Awesome video as always. Did you noticed some upgrades perhaps the wheigth? more fly time or something noticeable?
Thanks! Yes you get more flight time, the quad feels more nimble and powerful, and you have a bit more building options if you want to say under 250g (I was able to use this to build a 249g 3.5 inch with a 6s battery. Have a video on this).

Great video! Is the air unit total height reduced? I’m having trouble fiting an O3 into a QAV Pro Micro, it’s hitting my AIO bolts
It is reduced slightly. I measured it for another viewer a while ago so I found those measurements after the mod: "You're looking at 13.8mm in height."
Hello, i am disassembled air unit without remove glue conector before, i don t knew proccess, i just remove conector like that but when i assembled with naked flywoo kit i loose quality video on google. Do you think i have made some damage on the connector ? Sometime when i remove o3 cable conector znd replace i have black screen with osd, so i disassembled cable to replace it and it work but with poor quality video. I try to wash conector and warm glue to fix it but with same result. Thank you
The connector should have been very hard to remove if you didn't remove the glue first. Look closely at the connector to see if any part of it got damaged. Also make sure it locks correctly, you should feel a little click when you reinstall the connector.
@@Mangorille thank you for your reply, i forgot to Say that i have buy a new câble but with same result. I don t feel click when i reinstall the connector and it s thé same for the caméra connector i don t feel click.

What do you think for conformal coating
I would like to waterproof my 03
I've done conformal coating on a flight stack before. I found it makes it more water resistant than water proof and I did burn one out flying in snow during the winter even though it was coated.
Trying hard to figure out a 8S 3.5" because why not.. still 25g over even after this. So close.

I think the tpu is a better option for this mod what do think mangorille?
Both work fine. I like the ABS option a bit more because it weights less and the screws hold better.
@@Mangorille I just tried the ABS option and went a flew a all day at the end of the day i noticed a bad smell coming from the 03 air unit and behold the abs had melted to the middle and bottom pieces melted to the rf shield thank god i left the rf shield on, this did not happen with tpu weird.
@@Viseo3dp Did you use pure ABS filament or some sort of hybrid? Usually you print ABS at something like 260 degrees C and I doubt your air unit would have gotten that hot.
Okay, but that about heat dissipation? Original case has metal parts and they participate in heat dissipation.

0.4g savings is not enough to worry about ... not even half a gram. You might have been able to save that with the TPU by choosing less infill.
Agree, I was hoping for more. It is still about 14 percent lighter for the printed case itself and you can probably push it a bit more like you said through print settings but not a big difference in the grand scheme of things.
@@Mangorille Hey, I thought you did great getting the 03 down to so little weight, especially for all the power the 03 delivers!!! So, I'm sure you said it, but remind me please, what's the total weight of the naked 03 as you have it, without the case and with the TPU case? Thanks.

Board 1 + Ribbon Cable: 6.35g
Board 2: 4.3g
SD Card Slot + Ribbon Cable: 1.2g
Total: 11.85g
Sir there print is also support sdcard ?
Yes the print file from Quadmula supports the sd card slot.
@@Mangorille thank you , what about hit problem, I see if I unarmed my quad more then 20/30s then it's show me over heating this is original O3 no any decase or rapping tap or anything
