Good job guys!that hike is no joke!Me and my family rode atvs up there.There's old mines right off the trail along the ridges.Miners used to walk up there from town everyday to work the mines.

That was a fun video. The hike was worth the view. I'm still amazed at the views we can get now with the drones. Showing an area is so much more complete now. Awww, the dogs were so cute and sweet. Glad you made the bus - but like Hillary said, there's plenty of places to sleep and it doesn't cost a fortune.
When in San Sabastian you have to go to Hacienda Jalisco it's where the old mine is, walk down the river 15 minutes west of town.

You guys didn't hike back down. You rode down in that white Lexus with a sunroof that was parked at the Mirador. "La Tortuga" really had me bustin' up for a long time.
We went to San Sebastian on the tour bus from Vallarta in 2016. I am surprised that you actually found somewhere to stay as there didn't seem to be much lodging when we were there. It was nice for a day trip but I'm not sure I could have found much to do for longer than that.
