Me, bruh a massive man cliff and then Alexis? Alexis was put against a grow strong man and a grown woman. Not trying to be sexist, but that is COMPLETELY UNFAIR
The teams chose who to go on the poles, deciding to put your strongest player on the pole seems like it would be the smartest thing to do but the brains had other ideas.
Not to mention cliff is almost 7’ and 300lbs
@@peterboylan8560 They had to choose 2 men+1 woman. I think when they saw Cliff on the pole, they knew their only shot at getting him off was with two men, forcing them to use a woman on the pole. A man and woman trying to get Cliff off was never going to work. Cliff was just an overly powerful advantage in this challenge.
i so get it and think it seems to be unfair...but aren’t all of the challenges requiring a particular strength or feature? like being agile, larger, or very fast, or great balance. and often people who have these features use it to their advantage. i feel this sort of scenario has played out a lot of times.
Plus it wasn’t fair for her to have to fight off a man and girl. He easily ripped her off. It should have been another boys round

That was hilarious. The moment I saw the matchups for the second and third round, it was clear who was going to win. There was no way they were going to beat Cliff, and Cliff knew it. How many challenges do you see someone literally laughing at the futile attempts of the other tribe?
It was said in an interview that Alexis volunteered to sit on the pole before finding out who would be the one grappling her.
Maybe that's why Alexis wasn't on Luzon...
Well if she didn't know who was going against her.... also the other option to go on the pole was Kass, so it didn't look good for Aparri either way.

I found it really unfair that they matched LJ and Jefra to get Alexis off. I mean this was a really unfair challenge because some of the guys here are a lot stronger than some girls and made it easy to win. I didn't really like this challenge.....

Sparky Millen I completely agree. This was not remotely fair, at all. As much as we would wish it otherwise, by default, men are simply built to be stronger than women. What they could've done was a match up by height and weight - that would've at least been slightly fairer.

Who cares how hard Survivor is, I give props to Jeff for remembering all those names all the time.
This was one of the most unfair challenges in Survivor history. It was like asking one tribe to try and remove a bear from around a pole and losing if they failed. One of the most one-sided face-offs ever.
I agree, they should have only girls pulling girls, and boys pulling boys
It’s possible it was intended to be that way, but at this swap, there were 6/9 men and 8/9 women left. New Aparri only had two men, so they had to play with mixed gender.

Those 2 guys had no chance against cliff, and there were men dragging women, every man there was more powerful than the women, was obvious which team had the advantage.
Yu Jin thats how a competition works, one team ends up better than the other. There was no advantage, just a better tribe for the challenge

I have a feeling there were some stalemates in this challenge that didn't make it to air, that might explain some of the weird player choices and the fact that Woo and Kass weren't seen participating.
