Hello! and welcome to the second and last part of our Coyoacán tour.
After eating some delicious carnitas and huaraches at the Coyoacan Market, we decided to move on and get something sweet. Churros were our first choice and we're glad to report that... they were amazing!
Afterwards, we treated ourselves with some super buttery and tasty Mexican tortas. Tortas are a huge deal in Mexico, so, expect some more wonderful torta material in the future!
Here is a list of the things we ate:
- Churros (order of four): $0.75 USD, $15 MXN
- Hot Cocoa: $0.96 USD, $19.50 MXN
- Hernandez Torta: $3.92 USD, $80 MXN
- Cuban Torta: $3.34 USD, $68 MXN
- Mexican Torta: $3.53 USD, $72 MXN

The different types of Mole, Its history/origin, or reviews on the best Mole in Mexico. I'v personally never tried it. There has been people in the past who get obsessed with this so called mole. There is such a big variety of mole in Mexico, every region has its own recipe, but rumor has it Oaxaca has the best among all moles. Love churros with chocolate. No conocía la palabra chopeo. It's interesting what you call "torta". It is a sandwich jeje. In Portuguese, there is the word "torta", but the translation would be "pie", a sweet pie. This artisan market must be very good. Cuando estuve en México, traje un sombrero rojo muy grande, no me querían dejar llevarlo dentro del avión, pero después conseguí.
Hey Bruno !! hahaha yes, chopeo would mean something like "dipped in". You are right, in Europe they refer to tortas as something sweet, here in Mexico, there is a whole variety of tortas that we will get to show you as time goes on. Cheers !! (and care of that sombrero, they are super difficult to carry on airplanes hahaha)

Comentario Informativo Acerca del Video: En terminos de gastronomia, la milanesa de res en inglés es 'country fried steak' (literalmente: bistec frito del país). Lo sirven con un gravy, para que se den la idea es como si fuera un mole pero blanco, hecho de harina, mantequilla, y caldo. Se hierve hasta que se hace espeso. Lo sirven con pedazos de salchica de puerco y embarran la milanesa con el gravy encima. O_O

I have a goofy question for you guys. Could you do a review of the "mobile food vendors"??? Please?While I was in Mexico City I saw many mobile vendors.
People that have never been to Mexico City may find it very interesting. I'm talking about the sweet potato man, bread man, tamales man, candy carts etc that travel up and down the neighborhood streets. Maybe show them in travel mode, and then highlight and review their food selections. Thank you in advance!

Hey Louis !! Churros are crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside. When you bite one the first thing you taste is the sugar that is all around it and then the steamy hot churro dough kicks in very gentle. They are somehow similar to deep fried pretzels but different at the same time, they are softer !! Cheers !!

El concepto está muy bien hablar de la comida mexicana que para mi gusto es la mejor pero considero que si su canal principalmente es en idioma inglés tendrían que saber explicar un poco mejor los sabores de la comida ya que para mi siento que solo me hablan de los ingredientes y no de el sabor en sí tal vez tendría. Que expandir más su lenguaje en inglés que aún así es muy bueno pero para mí sentí que me hizo falta algo más en cuestión de vocabulario Anyway congratulations

Chicos, si les puedo dar un consejo: cuando pronuncien el nombre de lo que estan comiendo o lo que vayan a comer, no lo hagan como si la persona de habla Inglés lo fuese a pronunciar. Pronuncienlo lento si es que lo tienen que hacer y/o multiples veces, pero pronuncienlo como una persona de cualquier país de habla hispana. Asi se les graba correctamente el pronunciamiento a la persona de habla inglés y les sirve de ay uda si algun día viajan al extranjero. No saben cuantas veces a la semana escucho a mis compañeros de trabajo preguntar si no podemos ir a comer 'que/sa/diiii/las' o 'chu/los a Chicago.' Sé que luego no es bueno leer alguna crítica de una persona en el internet, pero espero que consideren este consejo y les ayude seguir creciendo. Saludos! -Ana

I'm so craving churros now ! I have just returned from Quntana Roo and had the worst imaginable churros in Playa del Carmen. If anyone has had churros in CDMX, they would be very disappointed. Speaking of Playa del Carmen and Cancun, I can tell you that these are not places I like. I do not think they are "authentic" in any way. I could have been in Miami Beach (ugh!) or a similar tourist trap. On the other hand, Tulum was great! I wish I had gone inland, but was relying on public transport, los famosos colectivos ! Ja ja ja.
