I saw Thrum on a table at the bookstore recently and was very intrigued but had never seen anyone talk about it - glad you did here! I think I’ll have to check it out for sure now.
Haha all the reasons you didn’t like goblin emperor are what I loved about it 🤣 the fact it was all in one place, slow paced & from Mia’s POV felt like I could pause my brain & enjoy a relaxing read after some very action pacted books. The second book you mentioned sounds great I’ve put it on my list 😄
I think I might do a jar of book titles to read for next year, very interesting. Oh god, Goblin Emperor sounds like the book I read called Blood Mercy. I thought my brain was going to die from all the politics. Thrum sounds great. I’m yet to read any sci fi but I do enjoy horror.
So it sounds like Titan Hopper is in the "lit rpg" genre where Dungeons & Dragons style game mechanics are incorporated. I haven't tried one and have low but not 0 interest in them. Thrum got added to my wishlist, it sounds really cool! My fav svifi of the year was Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir which also starts woth someone waking up in space. The Goblin emperor has been on my list for a while, I'm much more interested in it bc I havn't heard anything bad till now. I read Elana Knows and really liked it! Funny you mentioned Emily Fox, The wedding People, Elana Knows, and What Feasts at night were the three options for her patrion book club and why I'm reading them!
In Titan Hoppers there are a planned 6 books. Only 3 are out right now. I like the 2nd book, Spire Climbers, more than the 1st. They grow up a bit, get more powerful, some secrets get revealed, and they start to team better and rebel more. The 3rd book, Fleet Champions is not as good as the 2nd, and is the most YA of the three books primarily because of this competition that works but really just doesn't belong. I'm glad you basically liked it though. I actually did think you'd see it as 3.5 stars.
First of all, i LOVe the snake earrings. Have you read Tales of the Peculiar by Ransom Riggs? It's a short story collection and it's very.. Peculiar hah
I just wonder about the moth. Didn't you say that you recently had someone pass in your family? I wonder if it was a sign to pay attention to your dreams because that person is reaching out? Okay back to watching.
That's quite the fashion choice... I'm sure it'll attract all the people very interested in the books, and nothing else.
Come for the boobs, stay for the books 🤷🏻♀️
Book tubers should only be homely, with glasses, turtlenecks and long dresses.
I'm tired of this blatant manipulation, and I'm tired of falling for it 🤣

That’s why there’s books for everyone, my brain struggled with it but yours thought it was just right 😌
I love your reading vlogs no matter the structure. 😊 Still waiting for “Anyone’s Ghost” to pop up. lol. But not sure now if you’ll love it. Hehe.
Hahah even if it’s not my jam it’s still good to read books others have enjoyed
Love to your sisters ❤

Well that’s one interesting way to make reading choices but afraid I can’t afford to be that arbitrary. Be well.⚛️❤
She only picks them if she can get them from the library.

That is correct
