A few months later he wrote this song, Outside, and made this video, which was released in October 1998, in which he basically says "F... you cops and authorities for your hypocrisy. I'm a human being and have the right to be who I want to be". He surely made his point. The song says it all. He basically didn't give a f... about the incident, and this video and the song even made him more popular.

I was very fortunate to see him in concert at the Wembley stadium in London, he was a great dancer and performer. There were also a lot of entertainers and celebrities who also came to watch him as fans and everyone was dancing and singing along like a huge party. I hope he's found peace away from the pain he endured before his passing, gone but never forgotten, RIP.

My mum is a HUGE George Michael fan and I was more of a grunge rock guy but when he released this song and just poked fun at himself I immediately admitted to my ma that she picked wisely in her choice of favourite musical artist. Also his cameo in Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchants Extras when he came on smoking a spliff with a kebab in hand. There's also the amount of money he would regularly give to charity anonymously which only really came out after he'd left us.
He's someone who definitely deserves the Hollywood movie treatment that Freddie got.
