Bought this to put Bluetooth in my first Ute, an absolutely amazing product, fitted perfectly and was a breeze to put in.
10/10 service and product
Thanks Jordan for your review much appreciated 🙏
And the sub tigger is for the amp to turn it on with reds?
Thanks, great video and looking forward to more. Subscribed
Could you consider posting replacing a broken heater rod on ba bf falcons in the future. Its a common problem as the falcons age
Awesome stuff Mav
Thanks I appreciate it
This is really helpful, thanks for the step by step instructions.
Just to be clear, we are not replacing the factory CD /radio. We are replacing the little shelf with a second head unit, in my case a cassette player ( I have a few hundred live cassettes to sort out and might as well use driving time to decide which are worth keeping.)
That's correct
Thanks heaps mavs made it too easy 🤙
Glad I can help cheers Jack
I just bought the aeropro fp9042m and it doesn’t come with the ciggy socket holder, where would I buy it? Cheers
Hey, is there a way to retain am/fm radio on the original stereo whilst putting am/fm function on the aftermarket stereo too?
If you can acquire a antenna splitter then you can plug it into both headunit

I’ll be able to still use my Bluetooth once I hook this up eh? Or do I need something else for that
thanks dude works great , added alpine 600 rms amp and 12 inch kicker l7 sub , 10/10 on loom quality

Hey I'm doing this install at the moment but with the dual usb, which wire on the cars wiring for cig socket does the usb attach to, blue with white trace or the black?
Hi can you please email the picture of the T plug on the back of the cigarette socket to sales@mavs.com.au
does it matter how big the head unit is do you have to measure it before you by one are they all the same size
They are 99% of the time all the same size except those no name ebay headunits then you have to modify the opening to make it fit
Hey @mavs what's the connector that goes off your harness to the head unit iso harness is it a generic plug or a special ford one??
Just grab what ever head unit iso harness etc. Sony they all fit factory harnesses
hiya would your wiring loom be compatible with this single din stereo KENWOOD KMM-BT306?....also based in NZ for an 09 ford Territory SYll
Hi yes it can be as it's made to a ISO plug and yes it would be compatible with 09 SYII
Bought this product last week and it made installing my new headunit a breeze 10/10.
Awesome thanks I hope you like it, and If you can please leave me a review on my website , that would be greatly appreciated 😊

Just a quick question if you put those rca cables in do the front speakers only work or do the back ones work to
They all work both fronts and rears.
Hey I know its abit late but I've struggled finding the correct other harness not included on your website. I've got a jack unit does that cause complications
Hi can you send me a detailed description for what you're after to my email please sales@mavs.com.au
Does the aftermarket stereo improve the sound quality with stock speakers??
Looking to do up my BA falcon like this
After market head unit has more tuning capabilities than the factory headunit
I have the same model of ford falcon, one the door speakers has gone due to short circuit, would you please help me to fix. I am using external Bluetooth for music.
Cross the wires on the other speakers
Hi there very good detailed vid. I haven't yet looked at my Territory, but I was curious that the plugs behind the fuse box ju st appeared ready to go like magic. Was the OEM unit plugged into these (i never saw you remove any OEM plugs) or are they just there waiting to be used for an aftermarket unit??
Hi yes the plug behind the fuse box is there considering that you have the model listed in the descriptions, and it be a easy job when using the harness
@@mavsonlinewhere do I get the harness from
mavs.com.au/product/ford-ba-bf-territory-kit/
Hey mavs.
Im having trouble passing the cable around the back and through, the way you have in the video. I have an '03 BA XR6 Turbo and it doesn't seem to have the holes which you refer to. Have you had any experience with xr6 turbos? Do they have a different side wall? I've even taken the ICC out and can't see where you've passed it through in the video. Cheers!!!!
Never mind, removed the ICC and found a way to feed it around!!
Ok sorry I just seen it now
Do you have to cut the speaker wires and attach to the wiring harness. Will this give me sounds as ive done this and have power but no sound
Hi Alex you don't need to cut anything it's just plug and play kit
Hey mate just wondering where you got the wiring loom that connects underneath the dash near the fuse to the head unit?
mavs.com.au/product/ford-ba-bf-territory-kit/
So if I get that loom plug it all up would my head unit have power and everything working ?
Would the harness work on any headunit or is it specific ? If so which ones does it fit ?
The harness is to a ISO plug so any headunit can be installed as long as it can support a iso plug for it
Hey mate not sure if you mentioned it in the vid but do the steering controls (volume) still work with this?
nevermind just watched u control it with the steering wheel. cheers for the vid, will be doing this in my ba fairmont
Hey mate did it work for you?
Those 2 plugs behind the fuse box, are they already plugged into something or just hanging there
Hanging
Great video mate, I went onto your store to look at the product and was just wondering if any single din head unit would fit with your product?
Hi yes that exactly what it would fit, if you need any help please let me know.
Do you know if this runs through the head unit it would be great I have speakers that only play music from the head unit and trying to get them to play Bluetooth and won't thru the aux cables
This harness let's you install a aftermarket head unit into your factory ICC and plays audio through it.
hey mate, do you know if there is any way to get full steering wheel control over the new aftermarket head unit?
the single din I am installing is SWC ready but I'm not sure if the SWC wires are resistive or data through the BCM
Hi there is a way but you have to use aerpro axswc harness is a universal steering wheel controls unit
Thanks for the vid I will be purchasing one for my sons BA 2005 XR6 I've checked and the plugs are there under the fuse box. just one question can i keep the antenna cable in the factory icc unit for radio and just use the aftermarket head unit for spotify / phone bluetooth?
Hi yes you can if you want the factory radio and use the aftermarket headunit for Bluetooth and usb

Awesome I post it out as soon as payment is cleared.
Hi this is really cool. Does this mean that the CD player only supplies the line out signal to the factory units built in amplifier? So the head units amp isn't really used? Thanks for the helpful video. Definitely going to buy one
Yes that's correct
Would that be why it seems so quiet at full volume?
Would that be why it seems so quiet at full volume?
Mate also was just wondering whether you could help me with what iso harness I will need as am planning on purchasing a “pioneer mvh-S215BT single din head unit”

Hey mate was just wondering whether this kit would work for an 03 ba ford falcon as when I try press my AM button, the AUX option does not appear, or does there need to be something plugged into the aux port under fuse box for this setting to appear ?

When you press some of the buttons does your ICC unit respond to the buttons you pressed?
Is it possible to put a double DIN in there? Remove the ciggy socket and have it hang down?
Yes it can be done
@@mavsonline Sweet, I’ve just purchased the same facia kit from eBay. I’ll be installing a Sony Xav-ax500 when it arrives
Good stuff hope this video helps you
Hello great video and idea. I was just wondering that since the new unit is running through the current system. Does that mean that the amount of power produced towards the speakers will be lost? therefore loosing some audio quality?? Still a lot cheaper then an auto elec.
It's powering through the original ICC unit so it will only be as loud as the ICC allows it to go.
@@mavsonline So will the audio quality be better if it was hard wired given the amps on the new unit is better then the stock unit?
It would be louder as for better it's up to the aftermarket headunit tuning capabilities.
@@mavsonline Awesome. Thanks for the help.

Hi Mavs,
I have a BF Mk11 Falcon Ute & I want to hook up an old ipad or tablet directly into the existing radio.
I also want to get Bluetooth along with Apple CarPlay, is it all possible.
Hi Alan both are possible but why don't you just look into getting a carplay unit into the BF they have bluetooth in those unit anyways, but in answering your question yes it is possible depending on your budget.
What sort of money will it cost and can I install myself
A reputable carplay unit will set you back about $500 and then my harness and facia kit is about $130 and a iso is about $20 and if your handy with on the tools then you can install it yourself or take it to a car audio installer
Hey mate all is good besides the right hand side of speakers is gone when using the head unit but once I switch to the icc unit it's fine . Any tips
@mavsonline
Hi Please email a picture of the RCA the back of the headunit thanks
Sales@mavs.com.au
I found cutting some of the mounting brackets off helped the unit to.sit flush in position easier and your idea of the wire grab tool had you grabbed the loom at the end and used some tape the whole loom would of pulled through a lot easier another tool is a piece of yellow tongue flooring platic joiner strip would work for drawing the loom through or a piece of wire coat hanger you can tape the loom on one last thing dont think i would of used a cordless drill during assembly anyway we all have different ideas
Yes you are correct in the cutting of the mounting Brackets off the end of it about 1 inch is good I normally do that in my everyday work but for this video with unedited, and the yellow tongue or coat hangers would work a treat too, but having to do this day in day out for awhile now the tool can be purchased at bunnings for like $20 I find it speed up my time alot as In a business time is money and this tool is very handy for alot of different situations l.
Does your Ford BA BF Territory Harness include the ISO Harness that plugs to the head unit?
No sorry that is available at autobahn, supercheap auto and repco
@@mavsonline Thanx for your reply. Where does the red connector on the ISO harness connect to?
That's for if you want to run a amplifier for a subwoofer the red terminal is the remote trigger for the amplifier
Is there a place to physically go get the cables? I'm too impatient for shipping etc
Hi I'm in Melbourne western suburbs but wouldn't be back until Monday
Does this work even if the ICC unit never played sound ? But all other functions work
@DanielHennessy-b3i it utilised your ICC unit and its output so if your ICC is not working then this wouldn't fix the issue
Where can i buy one of those harness and will plug and play in ae 2005 ford ba falcon
Can ae aftermarket amp an sub be hooked up as well
mavs.com.au/product/ford-ba-bf-territory-kit
Yes you can add a amplifier to run a subwoofer too if you want
With the trigger for the subwoofer I’m a bit confused on what it is I’m wanting to set up sub and amp and now after watching the video and the harness having a subwoofer trigger I would like to know what it is and how to use thank you
As for setting up a amp for a subwoofer, the blue trigger wire is the remote trigger wire, the amp also needs a ground wire Md a power wire from the battery and rca from the headunit for audio signal than last the output from the amp to the subwoofer.
Hope this helps
@@mavsonline so the blue wire/remote wire goes into the red thing on the harness
Yes that's is the remote trigger that once plugged into the iso harness it becomes the output
@@mavsonline thank you so much
Hey mate I have brought your wire it’s in shipping atm but needed to ask can I still hook up my subs? Dose it have a remote wire on it or something
Hi Steve yes you sure can just use a rca splitter if you only have 1 pair of rca output
I’ll send a msg when I get it thnx still bit confused as I have 3sets of rca but I was meaning the little blue wire that turns the amp on that hooks up to head unit
Whats the cable that plugs into blue plug n back of deck called plz

Ok you would need a FBAFH
Available at mavs.com.au/product/ford-ba-bf-territory-kit/

@@mavsonline lovely, sounds great. cheers for the rapid reply mate, well appreciated.
No worries at all
@@mavsonlinejust another quick question mate. looking to buy the harness now, have my iso harness sorted, why have you left the red connector empty? It not necessary? Putting a AXSWC unit for steering controls with this… will this harness on your website be needed? Or is the swc controller needed to be wired into the harness?
The harness I have will be a direct plug and play with the iso harness, the red terminal is for a remote trigger wire for a amplifier, is you're using a subwoofer.
would this installation process allow the installation of a subwoofer as well?
Hi, yes it will as you would use a rca splitter to split the signals

Will I be able to install sub and amp off single din like usual with out tapping in anywhere eles
Yes you can just use a rca splitter and you will be able to
So another set of rca’s
If your headunit has more than 1 set of rca then get a rca splitter if it has rears and subs separate then you don't need to get a splitter
Sorry I’m confused not real big in audio but where do I plug the splitter cable
I have 6 ports for front rear and sw
Then you don't need the splitter, from the harness goes into the rears and the sw will go to your amplifier
