- I put an apple CarPlay head unit in my old 2003 Toyota Corolla. The set up works pretty well as long as I use the USB for apple CarPlay. The radio was provided by Seicane: bit.ly/3zTx4Bq

wow seeing an all black interior has me rethinking my entire cabin lol
I gotta do something to mine and this inspired me, awesome vid
Awesome update
I am about to do this in a few days
Hey man, I had a question regarding your video about the Toyota Corolla installed with Car Play Mechanism, I was wondering if you purchased the 4-Core or 8-core from Seicane. I'm still contemplating on which is the best option, I was hoping you can shed some light on this, like which did you choose and how your experience was with it
You are right, the wireless CarPlay is kind of buggy. Even connecting to Bluetooth is too. What kind of usb do I need to make it wired? Also do I need to connect to the Bluetooth before the wired method works?
Do you have a link for the speakers as well??
where did you get the head unit? will any of them fit with your corolla, or only this specific one?
Do you have the link for the speakers?
Where do I find my 2007 Toyota Corolla CarPlay port? I can’t find any. I like to connect to car play. I have just recently installed the headset .
What is the size of front and rear speaker
my radio only has one plug in in the back do you know wiring harness kit needed?
Hi, how long does it to boot up from Off to Acc? Some Android units take 70 seconds to boot so by the time you start the car and put in reverse and you still don't have backup camera display.
Hello, can you post the link of the speakers you got? It sounds awesome
How do you take out the radio to paint it? I accidentally got the Grey one as well 🤦🏽♂️
where can I buy that radio? can you help me friend
What if i want to add a back up camera
My friend how much the price of same this car in USA?
Hi again, hope you are doing great. As a car enthusiast to a car enthusiast, I've been thinking about the question every rational person asks himself: "Why BMW 530i E39(an example of something you really like) and not a Corolla, Camry or Civic?". What do you think about this topic? I couldn't make myself out from it.
Hi
My screen is set up but can hear from the speaker when music is on
im wondering if you could also install a backup camera with it. Will it work?
Yes
Is the wiring easy can u put a cam in rear
Is the wireing harness already in tied to the usb port. Or is that something i gotta do?
Yes it’s just plug and play
Will this fit a 2002 corolla?
I have a 2006 Toyota Corolla, will that fit? And if so does that vent piece come with it or do I buy it somewhere else and where? Sorry for all the questions but I want to get it.
The vent piece had to be reused when installing the new radio. But you will ned an fascia adapter for the radio to make it look and fit good.
@@patrick_jdm is there a way to attach a backup camera as well?
@@sasankgamini4031 Can be installed, for sure. Just an intense wiring job.
@@patrick_jdm will any backup camera be able to connect to this screen or do I need to buy a specific camera that works with this screen
my radio only has one plug in in the back do you know wiring harness kit needed?
231? I got mine for 109
The number of missed calls and messages is giving me anxiety. 🥴
The biggest con is not being able to play CDs
231$ unit? Ughhhh not sure if it's worth it for a beater car
I mean I would say it is. It modernizes the beater car
I’ve seen similar for 300+ and tbh, it beats buying a modern car JUST for small shit like this
@@tenochmartinez7005 or you can buy an FM transmitter that plugs into the cig lighter
The car is a beast and will get you from a to b . I think it’s a good upgrade
Looking at a 8 core 4gb 720p display one it’s model justnavi QT10 for like $165 I will test it and let you know. Really going to be carplay screen but wanted AM radio and the wired / wireless carplay options. Double the ram is like 100 extra bucks might not be necessary if you only plan to use the car play. However 1280x720 screen resolution should be much better than 1024x600 or whatever it is
