Bald eagles Jackie and Shadow 🦅🦅❤️ What an interesting day! Shadow brings 1 headless FISH but Jackie is not on the nest. He calls but since Jackie is still absent, he starts eating the fish. Suddenly, Jackie arrives and claims the fish. Shadow lets Jackie eat the tasty fish.
In this video, you'll see, for the first time this year, how Shadow spends the night on the nest. Well, at least this is what everyone was thinking at the beginning of the night. However, Jackie surprises Shadow in the middle of the night and comes to change him on the nest. Shadow must have been really shocked to see Jackie coming at this time!🦅🦅🥰

How did I get obsessed with these eagles? I love them and I always wonder what they are talking about. I am so sad about their eggs. They are so dedicated and loving.

Amazing Jackie and Shadow beautiful Eagles. I read an article earlier about how they had to abandoned last year's eggs. Shadow didn't want to give up. It's really heartbreaking how Jackie had to convince Shadow it was time to let go😢

Why is the head always missing or should I say almost always. Does Shadow have a liking for the head and eats it himself before bringing it to Jackie?

All the fish in that lake have no heads😋
See comment above. Fish heads are a real Delicacy for Eagles and Nutritious as well.

The eggs looked bigger
Eagles very frequently eat the Heads of fish they catch in the Lake--first. Most fish are consumed off the Nest. S is the only one bringing one to the Nest--always a Gift Fish for J--which She always thoroughly enjoys and shows by Her very delightful singing as she eats it.
So wish at least one egg would hatch. There crying sounds makes me sad...

@kathrynnard8059- it can be emotional and hard for us humans but I try to look at it as moving forward on her journey! We all love them and just want them to be happy so if instincts and hormones say it’s time to do something else let’s watch and see!! Enjoy and hope I didn’t upset you. When are the puppies born?
@miriaoldra3063- I’m not the expert but it’s my understanding it’s far past their due date so they won’t have babies this year. There’s always next year though!! Have a great evening and enjoy them !! 🦅🦅❤️❤️
