I remember turning this game on because I was bored, even though I don't follow either team. If TCU hadn't started showing hints of something near the end of the first half I don't think I would have even come back after half-time as it looked like a blow-out was in progress. But half-way through the second half it had become one of the most exciting games I had ever seen. So pumped to have seen this amazing come-back live, and it has me thinking about it today, years later.

College football is basically made up of the best players from High School football. NFL, is made up of the best players from College football. Factor in the fact that most NFL teams carry past great college football players from 1 to 16 years (or more in Brady's case) then in comparison it's like College players playing against historically great college players. Then compound that fact when you consider the Patriots were the best group of great former college players that won the AFC to get there and play the Falcons who had the best group of former college players in the NFC... So therefore by default, the Super Bowl is the "UY Scuti" (look it up) of football games compared to College's level which would be about the size of Pollux. ;) Still a great game by football standards

For this game, TCU was out their starting QB, Center, and top 2 Wide Receivers. If any of them were in, the game might not have made it to overtime. Gotta play with what you have.
