- I thank you for checking out this video, Im just your average guy having Fun with tools. I test tools out to see what these tools can do, and what they can't do. Please Subscribe to the channel and get that tool fix here. Have a great day!
Don't worry guys. When Project Farm gets his hands on it we'll get a real answer.
After Ave
What will it take to get FLEX to smoke? AVE will tell us. Will the guts hold up to quality inspection? Can’t wait to find out.
I'm waiting for AvE to go apeshit on it first 🤣
VCG will do some TTR on them too and actually put it up against the fair competition. Either way not a good look for flex to enter the market this way, I would rather an honest test and them lose barely, rather than to force their tools to win under non consistent variables, even when they did a fair test with the sawzalls, of course they didn't go up against the super Sawzall. Between all the honest channels out there, they will get down to the bottom line of what type of quality and durability flex is working with.
"We're gonna test that"
Just need to wait for AvE and Project Farm to get there hands on some of these, maybe even torque test channel
Project farm and Dave test them the best in my opinion
I thank you for viewing
I haven't head of AvE. I love all of these type of channels. Thanks for the mew one
“We’ll test that!”
Project farm is always the best unbiased tester on RUclips
I've watched their entire stream live, it was basically a glorified ad in my opinion.
They had a LOT of hype and attention, they blew it with this ad.
Most people on the stream i watched seemed to share my opinion.
I still think they have a lot to offer but they shot themselves in the foot.
Seems that way?! The main guy used to be on a tool review channel many years ago. They claimed to be all about the consumer, and Integrity!
@GFK dang, that says a lot yes.
I’m glad you made this video because that ad was garbage and you nailed it here
I watched it too. Idk what demographic flex is really going after. Most tradesmen I work with and know trust one or two brands of cordless tools. I’m not sure that this ad really helped them especially when your experiment already has bias.
@@levibruce8322 They are going for the Milwaukee guys for sure. They think Milwaukee users just want the most power, but it's really about durability, the diverse platform and a universal charger for both line of tools. I'd have gotten it too but my fingers land right in the screw holes on the handles as a lefty haha. Oh plus the fuel impact lets go of bits..
I had a ton of respect for you before you released this, now I have even more. I agree 100% with you. Thank you for calling this what it is.
I’m not watching this channel tomorrow. I’m going to watch it all month long. We aren’t stupid. FLEX can’t bullshit us. They have something to offer but have to earn our money fairly. Too many batteries out there that we all have like the Flexvolt that we all work with that is real world batteries. We have them, so we use them. If they can’t beat what is out already, they have a long way to go.
Flexgate 2021 lol
I thank you for viewing
Go watch VCG now
I will be excited to see the best FLEX has to offer, the Turbo hammer with their biggest battery, 8ah, against the biggest and baddest DeWalt hammer drill, arguably the 887, 889, with a 12ah battery. It’s not about matching up the watt hours for fairness, it’s about using the best the brands have out. I hope we see this in the near future in a head to head.
Also there’s another reason why they’re not throwing shade at DeWalt. Lowe’s carries DeWalt, and it’s an exclusive big box retail carrier of the power detect, and Lowe’s will carry Flex exclusively as well. So it makes more sense to go against a competitor that is exclusively sold at Home Depot.
I noticed the same thing once they brought out the second Milwaukee. Shots fired but I’m not convinced about Flex. I’d rather get the same 24v jazz with Kobalt. Ooooooh then I’d be missing out on the turrbbbboooo button. Really men don’t need a gimmicky turbo button at work.
@@ApacheLife-50 what most don't realize is the turbo button overrides the circuitry allowing it to ramp up, but that really isn't good for the tool. So the question is, can turbo mode be used all the time with no tool or battery consequences? We all know there will be users that will push that button for everything.
Excellent point I was wondering why they didn't compare Dewalt, didn't want to compete with Makita either 😆😆😆. I do like Milwaukee and Makita tools, and I like them both
@@Tyler-zw4kq I believe that warranty is longer if you buy and register the tools in 2021. However, then you watch the @phillyfixed video, he can't get the tool registered online, OR by phone!
I thank you for viewing
Finally a RUclipsr who’s not sucking off flex for an obvious pay out
Wouldn't buy that crap anyway. Got a pile of dewalt gear. Battery platforms are hard to switch over regardless. And I use my dewalt hammer drill with a 60v flex every day drill wall ties 50 feet inna air and it never gives me trouble.
I thank you for viewing
What do you mean? The biggest Milwuakee nut hugger on youtube proved Flex was faster... they just dont have the amount of tools Milwuakee has or history. ruclips.net/video/knKvyit2hF0/видео.html
I mean this dude seems to be getting a Milwaukee pay out (could be wrong). Honestly since I don’t have a platform yet I’m getting flex for the founders warranty
LoL, never heard of this guy but it appears as though Ryobi completely owns him. Ryobi rebels sticker? Ryobi shirt? Ryobi banners? I will stick to my Makita and Milwaukee that I have used in a professional capacity for years and years.
Not going to lie though I did buy that Ryobi power scrubber for cleaning my tile floors. I am not even kidding, my wife was really surprised to see me bring home Ryobi. I've how to return two of them because they just quit working the 3rd one is still working but the second Makita or Milwaukee make a power scrubber I'm ditching the Ryobi.
Don't get me wrong you're not going to see me buying some flex impact from an infomercial.
What the heck!?! That looked like some bad late night infomercial. 😄😄
LOL!!! 😂😂😂😂😂

i think it is lol
This is by far the best video to date to come from this release. You're calling it how it is
He exposed them bad! Lol
Love this channel. No bull!
I thank you for viewing
Hahahaha Dave you’re savage! Love it! Call them out in their BS!
I thank you for viewing
U are 100% spot on with everything u said
I thank you for viewing
8:45 truth. Keeping them a similar temp and making multiple runs and using the median is what we do. A total pain on cordless tools, on air tools it's almost not even worth doing 3 runs each test. They usually do the same.
Waiting for that Flex Impact review over here TTC. If it wins on anything it needs to be from here on renamed Big Chungus.
You are the man TTC, love your videos
I have 30+ Makita battery tools. Made the choice for Makita because I can operate (impact)drills, airblowers, saws, anglegrinders and even my grassmower with one battery system. I'm not (overly) muscular nor do I have a "mean look" in my face. I just want to get things done on my small farm with one and the same platform. With minimal use of petrol. The differences between the platforms (Milwaukee, deWalt, Makita and so on) are measured in seconds, not in hours. My advice: stick to your platform and be happy.
Well said!
I thank you for viewing
That’s why people including myself like Project Farm’s video so much. You have to exclude the human part of it to test machines/tools. Like C’mon, you can clearly see the guy using Flex tools is pushing/leaning harder to give it the edge lol
I thank you for viewing
This is the only channel I'm going trust when comparing flex line to any other brands all other channels have all bin compromised.
There was some sell outs! Idk if they can be truthful anymore when it comes to a head to head because they probably got paid very well to say what they said.
I thank you for viewing
I wonder how many times they went over and practiced this so all the actors got their parts right
I thank you for viewing
America is just one big Truman show ,hahaha.
The thing is. Real pros can tell the the whole thing was rigged and the real victims are young ppl getting into the trades deciding what brand their gonna go into.
I thank you for viewing
Victims lmao. Who are you to say if the tool is good or not? There are plenty of legit videos out there showing it beating milwaukees stuff. It’s a well priced tool and until proven otherwise, can compete with the big boys. And no I don’t even own a Flex tool, but you sound like a tool with your word choice “victim” so I had to say something
honestly, by this point I think most people just tend to laugh off this type of content made by the manufacturer to glorify their own stuff - whether it's apple pretending to have innovated or flex shoving their 40000 impacts per minute in your face. If you someone falls for this cheap salesman approach it's, then the only thing they're a victim of is their own stupidity
I'm a Milwaukee fanboy myself. I find their tools work best for me. Are they perfect, no. But they fit into what I do
If it isn't makita or milwaukee I'm not touching it. As a kid I got my first drill it was a old 9 volt black and decker 20+ years old and still works but it's the drill I let the wife touch.. she touches any of my big boy toys and I'll cut her fingers off and she now's this..
I dont even own milwaukee tools and I know hands down their platform is the best.
thank you for letting us know
@@Jihadbearzwithgunz I work at a job that supplies all the tools. That sounds great, and it kinda is, until you realize they choose the tools you use. Dewalt tools are great in some people's eyes, I hate them, and that's what they force me to use. The Milwaukee tools may not have the top end performance advantage, but I like having a single charger to charge all my tools, I like the ergonomics and I like red.
@@BigInjun05 they may not have the best high end performance, but I like the tool design, the ergonomics, the working performance and that they're red. They match what I vote for
I’m also excited about these tools because there’s no doubt they are great and up there with the some of the best tools. They look more compact which is a big part. The batteries are a major thing I’m interested in. Thank you for pointing these things out. I had it on in the garage while I was fixing my garage door so I couldn’t pay as much attention to it as I would have liked
I thank you for viewing
You can obviously see them starting the Milwaukee drills after the flex and briefly letting go of the trigger to slow it down. All they are are glorified kobalts.
I thank you for viewing
That dude's face when he says "fastest, most powerful hammer drill on the market" just screams, "Now we all know thats a lie" lol 🤥😂😭
I thank you for viewing
I'm just surprised that several YT'ers have had these tools for over a week making promo vids, and 24 hours following Flex's hype train, I can't find an independent face-off anywhere.
Not true. One channel managed to buy their tools early off of Lowe’s website, and the tools didn’t impress I don’t think.
I thank you for viewing
Philly fixed did a battery tear down and some other stuff
I agree the Milwaukee was handicapped with no high output battery I also thought they were using a old brushed Milwaukee
Some of the motors sounded more like brushed motors.
It wasn't brushed, you can easily tell by the profile of the drill.
I thank you for viewing
I agree with you 100%! I watched the entire presentation and I called Bullshit almost every test. They didn't use any top line competitor models and there is no way they would've won every single competition. Nobody wins every single time. I also agree that I like the lineup, colors, options, differences, etc, but they should've been more realistic and it would've made me trust them.
I thank you for viewing
The ad might have been bad but seeing some legit test videos from project farm that placed some flex tools near the top, not necessarily beating the big 3 every time but still very good tools at a good price point convinced me to get their 6 tool combo kit. Loving them so far
Flex tools are extremely powerful. I wasn't bashing the tools in this video. I was just bashing their promo video itself. the reality is Flex wins and Flex loses, but in this video, Flex didn't just win, it slaughtered with no contest. companies finds certain tasks that it does well on and that is the test that they use.
Milwaukee does the same thing with their comparisons at their Milwaukee events every year... Paint the tools, do totally crazy tests and make outrageous claims etc DeWalt doesn't do live events anymore but when they did the tests everything was out in the open and weren't afraid to show what was what
Yes! They are guilty on that account! Fusion !
But their tools been proven to be good. We’ll see how the Flex does
@@linkstale not as good as everyone makes them out to be, Milwaukee is very good at marketing
I personally have had bad luck with Milwaukee. So I use only dewalt. But I know Milwaukee isn’t a bad company by any means. I just didn’t like the way they treated me when everything was under warranty. But I don’t think this flex shit has anything on Milwaukee or dewalt.
@@FusionBoost2.0 agreed
Why they missing the guy that says:”But wait! There is more!!!”??
Looks like a midnight infomercial

I do thank you so much for viewing :)
Yo WTF IS THAT lolllllll. I can't believe the pettiness. Safe to say I'm never investing in a FLEX tool in my life and also I'm well invested in Milwaukee. But I was wondering about them but not anymore. I can't wait until you make a proper unbiased competition between them both. Keep up the good work.
Stick with the main course, Milwaukee, Dewalt and Makita a side of Harbor Freight and add a little bit of Hilti for dessert.
Check please!
@@Tyler-zw4kq oh the our brand vs the competition has been around for years (thanks for telling), did you even watch the video? Im talking about unfair matchups and staged and doctored tests
I thank you for viewing
I knew something didn’t smell right. I don’t ever remember my Milwaukee stuff being that slow.
I thank you for viewing
When it comes out I’ll go to Lowe’s and make sure I buy a new Dewault tool instead lol.
I thank you for viewing
Check out Metabo HPT tools. My company uses DeWalt and they are trash. Had to buy some Metabo HPT tools.
I want flex to send project farm their tools but I know they know he will destroy them and not hold back
that seems to have been the general concensus of a lot of people who were watching the VCG construction live stream. which had more than double the viewers than flex's own premiere. I agree whole heartedly, get it to project farm. lets see how many of their claims are legit (not many would be my assumption lol)
I thank you for viewing
Umm yeah completely agree with you about the advertisement video there. I will wait to see them actually perform on your channel. If it's not here or project farm it didn't happen lol
I thank you for viewing
The lighting is better on the Flex side, which gives the appearance that the Flex is removing more material more quickly. The competitor drill is literally shadowed by the material. As a fan of the Kobalt xtr drill and driver, I want to like Flex. But man, this rollout wasn't impressive to me.
I thank you for viewing
Yeah Milwaukee high output batteries would have completely destroyed the flex and that’s why they didn’t use them
I thank you for viewing
If I was starting out in construction, or automotive I would look at what everyone is using at the job site, and what manufacture is not limited to a single retail establishment.
I thank you for viewing
Man I just subscribed. You keep it real dude. I’m gonna spread the word. 👍
I thank you for viewing
Notice how the "Compeditor" side drives Diagonal, and the flex straight in. Paid actors
I thank you for viewing
I’m sure they’re good tools to even TRY to attempt being competitive, but let’s face it we all have our favorite colors... I’m admittedly a Milwaukee fan and nothing could persuade me from leaving my invested battery platform. I’m sure it’s the same for Dewalt, Makita, Rigid, Kobalt, Festool, guys as well as all the other great tools out there
I thank you for viewing
I actually bought their 6 tool kit because I saw some project farm videos that placed their tools near the top, maybe not beating the top 3 every time but still very close but at a lower price
I'm glad that the gen 4 Milwaukee hammer drill was such an improvement over gen 3. Night and day difference. I totally believe the power detect hammer drill being the best, though. I have the power detect circular saw. The thing is a monster. It's tougher than a lot of corded saws I've used.
I like how you rant ..I missed the Flex premier guess I didn't miss much
I thank you for viewing
I’ve been a makita guy for 30+ yrs. started watching all of these battle videos hoping the 40v would be untouchable before i bought the kit. Flex came out and are hot! Hot looking too lol. In all the honest vids every time there’s a heat issue. I think on a job site people will be glad they get that lifetime warranty, hopefully they wear hot mitts 😂.
I went ahead and bought the 2853. And the 2719. Also a 2pack HO CP3.0’s for fun
Reminds me of a TV ad for plastic wrap back in the late 70s, touting how theirs was much more resistant to puncture than the competition's. they illustrated this by poking a finger up through a piece of each of the wraps. If you paid attention, you'd notice that when pushing on their own wrap, the fingertip was bent back so it was the fleshy pad pushing. When pushing against the competitor's wrap, the finger was pointed more straight, causing the fingernail to touch, too, not just the soft fingertip. Unsurprisingly, a sharp fingernail is MUCH better at poking through plastic wrap than a broad, soft fingertip. Whod'a thunk?
I do thank you so much for viewing :)
I always thought that milwaukee was too expensive UNTIL I bought a deepcut portable bandsaw. I have 100K of tools and it is probably my favorite tool. PLUS, when there was a problem and I wrote them they PAID POSTAGE and had it back in a couple of weeks and they replaced the cord which wasn't even the problem. I will only buy Milwaukee from now on cause I am tired of the B.S.! You want to cut stuff get one of those!
I saw a ton of the flaws in the video as well was talking to my wife we both saw the gimmick
agreed 👍👍
I’ve only watched it once, but it felt like a magic show. You couldn’t see the side they were drilling into and at times the drill bit for the flex looked like it was floating or going into something real soft or nothing at all. Nothing but illusions imo.
@@akaredcrossbow I agree
I thank you for viewing
I’m also suspicious. Anyone else notice how the other tool channels don’t speak about a Whiff of any suspicion of any kind. I haven’t seen them go anywhere near saying anything remotely negative. I’m guessing there some conficts of interest going on.
I thank you for viewing
The dewalt 3 speed hammer drill is faster than the Milwaukee even though I am a Milwaukee tool guy.I don't use the drill to drill holes I use it for drain cleaning.
Yeah and who buys a tool strictly on speed alone? I also weigh longevity, warranty, product line, innovation of the tool line, available deals... there are already some great brands of tools out there and I’d be happy with a few of them I’m sure. And honestly I welcome one more choice. But to try and boil it down to speed is best is silly.
@@RaggedsEdge For my needs I am looking for 2000 to 3000 RPM.Most all cordless drills run at 1800 - 2000 RPM. I would like to get one at 3500 rpm but I am not looking for a cheap one.So far the dewalt is faster and has more torque than my m18 drill.I was looking at the Makita 40 volt but it's dam expensive and on paper it looks better but is it really better?

I'm surprised they didn't name the button "Turbo Boost" and show it jumping out of the guys hands.
Turbo boost is such a bs name.
@@Maxb49 It sounds like a Chineezium thing to do.
Turbo? What about O-Zone y’all 🤸🏾♀️
I thank you for viewing
I also thought it was dumb how the competitor was only Milwaukee it seemed. No tool company dominates every single tool category, so they definitely should've been testing against the best of the best for each tool
I thank you for viewing
A lower level to boot.
Exactly this face off was a joke they used some of Milwaukee’s worst battery’s and midrange sawzall and the testers were obviously putting more effort into the flex tools...it was ridiculous high output battery’s would have changed almost every result.
Not necessarily changed as Flex has some battery tech that should definitely handle peak loading better, but at least made the difference less pronounced.
I thank you for viewing
When I think about it, I feel these tests should be done by consumers or prosumers. I also want to bring out another point that their xtr hammer drill actually outperformed @ protool reviews against Dewalt’s top tier, but for some reason we have users that had different results with it. It’s really hard to get consistent results nowadays.
I thank you for viewing
My favorite part of all this? All the tubers who got these tools early to show them off were all told not to give their opinion till the video👍👍👍Told me everything I needed to know.
It's called a press embargo, and is a standard practice across many industries, not just the tool world.
I thank you for viewing
Some very good points. I am curious to see how they perform in the field.
They will perform very well until the special ones for launch and the lifetime warranty are completely gone, then the 5 year warranty ones will come out and that’s when the complete junk will be produced.
@@akaredcrossbow no idea. I am always a wait until you actually use it yourself kind of guy. I know Chervon has a very good reputation from making Ego and Kobalt, among other tools, so I am going to give them the benefit of a doubt right now. Work in the field is what will really tell the tale.
@@ToolswithSoAlz agree!
@@ToolswithSoAlz I’m just worried they will sell best of the best now like most new companies do and then 6 months to a year their quality and products go downhill. But like you said need to use it, but only time will tell.
@@akaredcrossbow I think their marketing event did one thing very well. It is making people talk about what could be instead of rehashing arguments about what is. I can't recall people being more excited about a new competitor coming in and immediately calling out the King of the Hill in such a manner. I think this will help all of the manufacturers take the next step. That ultimately benefits the rest of us. That's the hope anyway.
I found your channel from The Torque Test Channel and I have to say that I just subbed because of your honesty. Many of these guys drool over these new new tools before they get them but you showed honesty and I like that👍👍

I thank you for viewing
Thank u 4 making this vid.. about half of my tools are Gen 2 and half are Gen 3 all fuel, and I gotta say.. in my case it's divided like that as no one uses one tool all day and to be honest I have never had issues with the Gen 2s.. I've only upgraded as needed due to tools walking off site etc.. I find that most of the time peoples that search for the most "powerful" tools are usually guys that don't know how to use them to begin with. It's 90% about the operator and using the right tool for the right task.. I don't use impact wrench for task that an impact driver is designed for or viscera.. and to boot just like u said, they didn't even use all fuel tools and the operators noticeably looked like they were only trying when using the flex.. was kind of comical at time.. with that said there was some features of the flex tools that did interest me.. but not enough switch...
I thank you for viewing
I also like the fact, that a linebacker size guy is using the Flex, and a field goal kicker size guy is using the Milwaukee in most of comparisons!!! 🤣🤣🤣
I thank you for viewing
And leaning in ONLY when he's got the flex.
The angle grinder bit.... Project Farm does this same test and the MKE cuts rebar in 6 seconds average.. In that challenge, it takes 12 seconds, hahaha
Flex had the chance to really FLEX on the competition by only offering batteries with 21700 cells. just sayin lol. Also I like how you pointed out that they switched between using the brushless Milwaukee over to the fuel version. Kind of reminds me of the Chevy commercials comparing their trucks to ford using the aluminum how they were cheesy as hell.
Hard to fit enough 21700's in there to hit 24V and reach the Ah rating, agreed it was a lost opportunity to come out the gates with it though
Wouldn’t be surprised if several ex-GM people were behind this bologna. Or at the very least the advertising firms that were behind GM.

Great video, Man Caver. When I watched the flex 'info mercial' I was wondering why they didn't actually tell everyone the competitor tool (manufacturer, model number, battery configuration, etc.). I knew they were hiding something, and you confirmed my suspicion. They found the best tool that Flex could beat (not necessarily the best tool on the market today). Thank you for another enjoyable, informative, video. You keep making them, I'll keep watching.

Here is the thing though. Hardcore Milwaukee fans are in straight up denial. Some of them literally believe that all their tools are the best tools in the market bar none, no exceptions.
They believe that the 2804 will out perform a DCD998. Or a even hilti.
I think that's one reason why they went against Milwaukee. Milwaukee is the most common and the fanboys think they're the greatest thing in the world. Meanwhile everyone else knows that's not the case

A lot of it seemed like it was missing context so badly. I really want you, Tool Test Raw, Project Farm, and others to run Flex products versus the gold standards of the competition. Intentionally operating them differently was another thing that affected the outcomes. Don’t get me wrong, Chervon can put out a great product but the mystery “competition” wasn’t run the same.

We all knew they would pull something like this. Every company has their crazy marketing tactics. But all the marketing in the world won’t win them a market share if their tools can’t take it or if they don’t commit to their line. In the end competition breeds innovation so I’ll look to my brand [Dewalt] to roll with the punches and keep bringing out better stuff. Keep up the content man, you’re doing great.

Be dewalt made same shit videos few years ago when they compare to Makita drill;)
Great video! Thanks for your impressions!

Milwaukee has never let me down in 40 years . i could hear the torque limiter hitting on the spade drill test
I thank you for viewing :)
I’m glad you did this

Good call with the rant video. It’s hard to notice, especially if you’re just watching for the first time. But flex did sandbag it for their stuff. Which makes sense. But it would have been nice if they didn’t and just ran a fair test.
It reminds of when Chevy was ripping on Ford for switching to the aluminum beds and Chevy was dropping rocks and cinder blocks into the beds. There was a clear shot of a cinder block landing on a corner in the Chevy bed and punching a giant hole in the bed. The camera cuts and suddenly the hole is gone in the Chevy bed and the blocks are arranged in a slightly different way. People just want to see how it actually performs and will be disappointed when it doesn’t live up to the hype

I agree My dewalt power detect is a beast of a hammer drill especially on impacts per minute
The DCD998? Definitely one of the top hammer drills out there if not the best.
@@ecoRfan yes the power detect dewalt hammer drill is the DCD998 the flexvolt advantage hammer drill is the same just pushed for the flexvolt it works with regular 20v batteries as well that is the DCD999 they are both beasts

I agree those are not real world test. It's up to us youtubers show everyone how these tools really perform. Great video man! 📹 👍👌👍
But not the ones that may have been paid to promote Flex tools. Idk if they can be trusted anymore.
@@akaredcrossbow I just purchased my flex tools hopefully I'll have a video out this weekend if I get them in time run them against dewalt and milwaukee.
@@toolhead147 I will be checking out your video.
Thank you!

wait!!! whow! to be fair!!! im not a flex fan i know nothing about them but spade bits augers and such bits with larger circumference you should not push the bit hard.... if you push the bit hard you can stall, backfeed, or slow the bit. slowing the bit is bad because the speed is what kicks out the chips. if your chips are not ejected efficiently you will add more work for the drill..... so if you can push hard as hell and not stall or backfeed and win a race your drill has more torque to go with speed.... this is a sign of a good drill! strait solid bits are the only thing you want to push hard ish. like a hammer drill if you push to hard you can nullify its hammering function... pushing on the drill is what is to be done just not so hard you limit hammer travel and place a lot of the tools work in your soft fleshy arms. regular drill bits can drill faster the harder you push. you have to watch your speed because speed is heat and heat is dull. fasteners is the best test for speed because the only danger of hard or fast, is loss of control of fastener.
SCIENCE lol
the 1 thing i will say if test are not done with weights, pullies, cantilevers and tracks you cant create repeatable fair test because a man with skill can beat a man with strength and a man with strength can beat a novice. so if a veteran of 30 years gets up there to compete with a novice his skill with a garbage drill will win vs a super tool in a novice hands..... you need a fair measure test
I will wait for your reviews on FLEX!

I can confirm that the 3.0 HO Milwaukee battery does, in fact outperform the entry level 5.0 amp/hr battery. I have both and I use them in my leaf blower. I get a little more run time from the 3.0 than the 5.0 on the same yard, every time I do the comparison. I've also done a comparison in my 7 1/4 inch framing circular saw. The 5.0 lasts a day and a half, the 3.0 well into two days, no sweat.

Then there are Ryobi guys over here going 😒 on day they will both be on our level 😂
That bad? Nah...
😉😁

This isn't a new technique by companies, in any market or industry. It's also why I look to RUclips for real people using the real tools, and with real experience instead of tailor-made situations that are gussied up by people solely intent on marketing.

1. You flexed on Flex in this video.
2. 8:11, thank God I wasn't drinking anything, you literally made me laugh out loud with your comment.
3. Cannot wait to see your future tests/content!

Thing is you buy the battery platform not the tool. Tools change all the time and you often need a wide variety of tools, I have M12 tools for wrenching (impacts, ratchets) due to size and Makita 18v tools for woodworking (Milwaukee doesn't make a track saw AFAIK) and larger tools because that's the 18v platform I settled on. I doubt that Flex is going to have even a kinda complete tool line....

Honestly, I was excited to see something new on the market to compete with dewalt and Milwaukee. Competition drives creativeness. But watching them hamstring Milwaukee shows me they're afraid of Milwaukee and don't have as much faith in their tools as they would want you to believe. What a shame
I bet you might see a lot more tool companies including anti vibration in their tools unless it’s just another gimmick that will break in no time.
@@akaredcrossbow there is a good chance that if it's not gimmicky that a lot of tool companies do look at implementing it. I'm all for growing. But the way they went about this video was shady

Listen as a Milwaukee fan I’ve tried them all but it’s the reliability of Milwaukee that keeps me with the I have some ancient Milwaukee tools that still work and truth be told they’ll probably outlast me

Hahaha these rigged tests are too funny. There is a sucker born everday though

12:36 - depends on what cutting disk you are using. Some cheaper disks are wearing more than it is cutting metal after applying more pressure.
Finnaly a RUclips not sponsor by flex tool as they say in Italy DAJE CAZZO
Milwaukee is best not flex

I feel like all the hype flex tools are getting is a bunch of bs, when I heard about them I wasn't excited, my reaction was that the tools don't look like anything special. These test video from flex are complete doctored bs, the tools are probably ok, but I feel they are probably no better than mid-range Ryobi, Rigid or Kobalt. I'm look forward to seeing proper testing in MCT garage. I can say this, I feel like I won't be investing in flex tools. I'm pretty happy with my Makita, Milwaukee and DeWalt tools that I already have.
