Great episode. It’s so clear now why Bitsie plays a great Lois. She absolutely is that smart and capable as a journalist. Also her and Tyler have severely underrated Mom and Dad voices when they yell or have to be stern with the kids 😂
I absolutely love Bitsie Tulloch. I was so happy to hear that she and David got married, especially after what happened to their characters on Grimm. I never liked Adalind.
I agree and disagree! I actually ended up liking Nick and Adalind together It showed the maturity on both. But I do also dislike how they made Juliet insane when the other Hexanbeasts are kinda Normal.
@@lucasromerova6150 falling in love on set with someone else you are not paired with is not uncommon. It happens all the time, Pitch Perfect and Pitch Perfect 2, Anna Kendrick and this other actor paired but he fell in love with the blonde that was giving her a hard time getting into the group. Supergirl, Melissa Benoist falling in love with her co-Star playing the other superhero and they got married after meeting each other on set. And this will be the other example. There is a lot of affairs going on that is why they keep quiet and make sure they are not jealous of their new girl.
I love that Bitsie and David got together in real life! I love it when people meet on the job and fall in love like The Charmings on Once Upon a Time! I so want Grimm to come back!!!
I agree with Bitsie about passing the baton on Lois. I am bummed that Superman and Lois was cut shorter than the original plan. But I am happy that we get to see another iteration of Superman and Lois in the DCU. I think Gunn will start a good universe with these characters.
Great episode, I think Bitsie's version of Lois was awesome, her performance is so natural and on point. She has been my fav. Lois in the last few years.
I'm from MA and when you say you went to school in Cambridge, I think of M I T. Harvard is not the only university in Cambridge. but if you're not from here it's the one you think of.
Starbuck we love you and we love Louis/Juliette. Noboy has an hour to watch you lovely podcasts. Can you please break them up? Think like a Jedi Lightsaber into a Tie Fighter. This is the way.
I loved Grimm but I think the show could've really been helped if Greenwalt brought in more talent from Buffy the way they did casting Alexis Denisof in a guest starring recurring role.
The reason why it’s going 4 seasons instead of 7 is because the CW network was sold to Nexstar and Nexstar with their Cheap Ass new ownership decided because of cost cutting measures to save the network money was to Cut all of the DC shows and their others shows and basically air news programming and other Super Boring things that no one is interested in watching
Bitsie Tulloch is arguably the best Lois Lane. She embodies the character so well and her chemistry with Tyler is amazing. Superman and Lois is one of my favorite DC comics shows and it's because the cast is so great
I do have a question regarding being on a "booking hold" for a year or 18-months. During this time are you paid? Sorry to be so dense, but I'm assuming, you are paid, which is why it's worth it to be on a booking hold. I'm just wanting to understand the process.
This is a great question but it needs a complex answer. I’ll talk about this on one of our upcoming hindsight’s because I think it’s something people who aren’t in the industry might find interesting.
@KateeSackhoffOfficial thanks! I REALLY love your Podcast, ESPECIALLY now that you've got video back. Love watching the interactions between you and your guests. Can't wait for your next project. Been a BIG (6'5", 250#), fan, ever since you were in The Education of Max Bickford!!
Dear Katee -- You are a naturally talented actor which makes you something of a rara avis these days. In my opinion, you need not bother with Adler, Meisner, Stanislavski unless you plan a major change in direction and seek to work only in The Theatre doing characters written by Checkov, Ibsen and O'Neill. Compare movies from the 1930s to those of the 1950s and you'll see a definite change in acting styles. Up to you where you feel most comfortable. Me, I'm happy with both, but for different reasons.
That cancer storyline was so powerful and so helpful. A coworker is dealing with the same and I was encouraging them to watch Season 3. My two favorite ladies (having met both of you at cons) gave a great conversation. This was a great episode.
I just hope that Superman And Lois ends on a high note. Smallville started spectacularly and went downhill in the last four seasons (similar to Dexter) and had a very unsatisfying finale (also like Dexter).
Tyler has set a high bar with his portrayal of Superman. His channeling of Christopher Reeve is amazing and never comes off as a cheap copy ,but as a heartfelt version of a legend.
Bitsie’s performance in season 3 was so powerful. I found myself thinking I would have watched a show with just her storyline. I’ve seen it up close from family like so many people and I salute her - she hit it HARD. ❤
I loved Grimm and still do rewatches. I honestly wish Bitsie would have gotten more time to play Juliette when she was evil! I thought she did the villain role so well.
Great episode. I have never watched anything with Bitsie but found the interview interesting. I may look at watching Grimm after re watching/introducing my son to Battlestar. Honestly hindsight and mailsack are my favorite part of the podcast
Fallujah is Iraq Mate, not Afghan. With regards to Military people relating to BSG - I think many related the Galactica as essentially an Aircraft Carrier in space, so many military could relate to that sort of environment - regardless of being Navy, Air force or Army - IMHO.

Same. Once they turned his wife into an evil caricature I lost interest in the show. Which sucked because up till then it was awesome.

Katee is so genuine and loving to her fans. I can't praise her enough. So much talent on every show she is a part of.

Yes Katee I am here in Palo Alto our large work place avoids hiring Stanford grads at all costs. The name is the only qualifier.
Continously is my word. Love the show ty!
I hope I get up early enough.
I just watched a short where Katee said she makes her dad sign NDAs ..bwahaahaa!!! That's cute. 🤗
OMG. I have the hardest time spelling Restaurant. LOL Love the show Katee. Keep up the great work.
Real talk, we love Jeff. Hope he knows the people out here appreciate him
Nice to hear that you grew up in Portland,Oregon. I live south of Portland down by Salem.

Oh I love her show. Even though it's TV they have told some of the best Superman stories yet to be out on film. I hate to see it end so soon.

@KateeSackhoffOfficial ... I'm non-industry fan but IMMEDIATELY wanted to hear the pros, cons and horror stories from you or others on this topic.
A great interview with Bitsie ,really enjoyed it. Katee any chance you might come over to the UK for a convention sometime ?

Another awesome conversation 😊
Awesome guest!!! Can't wait to hear the episode. She's been a hell of a Lois.🎉🎉🎉
Bitsie is such a babe!
Thanks so much Katee. Always interesting :)
Bitsie is stunning. My 2nd favourite Lois tied with Erica Durance. 1st will always be Margot Kidder.
That cancer storyline was so powerful and so helpful. A coworker is dealing with the same and I was encouraging them to watch Season 3. My two favorite ladies (having met both of you at cons) gave a great conversation. This was a great episode.
Another great podcast, Katee! I don't think you've had Jamie Bamber (Apollo) on yet. That would be awesome!
Great episode. Definitely love the actress and the roles. More of Bitsie in the future please!
I just hope that Superman And Lois ends on a high note.

My word is library. I don't pronounce the first r.
How typical. Every time new executives come in they trash successful shows to make room for their own "hits". It's not always about ratings.

LOL! Katee's of the Jar-Jar tongue humor.
LOVE both these ladies & have followed them from their beginnings...such grace in handling something so hard for fans
I loved Grimm and still do rewatches. I honestly wish Bitsie would have gotten more time to play Juliette when she was evil! I thought she did the villain role so well.
By word I can never spell is because, thank goodness for spell check
Conscious is my word. I have to look it up every time i need to write it.
I'm 45 and I still pronounce the L in salmon.
As and Has i always put them down wrong
Thanks a bunch!

Grimm is a great show, you should definitely give it a watch, especially with older kids. My teen son and I loved it.

What a great and fun interview with Bitsie! So down-to-earth and conversational. Than you Ladies! Bravo!
