Recently got the hammer drill/impact/7.25 circular saw stacked lithium combo and have been super impressed. Going to put them to good use remodeling my house lol. Actually took back the Ryobi set I had after I tried that one. Just no comparison at all. at 12:05 you tried the ryobi HP drill, that drill is WAY more powerful than what you showed in your video, it was not very strong because you were using REGULAR battery in a HP tool, in order to get the full power out of the dill you need to use a HP battery because the ryobi drill is designed to be used with HP batteries. it has almost triple the power with the HP battery, i own one and its stronger than my gen 3 milwaukee m18 fuel hammer drill lol
Thanks for the tip and I had a suspicion that would be the case. Hopefully well get the stacked lithium batteries to test with these Flex tools and I may buy an HP battery and give the Ryobi another chance. Thanks for watching!
If I can be honest, I tried the quick eject impact at Lowes and hated the trigger. Felt sloppy with very little control. It does seem powerful, though.
Hey Patrick! Very small runout with a fresh bit but not enough for concern or to mention. I need to make a jig for testing drill runout and when that happens I’ll go back and check all the drills I’ve already reviewed. Thanks for watching!
Didn’t know Lowes was scarce in Canada. I have 2 Lowes not to far here in but the traffics bad and I rarely get over there. Strange these aren’t in more stores though, not even available on Amazon. Thanks for watching!
Didn’t know that either. HF sells a lot of junk but they’ve started getting they’re act together last few years. I own quite a few tools, trailer, generator from there. Lately I’ve slowly been buying Icon tools to see if they will replace the made in USA craftsman tools that don’t exist anymore. Got the Hercules table saw in the shop for testing and Icon 73 inch.tool box on order for delivery next month. I’ve never understood why the US and Canada don’t have identical stores. Never researched it but taxes/politics/regulations would be my guess?
Don't get me wrong, they look nice but the price is an issue. The Porter Cable set that I have invested in has lasted years now at a much lesser cost. Even today they are much less expensive, purchased an extra 1/2 inch drill and reciprocating saw as a spare but have never had to use them as the originals are like the energizer bunny. I use them hard. I'm sure they will find an audience for their tools.
The tool market has gotten so competitive there really are good options at every price point. It's been great for us consumers for sure. Well get to Porter Cable eventually. Thanks for watching!
@@ProjectsForAllReviews No worries on showing Porter Cable, it's just Black & Decker +. All the tools work fine but nix the 6" circular saw. < it's junk. Bought that same combo on Ebay and like a seen from Jason the horror came in in black goo leaking from all batteries. Called Flex and since I bought them online and not Lowes they will not replace them. Problem is that they did not make it public about their horrible battery crisis and they ONLY helped people that would call in so f*&^* everyone else who did not call in because they didn't know about flex replacing the bad batteries. Replacement batteries are very expensive, I just bought be a drill with cord instead for $40.
That's crazy but not the first time Ive heard of this from a viewer. I have three regular Flex batteries, two 5ah and one 2.5ah and haven't had trouble with them and I use them a lot. This Flex set has become my go to large drill and driver. Sorry to hear. Thanks for watching!
The Ryobi isn’t even in the same league. The most powerful Ryobi HP is only rated at 750 inch pounds, but that’s an exaggerated number because the gen 3 M12 fuel tested as powerful. I think these comparisons and comments do help the average person decide whether or not the tool will suit their needs.

Hey Patrick! Very small runout with a fresh bit but not enough for concern or to mention. I need to make a jig for testing drill runout and when that happens I’ll go back and check all the drills I’ve already reviewed. Thanks for watching!
@@ProjectsForAllReviews not a bad video idea! Thanks for the input. :)
Have you had any issues with the batteries leaking?
Nope. No issues with the batteries at all. Thanks for watching!
@@ProjectsForAllReviews It’s crazy how random the issue seems to be.
That giant Diablo bit looks like a light-saber when it's going full speed.
I’m not going to lie to you, that occurred to me too. Figured I wouldn’t give ppl bad ideas! 🤣Thanks for watching!
They don't sell Flex in the UK
Would've liked to see at least 2 lag bolts at normal speed to see how long it takes to put one in
I use these 2 tools as a truck tech every day. Cant say enough about the power and build quality
I agree. These are very legit pro grade tools. Thanks for watching!
Not until they actually have them in store at more then 12 locations lol, also Lowes barley exists in Canada.
Didn’t know Lowes was scarce in Canada. I have 2 Lowes not to far here in but the traffics bad and I rarely get over there. Strange these aren’t in more stores though, not even available on Amazon. Thanks for watching!
@@ProjectsForAllReviews harbor freight doesn't exist here so It gets really annoying when everything from there wins comparisons lmao
@@ProjectsForAllReviews that and we also have like 3 hardware stores that nobody wants already lmao
RONA is owned by Lowe's and carry these tools.
I truly wish any of these brands represented their parents, they don't. We are still in a good place with good tools to choose from. Most of them work, price is the consideration for the home owner and the mid range shop.
You're comparing porter cable (varsity league) to flex (pro league). That's the confusion
@@collin1463 They are both good tools, being I could have three of one as apposed to one of one, I will take the three. With the Porter Cable I have which is just B&D made to a certain spec, Flex adds exterior embellishments which is nice but not needed. No this is not a game, they are both tools that work well at home and I say professionally. I have put them to task with zero issues. Batteries I go 3rd party with zero disappointments so far. Always buy what you feel comfortable with price and duty wise. No ding against Flex I'm sure it is a good tool.
It's silly using the impact driver on the 7" lags when the drill is sitting right there. That's the drills job
How these holding up? Also a "Longevity Flex Tools" videos In the works...
Kayu renyah, coba kalo di indonesia kayunya keras bos😂
Kayu yang diperlakukan hijau. Biasanya sangat basah sulit dan keras pada alat power. Terima kasih telah menonton!
Notice how he keeps stoping, and impact driver goes off screen often?... thats cause hes got 2 of each tool! ..Flex paid for that..😊
You caught me William! That’s a good idea though, maybe I should ask for two of everything! 🤣 🤔
Impact Nation uses these on a daily basis, so he can tell you about the endurance.
Thanks for watching Dave!
Flex is better then Milwaukee
when grease comes out, FLEX tools have to better. also, this will affects the longevity of this tool
It’s not but I like to throw in other tools for an unofficial comparison
@@ProjectsForAllReviews I’m going to edit my original comment.
Flex tools are awesome but then of course they are. They are a Deutsche Firma. And I think the prices for them are fair.
