***Jajaja LOL*** You guys sharing your first experience outside the Tourist area reminded me of when my brother visited Mexico for the 1st time. I was living in Cancun at the time and my brother always had the interest of coming to Mexico but because of the negative news he had cancelled multiple trips to Mexico. Once I was living there he thought what a perfect opportunity to visit México. Well his first two nights he was so scared and panicked that he move the sofa to the cover the front door. He actually slept on that couch in case someone wanted to break the door down 🤣...Now he is coming 3 times a year and thinking about eventually moving to live in Mexico. He still only travels with me but I have taken him to the majority of cities or towns in Quintan Roo including Belize. Also took him to la capital San Luis Potosí, Guanajuato and Michoacán. Many positive culture shocks! He was amazed on how much better Mexico was fronting Covid vs USA.

Adventure galore! due to the less than great condition of the car and my inability to drive a stick shift well, we discovered the most kind and generous people i have ever met ANYWHERE! Mascota really holds a special place in my heart. If i ever meet you guys, and i might if you come to Jaltemba bay this winter, I'll tell you the whole story. Love your videos.

I am not a big city person. I also don't like heat and humidity so I am looking at the central mountain areas. I love nature, hiking, rivers, lakes, wildlife rather than a park in a big city. Amigos, the agave genus contains some 200 species and raicilla is made of one of the many species. Most Mexicans lived in the USA, at one time or another, so they’re very usted to seeing güeros. Having said that, you need to be careful no matter where you are… Whether you visit Manhattan or Mascota, Jalisco. Take care and enjoy Mexico as new Mexican residents. I always like to tell amigos, be safe and stay healthy!
I never been in Mascota, but my wife was born in there, and She talk to me a lot about her home town, and is true is a beautiful town. Thanks Gregg and Hillary.

Thank you for showing this video of my beautiful Mascota. Mascota and its people are beautiful. Your video brought tears to my eyes. I miss Mascota, I grew up there and have lots of friends there. I go there and visit them once o some times twice a year. I wish I could live there. Now I live in the U. S. When in high school there, I had a girlfriend from Yerbabuena; have very good friends there too. If you ever go back there and if I happen to be there I'll be your guide 🙂 or hire a uber and ask them to take you to La Presa, try the fish, shrimp or the Tacos Dorados there mm delicious 😋 In Yerbabuena there's a restaurant called "El Pujido" they only open Saturdays and Sundays, food there is also delicious. In Mascota go and buy some Tortas at Loncheria Ede or Ivone, drive throug Yerbabuena and go to Navidad, in Navidad try the ice cream from there. Then from there go to Laguna de Juanacatlan or Sierra Lago ( I don't know who's idea was to change the name to Sierra Lago but any ways..) In Sierra lago camp there or stamp there enjoy the beautiful landscape while you eat your tortas at noon from loncheria Ede or Ivone. You can retury to Mascota in the evening. So many places I can tell you but I will not end writing my suggestions in days! Thanks again and God bless.
The Mexican state of Jalisco is located in northwestern Mexico. This state is famous as the birthplace of mariachi, tequila and Mexico's national sport, charreria (Mexican rodeo). It's home to the second largest city in the country, Guadalajara, as well as one of the best-loved beach destinations, Puerto Vallarta.
Hola. Just thought about this, since you’re visiting the Pueblo Mágico of Mascota, that you probably have several other title holders that you haven’t visited. So, I gotta strongly suggest that you visit Mazamitla, Jalisco, a mountain town in the Sierra del Tigre. It is a small town in the South of Jalisco, but very frequented by tourists from Guadalajara. I think you’d really like it. I went to school there for 3 years and visit every time in the area. And while you’re there take a day trip to Valle de Juarez, just 15 minutes away, my parent’s home town. Each offer different experiences and culinary specialties.
Have you guys been to Talpa yet? I saw it there on the map when you guys showed where Mascota is. It’s pretty popular religious destination, but they’re also popular/famous for their candies, especially the guayabate!
The Sierra Madre and Moscota and Yerba Buena. I loved the Puebla Magico. You two looked like you shook off the PV stress for a minute. That's so important in such a stressful world. I would love to visit Moscota, Jalisco. Thank you two. Have a safe and wonderful Dia De Pabo! Muy feliz!❤☺️🙋♀️🌺
Please go visit places within mascota county like: Navidad, El cabrito, Sierra lago, Santa Rosa Corrinches (dam) all Sierra madre around it its so very beautiful and so very little people, but so kind and gentle. Thats my place when I retire after living in PV all of my life, I don't want the heat of the summer any longer. Thank you guys for showing us those small nice peaceful places.
I felt the same way the first time we drove to Juarez Mexico for the first time from Denver. But right away we felt comfortable to even drive around town at night. Not bad as they picture it on the news. We have gone back 3 more times to visit family and never any problems or worries. But in more central mexico its always been peaceful and calm. Never experienced nothing bad .
You guys should visit the pueblos around Mascota they are small with few people but very beautiful and peaceful. My mom is from a Pueblo nearby called Galope.
