Luckiest Survivor winners:
*Chris Underwood nervously sweats*
Ben?
You gotta do this but most “unlucky” winners. And I think it’d be cooler if you ranked them from most to least. You could just do a 1-43 list or maybe a tier list where you slot players into tiers of luck/unluck.
I feel like this would be cool, like you can do unluckiest (or when the winner had the least control) moments and how the winner rebounded, showing why they were deemed the winner
Sarah was pretty lucky that JT told Brad of his tribe's plan because had that not happened, Sierra probably goes home and Sarah doesn't receive the legacy advantage which saved her at final 6
I disagree. I think the game would be completely different if Sierra went home there over Malcolm and Sarah might’ve not been in a position to use her advantage at six
@@cupidity2960 True, this is what would've happened assuming that everything played out the same
You should be glad Russell didn’t win HvV: he didn’t need luck!
@@drewlmao No, you heard him at FTC-he didn’t need luck!
He got lucky when Tyson voted for Parvati
He 110% needed the luck of Tyson throwing his vote to get anywhere in that game.
Facts
@@bencalebrodand he needed jerri to send home Danielle
i think a big lucky factor in tonys winners at war game was that denise wanted to vote out sandra over him. it wouldve been so easy for denise to put that sole vote on tony instead of sandra and tony wouldve gone home.
Or Sandra throws her vote on Tony too
Wendell winning because he was looking at Angela at the right time really illustrates that everything you do on Survivor down to the most minute details is gameplay
I love Michelle, but she’s probably one of the luckiest winners to never get voted out
How so? Minus the Joe medical evac
I heard she also mightve been the first boot on her initial tribe... her first tribal was also at final 10 on an 18 player cast... she went to only 6 tribal councils before final tribal. So yeah, I'd consider her lucky lol
Kim definitely got extremely lucky with the men giving up immunity. Sabrina was really campaigning to vote out Alicia and the men giving up immunity was perpetrated due to nothing she actually did.
I also think she got extremely lucky that troyzan wasn’t able to flip over Alicia and Christina, as they were very much considering doing so
that's not even lucky at all they didn't flip because of Kim and Sabrina lost influence to Kim when she included her in the alliance. The alliance wasn't turning on itself if they could just get rid of Christina
More lucky that colton got medivaced 100%
@@daltonfarris Colton sucked socially I actually think the men wanted to flip more because of him
@@devondonato4609 not really he was a strong force and goat they could use to take down the female alliance because he was a safe vote that he and Alicia could both play double agent on the women and they were screwed... the guys wouldn't flip until it was Jonas, Tarzan, troyzan, lief, vs alicia and colton if colton doesn't still sway Jonas and Tarzan to vote with those 2. Kim is not getting the numbers away from colton...
@@daltonfarris no he wasn’t a strong force. Half the guys loathed him on the tribe and only sided with him because he had the idol. The men trusted Kim so much(Colton said in exit interviews he wanted to go to the end with Kim) that I think they throw logic out the window and give the numbers to Kim and even Alicia didn’t give a shit when he got medevaced what makes you think she was going to help him
For Maryanne I was thinking Romeo wins final immunity. I think had Mike or Jonathan won immunity, they save each other
Definitely a possibility
Mike and Jonathan 100% save each other. The question I guess is what is Maryanne's fire ability and does she beat Romeo at fire most likely or not.
@@grantgoffin4774Mike goes against Maryanne in fire in those scenarios as if he wins final immunity he had confirmed that he would go against Maryanne. Jonathan would have either sent himself or Mike.
You forgot Wendell's luck that Malolo chose to boot Morgan over him at Final 18
I don't think that was just random luck. We saw Laurel take the target off Wendell's back when talking to the other Malolo players, so it was very likely his strong relationships that kept him alive.
A big one for Natalie Anderson is Jon and Jaclyn having a big fight that prevented them from even considering Reed's plan which very well could have succeeded if not for the fight
True
Great concept and great analysis
Idea: what if every final 3 was a tie and the 3rd person had to choose the winner.
Cook Islands- Becky picks Yul over Ozzy.
Fiji- Cassandra and Dreamz probably pick each other over Earl, if by some miracle it got to that.
China- Courtney and Amanda both pick Todd over each other. Todd probably picks Courtney over Amanda.
Gabon- Sugar picks Bob over Susie.
Samoa- Mick picks Russell over Natalie.
Heroes vs Villians- Russell picks Parvati over Sandra.
Nicragaua- Sash picks Chase over Fabio.
Redemption Island- Natalie picks Rob over Phillip.
South Pacific- Albert picks Sophie over Coach.
One World- Chelsea picks Kim over Sabrina.
Phillippines- Lisa and Skupin pick each other over Denise, if by some miracle it came to that. Denise picks Skupin over Lisa.
Caramoan- Sherri picks Cochran over Dawn if somehow Dawn got 4 votes.
Blood vs Water- Gervase picks Tyson over Monica if somehow Monica got 4 votes.
San Juan Del Sur- Missy picks Natalie over Jaclyn.
Worlds Apart- Carolyn and Mike pick each other over Will. Will picks Carolyn the winner if Carolyn-Mike tie.
Cambodia- Tasha picks Jeremy over Spencer if Spencer somehow got 5 votes.
Koah Rong- Tai picks Aubry over Michele in a tie.
MVGX- Ken picks Hannah over Adam probably if Hannah somehow got 5 votes.
Game Changers- Troyzan picks Brad over Sarah if Brad got 2 more votes.
Healers vs Heroes vs Hustlers- Ryan and Chrissy pick each other over Ben. Ben picks Ryan over Chrissy.
Ghost Island- oops already saw that one.
David vs Goliath- Angelina picks MIke over Nick if Mike gets 2 more votes.
Edge of Extinction- Julie picks Gavin over Chris in a tie.
Island of Idols- Noura picks Tommy over Dean in a tie.
Winners at War- Michele picks Tony over Natalie in a tie.
Season 41- Xander picks DeShawn over Erika if somehow DeShawn got 3 more votes. He took Erika to the final since he didn't view her as a threat.
Season 42- Romeo picks Maryanne over Mike in a tie easily.
@@grantgoffin4774 here's where I feel different.
S15 I think Todd picks Amanda
S23 I think Albert picks coach.
S31 I think Spencer and tasha pick each other.(maybe Spencer picks Jeremy)
S33 Who does hannah pick?
S40 I feel very split if Michelle picks Tony or natalie.(lord please let her pick Tony)
S42 No spoilers plz
@@psychospike7458 Todd's pick in Season 15 is interesting. He is much closer to Courtney post show, in fact Amanda ghosted him after her loss allegedly (same as Parvati post Micronesia) so that might taint things. I would need to rewatch the season to get a stronger feel who he was closer with, but he might pick Amanda out of game play reasons regardless.
I do think Albert thought Sophie was the strongest player besides himself, so based on that I think he picks her, although not 100% sure.
Tasha's pick between Spencer and Jeremy would be interesting. She seemed to indicate even in interviews she was full team Jeremy no matter what, but in her answer to Abi said she was way closer to Spencer than anyone so who knows.
I think Hannah picks.....probably Adam, since Ken did not recipriocate her crush on him, which would be the only reason to pick him. Then again maybe she is so amazed Ken got up to 5 votes somehow she picks him for that alone.
@@grantgoffin4774 l just finished survivor 41 and I think Xander picks Erika cause she was his closest Alli and he didn't like deshawn
@@psychospike7458 agreed.
Thank you for posting the video.
So i saw this video.. and went ooooooo.
Love the concept lets see how it goes...
An answer for Mary-Anne could be Romeo winning final immunity over Johnathon, since she would have probably lost to Mike in fire making if Johnathon won
She doesn’t go against Mike if he won
love these videos
The luckiest moment for Tommy was that Missy and Arron’s egos prevented them from throwing the challenge and only changed their mind in the middle of the challenge because they didn’t want to lose
That was caused by a bad swap + an advantage being given to Elaine
I think this is just a great idea, thanks for the analysis! So many get lucky, but at what point does it take away from their game?
Gabler’s luckiest moment: getting that idol in the premiere. Without it he’s probably a first boot
Good video. Season 2 Tina had some pre game luck with the original plan being to parachute the contestants. Without the original plan there was no drop out and Tina stays as an alternate.
Mike might be one of the winners who relied on Luck the least. Dude had to win immunity after immunity. Didn’t gain anything from some production advantage, or any Medvacs or quits. Or even any really dumb moves by his rivals
I think JT’s luckiest moment was when he unintentionally saw the immunity idol on taj’s bag, otherwise he would’ve be in “THE JALAPAO 3”
The Caramoan tribe swap was greatly beneficial for Cochran, as Favorites had the majority on BOTH tribes, allowing them to easily pick off two Fans he had little connection with.
I think a few of these are more of a calculated risk than dumb luck
This is a genius video
Dean getting the idol nullifier is lucky for Tommy because it allowed them to take out Janet when she otherwise would have an easy path to victory after the Dan ejection
you definitely gotta do this for Big Brother winners too. Even the GOATs of franchises get lucky
Dan and Will defintely had a lot of luck
Bob: Everything
I don't think Danni needed that mid merge immunity even tho she was lucky she won it
From where do you that Sandra could been the first boot on PI?
Potential video idea: who would have been the next to go had their tribe lost immunity one more time before the merge
Rob c: "what are the chances nick goes home first?"
Davy - "0 not a chance dude"
I'd say nick was lucky that the davids had a ton of advantages plus, christian and gabby flipped, making nick in the end as the sole david left.
I think you should do this for Big Brother Winners and Survivor Losing Finalists
Jeremy was very lucky with Spencer winning immunity, if it was Keith or Kimmi Jeremy’s side will be as screwed as Kelley’s was.
Jeremy I think has one that stands out and that is Kelley Wentworth taking out savage with her idol play. She could've gone for Jeremy or Stephen or Tasha there, all of which wouldve been worse for Jeremy's game long term. Plus that removes savage without Jeremy having to take him out and get blood on his hands. Savage is a petty man and wouldve blamed Jeremy for his ouster
Honorable mention for Tom's winning game of Palau: Caryn not flipping on him at the final 7/final 6. I forget which episode has the "Caryn sucks" quote, but she could've flipped at either of these votes, with Katie/Jenn/(Stephanie if at final 7). But I suppose the moment mentioned in this video is a cause of why this flip didn't happen.
Erika def got lucky with Naseer not throwing the immunity. She got screwed by the hourglass twist and I think she wins the immunity at final five without the advantage. With Deshawns extra vote I think he chose who would go home in premerge and he got to choose who went home and it was 50/50
I believe I heard that was just the show saying that Erika would have gone had they thrown that challenge, the really target was Sydney I believe
@@baileylynn5562 it might've been but its still too up in the air to really know, I don't really care for the premerge game anyways, I think her post merge game was good
But Ricard was really close to winning that final immunity against Erika, I think he was a few seconds off of beating her so I don't think she wins that final 5 immunity without that advantage.
@@jaye5872 he wasn't seconds off, rewatch the final shot before Erika put her pieces in. She beat him easily with a piece on the ground. The show made it look closer than it was
@@devondonato4609 Ok I'll check it out and see, if it's true, it's so annoying that the show edits challenges to be closer than they actually are just for the sake of suspense
Also, does this mean that we might see a 'top X luckiest players who never won' video?
It's so weird to imagine there was a time where Brandon Hantz was a legitimate jury threat
Ironically on South Pacific he was a WAY bigger jury threat than his uncle Russell Hantz was on any of his seasons. He could win Samoa against Jaison and Shambo, and Redemption Island against Phillip and Natalie T, and that is basically it out of those entire casts (well Ben Browning too probably).
Cochran got lucky that Corinne blew up her game at the merge by telling Dawn her plan.
Kim spradlin lucky colton was medivaced
Let’s go
I feel Erika’s biggest moment of luck is the VERY conveniently timed challenge advantage she finds at F5. I feel she definitely needed that to be able to get Ricard out of the game.
That advantage was specifically for Ricard tho. It wasn’t conveniently for her
Yasssss
Sandra also told us that she manipulated Russell. Said if he gets her to the merge she would give him her jury vote.
I completely disagree with your assessment that Paschal would’ve beaten Vecepia in a final 2. Paschal was not very well liked by the jury. Paschal would’ve lost to Neleh in a final 2, so Vecepia’s vote wasn’t that bad
You are incorrect. The cast has confirmed this. Kathy beats everyone of the Final 5, but Paschal beats everyone but Kathy. John, Tammy, Robert for sure favored Paschal over any of Neleh, Vecepia, or Sean. Neleh obviously always votes him, no matter who he is with. Sean votes him over Neleh atleast (he hated her) for sure. No idea on Zoey but probably votes him over Vecepia atleast. Kathy would vote him over Sean, and possibly over Neleh or Vecepia. Vecepia would vote him over Neleh.
Wendell's luckiest moment by far was Kellyn not putting her votes on him, for if she does he goes 3-2-1 in the split tribal, and she was very much considering it but ultimately was spooked by the possibility of him and Michael having idols into voting Laurel.
I don’t think that was luck. I thought the way he wedged Laurel Kellyn and Michael from eachother was masterful.
Tony biggest luck is pregame deals between Sarah him and Ben
I don’t see how Lex beats Ethan so idk about that one
Sarah was out in that final six without the legacy advantage. Even with no other idols in play. She won the season because of the legacy advantage.
Erika only wins 41 cuz of the hourglass twist.
She almost lost the game because of the hourglass
As was said in the video, not being at camp the first 2 days of the merge is pretty much a death sentence unless you have immunity. If Erika wasn't exiled in the first placeit's far a given that she's the target.
Tina Weston Amber didn’t flip on that alliance after voting out Jerry got very lucky there
Thinking about Hatch he was just lucky the other team wasn't interested in strategy.
He already said the cast doesn’t count as being lucky
Luckiest break for Sandra in Heroes vs Villains is Tyson voting himself out. Without that, Russell would have gone home and the season would have run very differently.
I don't think Paschal would beat vecepia in marquesas. I believe he had a good edit because of the way he was eliminated. And he would probably give some straight way answers to the jury and they wouldn't be happy. He was a straight up answers type of player.
Ok in Chris's defense, he did rat out Scout and Twila after Chad got voted out, which laid the groundwork for Ami kicking them out of the alliance. But yeah, he did get very lucky here. Now, he still probably wins F6 immunity, forcing the women to vote out one of their own regardless. causing a 3-3 tie, since he likely teams up with Scout and Twila. Depending on how rocks go, Leann, Twila, or Julie get the axe at F6. If Ami goes, then Chris still likely steamrolls to the end, but if Ami stays, he's screwed.
wouldn't Jeremy's lucky moment be Wentworth losing final four immunity?
I would only say that’s luck if he didn’t win final immunity. Since he won I think it’s more skill than luck
Also for Parvati - Penner getting medevaced
I saw it 31 seconds after release
Sandra and Natalie white is the whole game
Yeah they were really lucky Russell sucked at the game so bad that they took advantage of him to make sure they sat next to him beating him.
Lori?
Todds luck is from Courtney being a newbie to Survivor. Because Courtney failed to capitalize on 2 votes in the ftc. Courtney definitely could have won that season.
Maryanne’s has to be the fact that Lindsay doesn’t play her idol on Omar. Mike was totally right in saying that voting for Omar was a dumb move because Lindsay should 100% play her idol because it is the last time she could. Lindsay basically threw the game by holding onto a useless idol and won the game for Maryanne
I believe Natalie will actually survive the pagonging in Samoa.
She won't make FTC though, and even if in the super unlikely event she does she won't likely win now either.
I have nothing to say
Gabler's Luckiest moment?
Natalie Anderson is greatly benefitted by Jaclyn winning Final Immunity and not Keith. If Keith goes to F3, Natalie has a much tougher road at FTC.
Not really as she probably still beats Keith (no way Reed and Josh vote for him over Natalie after "stick to the plan") plus she was in second place in the final immunity challenge and nearly beat Jacklyn.
@@bencalebrod I guess the question is, whether she is voted out now. Which is possible, I do think Jaclyn and Missy try and vote Natalie out in that scenario, so the question is whether Keith who stupidly thought Missy was a jury threat for some reason, forces a tie and firemaking or not.
41 Erika was most benefited by Xander not being voted out by evie, Tiffany and liana at Yase. Because literally everyone else would have taken Erika out in fire.
I think that’s different. Had Xander went in the premerge Erika plays a completely different game and can probably win that final immunity against somebody like Deshawn Heather and an Tiffany or Liana we only know Deshawn Heather and Xander are better at fire than Erika
@@cupidity2960 I see what you mean but that final immunity had no close second i dont think erika would have easily won it. It was really up un the air. However, I have no idea how Erika would have played the merge differently. That would be really interesting to watch!
if the final 3 in panama was terry aras cirie, who wins final immunity
Aras 100 percent dude is a yoga instructor only reason he loses in what ends up happening is because he lets Danielle win since terry already lost
@@esdeathisbae9480 and then he takes cirie and likely loses
tommy chose to ally with a predator hes not "unlucky" when the predator gets ejected.
Natalie would’ve saved Ben over Sarah
Most "unlucky" player in each season
Erik and Sherri hated each other. If he was not med evac the final three would probably be him , Dawn and Cochran and I believe the only change would be that Erik was going to be the runner up with one vote from Brenda.
ethan wouldve beat lex
It comes down to Frank and how he votes. Kim J, Kelly, and I think Tom vote Ethan. Brandon, T Bird, Kim P are all voting Lex. So it depends on Frank, and he has given contradicting stories.
@@dougierichardson484 tbird has said for years ethan wouldve won
@@bigbrotherspoilers9756 She also says she would have voted for Lex though. So that along with Kim Powers and Brandon who obviously vote Lex (they didn't even vote Ethan against Kim J) gives Lex 3 votes minimum. So like I said it all comes down to Frank who in some interviews says he would have voted Lex, and others says he isn't sure or would have voted Ethan so it is anyones guess what he does, and his vote decides it.
@@dougierichardson484 tbird has given the breakdown many times on who votes for who, i dont remember off the top of my head, but im gonna take her word over david richardson's
@@bigbrotherspoilers9756 And I would take a fart's word over bigbrotherspoilers. Like I told you fool T-Bird might have said she thinks Lex wins but I know for sure she said she herself votes Lex over Ethan 100% atleast 5 times (vs the 1 time she might have said she thinks Ethan wins), and that combined with Kim Powers and Brandon who are obviously locked for Lex (they didn't even vote Ethan over Kim J, so it isn't even debateable) it all comes down to Frank's vote, and Frank has given mixed coments to who he would have voted for, but has often implied Lex. So Ethan might have won, but it certainly isn't far fetched Lex would have when he only needs Frank's vote and Frank is non commital at best.
By the way you are the same idiot who thinks Nicole beats Cody if she wins final HOH and takes Cody on Big Brother 22. Your opinion means less than a wart, LOL!
Hot take, there are many undeserving winners in survivor history, but they most ridiculously nonsensical winners are both Erika from 41 and Natalie white from 19..
Considering Erika was 100x better than Xander who did absolutely nothing and not socially inept like Deshawn I’d say she faired well
I don’t think there are that many undeserving winners tbh. Like they are all deserving in some way
I mean if you win something went right even if it's not it in your control
No Erika was way better than Xander what did he do better than Erika? Natalie knew she could beat Russell because he lacked the social aspect of the game so why not fo with him if you know you can beat him..
@@juanmora9190 natalie didn't play the game, she is pagonged with every other foa foa if she doesn't have russell. Russell did everything to get to the end so she could just be nice and look pretty because he was the one carrying on his back. Erika was "a shell on the beach" to quote erik from caramoan when referring to sherry. Xander won immunities and expertly used wit to avoid having his idol stolen. Erika made 1 move so unnoteworthy i can't even remember what it was, maybe taking out shan. And broke an hour glass while being someone who no one targeted because they didn't need to, they just got robbed in the end
