It's now been nine days since his death and I've cried every night when I go to sleep. I love his voice more than any other's. It's a voice of an angel. Perfect live singing, not just in studio. I knew his music since I was a kid in the late 80's & early 90's. I've loved Wham and his solo work since. I saw him live in 2007. He didn't sing this song in that concert. I had a dream I would someday see him in a live performance and he would sing this. That dream I had to give up. I'm heartbroken, devastated and sadder than I ever been after any musician or even a close person of mine who has died. At moments I think I can't take this. Thanks to anyone who read this.

Now, we know that his behaviours were a cry for help, not simple symptoms of rock and roll excess. Excellent covers! And as usual, George's voice is amazing. It's the 90's transitioning to the 70's with perfection. I've listened to this song maybe 100 times and the horn section, string arrangements, the beat and the bass line. For me, this will never get old. George, thank you. Your voice and your songs with Wham! and as a solo artist have always been (and forever will be) the best medicine in my moments (and I still go through those moments today) of despair, loneliness and lovelessness. The fucking rotten British tabloids always hounded you but after the arrest, it got much worse. Rupert Murdoch, was the main architect in making sure you were harrassed 24/7, 365 with his tabloid in the UK, The Sun and The New York Post, his tabloid in the US. In the span of 8 years, you took on Sony, you lost your first true love to AIDS and you also lost your mom to cancer. Then you went through hell living with Kenny's alcoholism. Despite all that pain, you kept on giving us beautiful music until the very end. And yes, we had to wait a couple of years for your next album but the wait was always worth it. Thanks again George. You are not gone. You just went home. You are free.

I am as sad and heartbroken as everyone else.I cry everyday. I'm glad we get to hear him and see him on u tube. It helps a little to be able to see and hear him sing to us. that man I grew up with from the 80s and so on to his solo career.. He also gives you his life in his music....I love and miss him so much it's crazy to miss someone so much that wasn't family. we were only 3 years apart in age. we will see him in heaven. Until the good Lord takes me home. I will listen to him everyday . Dena B

George was an amazing man. It's the ultimate tragedy that more did not realize that he had such a tortured, grief stricken soul.
Now, we know that his behaviours were a cry for help, not simple symptoms of rock and roll excess.
Would that we could go back and be help mates, instead of laughing off his waking in a car inebriated! We lost such a beautiful soul. We lost a talent that spanned the ages. A talent that united generations in dance, love, and peaceful gatherings full of joy and adulation.
My sadness over the death of George Michael knows no bounds.
