Is this the version 5 unit? Cause i literally just got my v5 a few weeks ago which was apparently just released and its interface is totally different to this.....It looks more like the V4 interface but all the wireless android auto/car play stuff came built in

No it doesn't have a Google Play app. We have another headunit which has that capability

The more expensive option has more RAM, storage, and a faster processor. Another difference is that the $1495 model comes with inbuilt maps, whereas the $895 model allows you to access maps through CarPlay. Additionally, the cheaper model does not support downloading any apps

Hi, I have a Kayhan system in my BF Falcon, I need to programme a new remote for the car which involves activating the rear demister button three tines within 5 seconds of turning the ignition key to its first position. Unfortunately it takes about 30 seconds to get to the demister function after turning the key to its first position, any suggestions on how to work around this?
1. Sit in the car
2. Turn the car on
3. Take the unit on AC climate control page and get the rear demister button ready.
4. Turn the car keys off and immediately turn them on so the unit stays on at the demister page.
Then click the rear demister button within few seconds and follow the above instructions
5. In less than 3 seconds of turning the key, press the rear demist button 3 times
6. If done correctly, the door locks will cycle. If the door locks do not cycle, start the process again and try completing the steps faster or slower.
7. Once in learn mode all existing remotes will be deleted from the car’s memory. Click any button on the remote until you hear the door locks cycle. Once the locks cycle this confirms the remote has been accepted into the car’s memory.
8. Repeat the last step for each remote (if you can have more than one)
9. Remove the key and step out of the car and test each button on the remote is performing it’s proper function.
