The three friends you had tell us a little something about you were spot on! I have seen every one of your videos that you have made. It started with the video, "From Wheelchair to Hiking 2200 miles." I was curious when I saw your video as I am having health issues that keep me from long distance hiking,
and I was hooked after seeing your video and had to watch every one of them. I watch many hiking vloggers and you are absolutely the most fun to watch. I love your German accent with the touch of American Southern accent mixed in. Your wit and sarcasm make you who you are, and we all love you for who you are!

Basically every one said Julianna is an all around good person, someone you would want as a friend or your neighbor. She’s artistic, has a strong work ethic, witty, very intelligent not to mention easy on the eyes. I think her growing up mainly in Germany might have something to do with that and a family business teaches you a lot about life. Looking forward to following her along the PCT, it’s going to be a huge adventure for her going without Starbux for a few months ;)

After the AT, you certainly have a good idea of the upcoming challenges - and each section of the PCT does have its challenge. BUT there is much more to look forward to! I have hiked sections of the JMT and absolutely LOVE it - some of my most favorite trail.

Hey Hiking Dancer - thanks for all your videos. I am about to hike the Appalachian Trail and have taken your advice to heart. I am likely your dad's age and also have dealt with citizenship issues (my kids all have 4 passports). I also lived in Germany - but was born in the UK. Fun fact about me, I'm a recently retired law enforcement officer, so I share your enthusiasm on that topic. When I toured Amsterdam and the area with my brother and his wife years ago, we picked up saying “Naturlich” and say it to this day. But my favorite word is geschlossen. Signs were often on doors and my sister in law would add her Wis-gahn-sin (Wisconsin) accent and we wound up pronouncing it gesch-lot’n. Such a great word. Keukenhof in April was the most beautiful place I’ve ever seen. Looking forward to your PCT adventure and your bewegung uber gewasser (?). 😊
