We need to let go of the negative and give Mr. Krause his full due. He was a master of his position. Without Jerry, we don't draft Pippen. Without Jerry, we don't bring in Rodman. Without Jerry, we don't win 6 championships. Plain and simple.

It is terrible that she had to suffer what should have been HIS humiliation, but even posthumously, he deserved it. He was a terrible person who treated the heroes of the Bulls' 90s teams like shit every step of the way. An absolute cretin. Don't let his widow's suffering hide the fact that he was the worst sort of general manager, someone who treated his players like cattle and accorded them zero respect. The boos were deserved-- just not for her.

Let's get one fact posted for the world to see: Krause DID NOT DRAFT JORDAN!!!! And Krause did not draft Paxson! They were selected by Rod Thorn! Krause was a good GM of the Bulls. BUT, he did a lot of BS to many people: Doug Collins, Phil Jackson, Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Charles Oakley, etc... He did good building a team around Mike. BUT, could not do it again after Mike and company left! Why? Because Krause was not great! Krause was good! Now, let's get another fact posted for the world to see: booing during the ceremony was fouled up, wrong, immature, and stupid! That should have not taken place! Them people in attendance should have been ashamed of themselves! Messed up! They should have applauded Mrs. Krause and honor Jerry's memory for doing a GOOD job! I hope this comment makes sense for everybody. Thank you.

Last dance exposes Krause he is the man and not giving the credit to MJ.
Look what's happening now especially with the case of LeBron. He is flexing the power of superstar players.
MJ didn't do that. MJ just want Krause to stay in his lane and he delivered 5 chips to a garbage franchise before the last dance.
Imagine an internal conflict telling the whole team it won't be the same even if it goes 82-0.
That will take a lot mentally on players not to give a damn yet MJ took that burden personally.
He just took it a challenge to himself. Last dance also when Pippen didn't played like half the season.
MJ loyalty is to his fanbase and not with the Bulls management.

Whether the players and fans liked him or not, Krause was the architect of the dynasty. He was right in that organizations win championships, and didnt allow anyone (including Jordan) to dictate which players to acquire.
-Krause traded Oak for Cartwright, and Jordan was pissed. They ended up winning 3 with Bill.
-Krause was gonna trade Scottie for a 24/25 year old Kemp after the 93-94 season when Scottie led the team in basically all statistics. Sonics owner (not Jordan) nixed the deal.
-Krause traded Perdue for Rodman. 3 seasons later, 3 more championships.
His post-dynasty tenure was forgettable, though. Couldn't lure Tmac, KG, Grant Hill, or any superstar free agents to Chicago. Trading Elton Brand for the 2nd pick in '01 was great on paper. Unfortunately, Chandler and Curry didn't fit long term.
As a Bulls fan, I didn't like how smug he was. But couldn't argue with the results.
