Hey man, you've made the worst decision by formatting your PS3. I have tried this mod out on HEN, and yes it did get bricked. But my PS3 booted into safe mode and all I had to do was reinstall the HFW from my USB flash drive. Since you have to plug your controller into the USB slot, the PS3 recognizes the controller as a "USB" so while the PS3 is searching for a firmware on your flash drive, the problem is the system will accidentally read the controller USB instead of your flash drive. As soon as the system searches for a firmware update, just unplug your PS3 controller's USB charger from the port.

Don’t blame him for something you clearly did wrong. I’ve used hen before and used this exact turorial and I never bricked my console.
Bricked means your console acts like a brick, if you can still reformat it and use it u mightve just corrupted it, not brick

I had that problem too. Download managunz and try to launch games from there. It improves the quality a lot.

Check file system, and rebuild database, your files are probably corrupted.
And make sure you load PS and PS2 games on Multiman.

if your on CFW it could be your CFW, if it's HEN maybe try rebuild database
