- In this video, I rank the first HOH of every Big Brother US season based on how I feel like they played that first week and how they set themselves up for the rest of the game.

For Hayden's HOH, I would also give him bonus points for basically killing the saboteur twist even though that was a complete accident. Lol.
McCrae's HOH was really good. He got himself in a power alliance of 5, not only appeased the house by putting Elissa on the block, but with Spencer and Nick's help, got David, who was his target, evicted. And got out of the week with 0 blood on his hands.
While this list fairly accurately aligns with my views, I gotta say in the majority of the BB community, Rachel Plencner is severely underrated for her strategic and social capabilities. She was overshadowed (and underedited) with great TV personalities within her alliance, but without her the Sovereign Six gets picked off much easier than they did. She easily makes my top 5.
She and possibly James were the only ones in that alliance with any brains at all. However James comes across as untrustworthy, even though he isn't, which naturally gets him and his alliance members into trouble. So she was their best player IMO. Janelle, Howie, Sarah (James's gf at the time), even Kaysar, love them all, but they don't have a strategic bone in their body. Some think Janelle is this great player since she nearly won twice. That just proves what great comp dominance alone can do with you is all.
The Sovreign Six would have steamrolled, but Howie went and completely screwed that all up by putting up James and Sarah
what about if you rank the double eviction boots? not the triple from bb22, the split house from bb24, or old school double evictions
Wow! What a video!
bb18 nicole franzel wasn’t even nominated until final 4!! she deserves to be higher.
Maybe. Nicole played that week well, but that season set her up with a pretty obvious 6 person alliance with the 4 vets and the 2 siblings: Paulie and Tiffany. Vanessa even mentioned this on a podcast during the season. Plus, if you consider how the 1st HOH was "won" in BB18, there was a pretty good chance that a vet was getting the 1st HOH, anyway. It was clear that Nicole should've targetted the most anti-vet newbie [Jozea] and use her alliance w/ the vets, Tiffany, and Paulie, and Corey (her teammate) to secure the votes, and focus on building relationships with other newbies. That's all the strategy she needed that week. It was pretty similar to Rachel's HOH in BB13, as mentioned.
The question is how much the first HOH had to do with that though. If it didn't neccessarily have a lot to do with that, it wouldn't neccessarily apply much to this ranking.
I think Tyler overall displayed the best game as the first HoH but Cody displayed the best HoH in terms of dominance.
I'd argue Hayden was more dominant as a first HOH than Cody, because while Cody would've been targeted next had Janelle/Kaysar been able to win a comp, absolutely no one was coming for Hayden in the following weeks, because even with Rachel's HOH, her target was Kristen, and Hayden was just on the block because of being her showmance, plus he knew 100% he had the votes to stay over her
@@NYChica23 I think I agree for the most part. I think I need to watch those early weeks of bb22 again to see if Janelle and Kaysar were really gonna go for Cody the first week. I only put Cody higher cause he finished the first week a mega-alliance who would protect him. (To be fair he built that before the show so his 1st HoH was much easier where he just had to target people who weren't in it.) At least Hayden went in blind, but he didn't start his alliance. I fefinitely prefer Hayden's game for that reason, but I think I lean towards Cody a bit more just cause of sheer numbers and protection. Even Enzo orchestrated putting Hayden on the block to scare him a bit but he's never doing that to Cody.
Pendant of Production was actually super funny
My Rankings
25. Willie
24. Cody
23. Frenchie
22. Boogie
21. Amanda
20. Alex
19. Jase (BB5)
18. Jerry
17. Kail
16. Daniel
15. Janelle
14. Jase (BB7)
13. Christie
12. Lisa
11. James
10. Caleb
9. Rachel (BB6)
8. Nathan
7. Rachel (BB13)
6. Jessie
5. McCrae
4. Nicole F
3. Tyler
2. Cody
1. Hayden
I can get behind Hayden’s HOH being higher than Cody’s, the only argument I’ll make against that is Cody’s more dominant position in the power structure secured him a clean 9-0 jury vote vs Hayden’s narrow 4-3 win. But Hayden was definitely in a safer position throughout the game in its entirety.
For around the first half of the game Enzo was a bigger jury threat than Cody
Cody did not sweep Enzo due to his first HOH reign. And Hayden won against the biggest jury threat in the whole house, besides himself. Cody won 9-0 against someone who loses to most people in the Final 6. Enzo is a good reference point too since in a Final 12 of Enzo and Hayden in BB12, which nearly happened, Hayden probably wins 7-0 as well. Enzo's only possible votes are Rachel and Brendon, but I think even they go Hayden, especialy as they mostly voted Lane due to a lie Brittany told them to try and help her showmance Lane win, which she never does for Enzo, as she prefers Hayden to Lane.
This for bbcan would probably be :
1- Chris
2- Adam
3- Karen
4-Bobby
5- Hermon
6- Johnny
7- Suzette
8- Austin
9- Santina
10- Paul
11- Loveita
I feel like it could move around a bit, but for me
The top 3 are the clear top 3
And the bottom 3 are the clear bottom 3
The rest could move around from 4th to 8th
I think Adam and Hermon are the clear 1 and 2. Both of them were the only ones who actively used their HoH to set up a house structure that they were well insulated in.
This made me realise how bad the majority of BBCAN11 players are, but they're amazing tv
Suzette should be very low tbh
You should do a first juror rankings. Idk who would be #1 but there would be some good contenders..
Cody would obviously be dead last lol
Jessie would be near the top possibly at 1.
Good
I love how James is the only non white first hoh 😂😬
thats wild
he's out here representing
Honestly i think Frenchie could do really well in a second chance season if he just learns from his mistakes
Yeah, he seems like a smart guy who knows the game, but he just took things too far.
So many blondes lol
And yet we will still hear "blondes are dumb" stereotypes
Tyler is a weird won because his minipulation of Katlyn is amazing but his ally I’m Sam was close to going home
Tyler needed to make those 2 specific noms, though, in order to play the middle and not start a Level 6 vs FOUTE war that would've put a much bigger target on his back.
How on earth is Janelle is lower than Daniel , Jase BB7 & Jessie
Janelle was in a very bad position after her HoH because the opposing alliance (everyone not in the S6 alliance) was targeting her.
Jase was in a better position than Janelle because he was in the middle, being affiliated with the S6 alliance, whilst also being aligned with everyone not in the S6 alliance, giving him the levarage to play both sides of the house, keeping him safe in the middle. Jessie has a better HoH reign than Janelle because even tho he was being targeted by the opposing alliance after his HoH reign, similarly to Janelle, he had many good relationships with people in his power structer, he has a strong bond with Ronnie, he has a strong bond with Lydia, he has a strong bond with Natalie, he has a strong bond with Russell, he has a strong bond with Chima and even Kevin who was probably the person he had the least amount of a relationship with within his very strong power structure didnt wanna get Jessie out, keeping Jessie in a very strong position. im not sure about Daniel though.
No way frenchie is that high on the list. Not saying ur wrong I agree with what u say, but it was surprising
Frenchie didn’t get flipped on. Everyone before him was on the wrong side of the vote. That is the worst thing you can have as an hoh.
Considering Frenchie at least got the person he wanted out, that already ranks him above Willie, Cody (19), and Boogie, who completely failed at having their HOH go the way they wanted it to go
Was Frenchie high in this list though? I still think he has a pretty low ranking, which is deserved.
tbh I’d have him even higher, above amanda at least
I'm not really that of a BB know it all. So what does HOH mean
Head of household
I'm excited to see people in the comment section say you're sexist because there is 2x the men as the women
FIRST
Next one should be ranking every tiebreaker
wdym
@@bigbrotherspoilers9756 When the HOH has to break the tie and send someone out (Gina Marie to Amanda, Vanessa to Austin, etc)
@@GayLatinoBear there prolly isnt very many to make a whole video on them
