    Excellent real world "honest" review of these two products. I've been using 582 for the past year. I was one of the viewers on your 584 video asking for a comparison between these two products. (I'm located in South FL) What I've found is that 582 lasts anywhere from 2 to 3 months. (White vehicle stays outside) At 3 months it is pretty much done. I now detail my vehicle every 6 weeks so longevity isn't an issue. IMHO I really don't see any other benefit purchasing 584 so I'm gonna stay with the 582! Thanks again for this video! Your channel ROCKS!

    Hello,
    Thank you for this demonstration. It's great to see people performing similar testing to what we do both internally and in the field with our customers.
    The addition of graphene does add more product benefits versus the standard TEC582 Ceramic Detail Spray. Users of the G-Max should see increased levels of shine, slickness, and overall surface protection. Based on your video we would like to highlight a few things:
    1. Panels should be sprayed directly, not the towel itself.
    2. Most panels only need a couple passes with the microfiber towel to wipe through/light buff.
    3. We recommend allowing 24 hours for both products to fully cure.
    The most important thing to take away from the G-Max products is that water beading does not equal protection. We understand water beading is demonstrable, but true surface protection does not always equal water beading.
    Thank you

    • @luckypaco1148
      @luckypaco1148 2 года назад +1

      How do you measure protection? curious to understand the measurable standards / equipment that is used . As you can imagine most consumers don't have lab equipment, so we go by the water beading test, which I agree with you it's not accurate, but it's the best the average consumer has.

    • @reeb9016
      @reeb9016 2 года назад +1

      @@luckypaco1148 Not necessarily. Brian at Apex Detail has two similar products as far as protection but one beads and one sheets. It's a preference really. Sheeting tends to be agreed is better for the paint due to less water spotting. Beading is more an aesthetic thing that is enjoyable.

    • @luckypaco1148
      @luckypaco1148 2 года назад

      @@reeb9016 Unfortunately that's an urban myth, sheeting requires A LOT of water, most afternoon showers, sprinklers or water splashes don't produce the volume of water necessary to generate enough sheeting to be superior to beading. I first started using the 582 2 years ago. That stuff is amazing! I'm also a fan of their aqua glow too. I unfortunately live in a state that has lots of snow during winter. I do what I need to in order to keep the chassis protected with LOTS of fluid film black in the fall. I also do one last big detail right before it starts getting cold and nasty out. Anyway, I noticed with 582 on top of the technicians choice ceramic coating my car will bead all winter long. Absolutely a huge fan of their products.

      I'm in the same boat, about 4-6 weeks durability on the Tec582. It's so easy to apply and remove that a few more weeks of durability isn't important to me since I wash my vehicles regularly. Based upon the price, I find the 582 a better value, especially when you can get it on sale for $32/gal.
      The thing I can think of where the 584 might be better is for a detailer doing a maintenance wash for a customer and they want to add a topper for a little extra hydrophobicity and slickness for the customer. The Tec582 will already do this, but supposedly the 584 will last a little longer.

As far as wheel cleaners, you have again, many choices, maybe try PRO Products Wheelie Clean( I like it’s dilution ratios) but the above mentioned companies also have plenty to offer for wheels as well. @@frelmar I appreciate your facts even though it won’t change anything. 582 is very good and cheaper and cleaner to use.

      we use 3 to 1 and it works very well.

    I would like to contact you personally, but not sure how to... I've not uploaded anything yet, but I have a guy that knows how to edit at least now... Would you be into doing a co-op with you using tech choice ceramic coating, me doing tech choice graphing coating? Not a competition, but a comparison, independently? Will use my own car, which needs a TON of Correction prior

      I appreciate it but after thinking about it, I’m not really interested in ceramic coatings. I have about 20 sitting here that everyone sends me and I have no desire to use them.

    No clue either of them, as I have never seen or heard of them here in Finland, but in some test on youtube the Tec 582 was a let down, so I'll say G-max is better. Edit: And thanks for the great videos!

    Great video. What you may or may not know the 582 adds a layer of flame retardant to the car. Just wait till one day your wife pisses you off and you go to torch her car with some gas and blow torch and it won’t light. So not sure if putting this on is a good thing or not atleast on the wife’s car.
