@@itzcrayfish7842 Or, better yet, randomly hide the advantage in one of the food items and tell the contestants from the start it can be in ANY of the dishes.
Making it truly random and incentivizing people to bid instead of holding all their cash for the guaranteed advantage. Further, introduce more openly bad options so some dumb asshole can drop 200$ for a plate of grubs on the off chance the bottom of the plate has the advantage.

In the challenge that went on for like 5 hours in David vs Goliath with Christian vs Alec one of the contestants said Christian asked Jeff why they don’t do the auction anymore and Jeff said something like “nobody wants to see people bid for food for 10 minutes” or something like that

Probs ended the auctions because in the end, nobody would bud in anything, waiting for advantages. One easy fix is to say there's no advantages in the auctions anymore and bringb this fan favorite episode back
