction that travels with me on every application... I know that my eternal record of "background checks" was washed clean as Jesus is my Lord and Savior now.... I will no longer be clean in man's eyes...and trust is a hard thing to earn....and blah blah blah....
      I was thinking that IF I ever got fired for offending someone with the Gospel at work...or even offending someone that I "misgendered"... I would have plenty of time to pursue some of the ideas with a more concern about maybe for such a time as this.....
      But yeah... I get what you're saying cuz all the technology and services that the health care industry has....those costs are often billed out to those that reap the benefits of said help....
      Thanks for the response though.... I tend to be more of an idea guy with less time to actually put the full efforts into stuff that will go the way of the thief, moth, and flame....The only things that last forever are the ones that Jesus gave life to in exchange for their trust in Him being the necessary sacrifice for the sins that we are all guilty of....
      All the rest of life seems to be a big distraction and a blurring of truth....
