thanks guys I fitted one to my territory on the weekend and thanks to this video got it installed and working within an hour
now all I goto do is work out the color of the unit so I can color match the rest of the plastics above it

Nice and informative vid guys! Seems to be the way I will end up going if I don't like my iPad dash mod when I get around to finishing it. Shame it's an android unit. I have been toying around with trying to fit an apple car play unit with low mounting depth and relocating the factory screen. Think I can make it fit just not sure if I can make it look good
Yeah I would like an iPad version but I think the Android are more open source software for the HVAC usage etc.

FYI, the resistor you cut is next to a transistor, not a capacitor. 8>)
What’s the module you’re removing at 12.45? I think that’s faulty on my BA Falcon. If I punch the dash where that’s located the radio and other stuff works properly again. I’m just not sure what the part number is to order a new one. Thanks. Great video by the way!
curious to know how the climate control displays on the screen.....what wires ( from BCM to head unit) are responsible?

Nice unit. Safety warning ..chock the wheels or make sure the ground is flat and even...as you have to disengage from park and release the hand brake.

You mention it replaces the factory climate control. But my BA doesn't have climate control, it just has aircon. So how will that work? Will this unit change my aircon to climate control?
Youll have to tether your mobile for the GPS to work to include the data component I would assume ?
Being an android system you can download onto the unit all sorts of free GPS nav systems or even pay for a better quality one to download direct to the uni.

No sorry, but you would need to why not just use bluetooth from the phone? or transfer music files onto the unit or usb?

No it doesn't but the mic on the front is very good never had anyone complain about it :D
Thanks. I have one, but am consistently getting told it keeps cutting out with my iPhone 5. This only happens when using the bluetooth handsfree. Most callers report this and it is bad enough that I try to avoid calls on it - which is a problem when paying $1400 and this is one of the key features. (Not installed by you guys, but thought possibly an external Mic may help as these types of units report known poor quality call issues on all the forums)

There is now a solution to make the reveres sensors work just requires a few more wiring connections.

No issues we have been testing the unit in our car for weeks now the AC is fine. We have one in store if you want to check it out.
