I don't think you can name just one the "best". Different sounds, different time periods etc... Stones are in top 10 no doubt. Others in my opinion: WHO, Zeppelin, Allmans, Skynyrd, AC/DC, Pink Floyd, Rush and the list goes on.. Skynyrd was just hitting their stride with Street Survivors, their best record. Who knows what would have been if no crash. Stones best music was late 60's to early 70's. I lived that.
