- Outstanding performance from this FLEX FX3411 24-volt Brushless 5-inch random orbital sander. You get 3 speeds and a Turbo mode that delivers from 6,000 to 13,000 OPM (Orbits Per Minute). The included dust bag does a very good job of collecting the majority of the sanding dust. Hooking up the 1-1/4" vacuum hose does an even better job of keeping your work area free of sanding residual. This FLEX 24V Sander is set to ship in July 2023 at a price of $150 for the bare tool. #review #sander #tools

Don't forget about the flex founders lifetime warranty offer that runs until 12/31/23. Register the tool before that date and get a lifetime warranty on tools, batteries, and chargers.
Great review. I just happen to be in the market for a sander and I already have several Flex tools which are great.
Thanks for the information!
Dang it Flex you did it again just take my money 😂
They did for me. Great sander. Far more weight balanced than I expected. Love it.
Very impressive
More of my money leaving my pockets, damn you Flex!!
Yes …. Yes I would go cordless with my Sander .. I went with a M12 Cordless Rotary tool and it’s one handy item ..would you consider it review worthy .. ?
These were supposed to come out in spring
How is the vibration on the sander?
Battery sanders are dumb unless necessary or the job is fast. Sanding can take a long time and needs patience, battery sanders don't have good battery life, they are unbalanced, and awkward, except for the new Bosch. Nothing about this sander says sand for more than a couple minutes at most. Spend the $80 on a Bosch or Makita corded and sand for an hour and your hand and wrist will feel better. Sanders are a tool where you get what you pay for. This looks like it was designed because they felt like they had to build not because they wanted a refined product.
I beg to differ. Flex has been made to compete with all the big brands. Hence why it took long to release one. Whether I decide to buy this, is one thing. But this is a well thought out sander to compete with it's comparative competitors. This isn't meant to go against a corded or a festool. it is what it is.
This has nothing to do with it being flex. It's worse designed than Makita. The dust port is just there, it's tall, the battery layout is awkward. I'm sure the quality is fine, that does not mean it's well designed. We should shouldn't praise companies just because they did something ok.
I have many sanders I only use the corded if I have something nice I have to sand at home. I only care if sander leaves swirls or fish eyes
Idk, I have no complaints about this sander. Battery life is just fine too. Then again I have a total of 11 of their batteries. I sanded a 12x12 room where all the joints and high points are recently and didn't have power in the area. Had a great experience and it didn't hurt my hands. Used 1.5 charges on a 2.5 battery.
