Every time I hear a Harley with a V&H Pro Pipe, it reminds me how much I miss having one on my bike. Great throaty sound without being annoying. I sold it right after I put a Thunderheader on, and how I wish I hadn't, because it would be back on there! Keep it up with the good videos, my man!
I was never a fan of Dynas. I just always prefered the Softails, with their counterbalanced engines, and hidden rear suspension. That said, One can hardly blame Harley for ending the Dyna, honestly. It was basically identical to a Softail in all the important ways. Only the lack of counterbalancing in the engine, and the frame being just a larger Sportster frame, being the key differences. So what's the point in continuing to waste money building 2 different frames for basically no reason? As for why end the Dyna instead of the Softail, Softies have been around longer, and have always been more popular, so that's the ideal choice to keep.
I have a 2008 Low Rider. Love it. Last Harley i will own... i have ridden for 50 years... i am 64. I have owned 9 . Harleys over the years... and i love this 2008 low rider the best...
My Dad rode Harleys all through the Depression, then after 5 years in the Army during WW2 he bought a new Hydra Glide in the early 50s. He loved Harleys and riding. Then in 1958 he went to trade in his bike on a new one and found that the Hydra Glide was no longer made. So he stopped riding. Because the new rear suspension Duo Glides just didn't Look Right. And that's what really counts, you know?
My 2004 Softail Heritage Classic has the same exact paint scheme! Yellow and coral two tone with blue flakes in the yellow paint. I almost never see this paint scheme anywhere else.
im renting this bike today, as a complete noob and being my 2nd bike ever ridden i am scared to death but I still want to ride because I love doing it. Rode an 883 last week, riding a 103 today, wish me luck boys.
said this in several of your Video's it's Tradition !! Since Willie G Davidson took over as president of the styling 1st project was the Invention of the Superglide, the FLH Frame Blended to the XLH Front End, the Birth of the FX !! and ever since the FX was the Experimental Model, 1st Electronic Ignition the FXE, the 1st Belt Drive the FXB, the 1st Rubber mount the FXR, the new Dyna frame the FXD, Etc Etc
It's really true M Sweat beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I love the color of this bike, I don't now why, It appears to be in great shape and no body has bought it yet,but I am sure thinking about it. And now I find out this guy is a brother in the Lord, and he will ship it to me for $500 clear across the country, I think I am talking myself into it. Dyna........mite. Jesus is Lord!!! I pray you will get back on your feet soon.
@@michaelsmith1094 Amen brother! I love the colors on this bike. I like loud paint jobs, and I think purple looks good when paired with something bright. Hopefully you bought it!
H/D is killing itself by having unreachable prices. I would love too have one but why spend 25k on a used bike when I can spend 15k on a new one...may not be a H/D but it is new.
I don't like the color (yellow is ok, but not together with purple), I don't like the wire spoked wheels with tube type tires that cannot be repaired on the road, I don't like the single exhaust, I would rather have a passenger seat and the sissy bar, and if it is fuel injected, then it is a definite no way. I do like the Dyna. I ride a 1997 Dyna Superglide with cast wheels, tubeless tires, full seat with backrest, and staggered dual exhaust pipes with aftermarket slip on mufflers. Still has the stock Vivid Black paint on it. I also don't care for the Twin Cam motor. Cam chain problems, and not really rebuildable. Oh, and the pressed together cranks tend to get out of alignment. The EVO was a much better motor.
I think it’s smart to put it in cheaper bike as they sell a lot more. Just like they sell a lot more Cruz’s than corvettes. If you wanna test something the more that test the better. Make sense now
I think Harley Davidson will collapse because their bikes are over priced there is not 25k dollars worth of materials on any motorcycle Harleys are not worth a quarter of what they sell them for
BigRog Yes! This guy is talented with the script!!! veeeeery very few RUclipsrs are as good as this guy with the scripture Mashallah and I know a lot of RUclipsrs, maybe a thousand, no joke :P
So weird I had been looking at them and then one day I went to try to build one online on their website and no dyna. But that's ok now because there's Indian dark horse.
I always liked the looks of the Dyna. It did always seem a little expensive even by Harley standards given the package. It just kinda always felt like just the premium Sportster.
I think the point is that they no longer have to manufacture parts for bikes that don't sell. If the Softail is a hot line, then the Dynas that got moved to Softails will be using the same parts they are manufacturing for bikes that sell well. It's really not about making those bikes more appealing, its more about streamlining their product stack and making a better product out the existing Dynas that did well.
Adam Laskey yes that makes sense from a parts manufacturing point of view and no doubt has something to do with the decision. I was just being critical of Shawn's comment that the reason is the dyna aren't selling, if they aren't selling then they would do away with the bike all together, I don't see how changing the frame and naming it softail will make the bikes sell more, at the end of the day the parts manufacturing that you mention is important, but selling bikes would have to be priority number 1. I think they are selling and therefore Shawn is wrong in this video, they are merely streamlining the range for reason you mentioned.
I dont get the Harley thing. Engineering wise they are crap. Motor spins backwards not balanced motor vibrate so bad they have to try and isolate the motors. Want to have a rebel image? You wouldnt be riding a Harley the sheep ride Harleys everone has them. How much of a rebel follows the masses? Never trust somthing that spins backwards to move forward!
Start quoting thE KJV Please. The version you quoted changed God to Him. Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
I think you're good at morovlogging but there are somethings I didn't like 1. at the beginning of the video you waste so much time doing nothing 2. the video is too short 3. Your outro is really boring and unsatisfying 4. (optional) your beard looks like sh*t sorry to be rude and brutal but I gotta be honest Otherwise I very much enjoyed the video and I WILL watch your other vids :) One thing I forgot to mention at the beginning, One thing I very much enjoyed is the topic selection for the video, it's a good useful attractive topic

Dyna is the swiss army knife of Harley's. A new Dyna was doable. Its the working man's Harley. Owned a Dyna for 11 years and counting!
Purple and yellow need to be spaced 100 feet apart at all times.

Oni Ologeanu scared of what? XD it's a motorcycle it's not gonna eat you
More weight and torque, it all evens out. Trust me the power of the 103 is nothing to be scared of more like laugh at
Hopefully it went well 😄
Dude.. Your commentary cracks me up.. Keep the laughs coming.. Really wish the victory was still in production.. No gonna miss any HD

I have an 883. I like you bike and really like the color. You do a great job.
Love the bike. Hate the color. But, matters not as I am unemployed and broke. I had a '97 Low Rider. Totaled it.They are the best!

Where are you spending 25K on a used bike? Most Harleys aren't that high NEW, with the exception of some tourers.
Hd is still pricing itself out of the market that's why no one buys hd. There are better more affordable v- twins out there
Michael Huber I’m thinking they are gonna make some changes to that hopefully.

Your jeans are kinda wore out. Great video thumbs up for this one.
Hope you can afford some new jeans soon .
love my 2016 softail heritage classic got it new and have rode the shit out of it
How dare you compare the Dyna to the Chevy Cruze! C'mon man! Impala at least!
Ser Jorel impalas are great cara
Cars
Two and a half times more Chevys are made in CHINA THAN THE USA! Screw chevy they took obamas handout and built plants in china!

Your Nightmare thats ok, because they arent going to get one for free
Dude I love Harley's. I just can't afford one. I have a Suzuki Marauder 800
A better decision frankly, and I've been a Harley owner.
I’m not religiosity but why do you tell us about a book I never read
