Thanks, I’m going to check that fuse first.
Very nice video young man. 👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you sir
Great video! Keep them coming.
The only one skinny black one is the one that comes from the negative post from battery but not sure if it's that one that exactly connects with the red positive? It does have the one that goes from left side to starter but no other Black one around to be found
Yours may be different from the one in the video
Thanks for the video. I ordered a new starter for my Snapper but it may end up being the solenoid (or fuse) as you stated, that I need to replace.
Great video....Question: is this solenoid something I can pick up at lowes? Are they universal? They appear to have something for less than $15
I’m not sure if Lowe’s sells them. They can be universal, but I just picked up the one designed for this mower. You can buy them at any power equipment dealer or buy it online. Let me know if you have any other questions and thanks for watching
I have a snapper identical to the one you see showing. I replaced the carburetor and it still won't start. I'm gonna replace the plug but my 2 questions are, does someone have to be sitting on it to pull start it and does the solenoid have to work to pull start.
Roger, to pull start you don’t have to have someone sitting on the seat but, you have to have the parking brake set. And the solenoid does not need to work in order to pull start
@@onlinesmallenginemechanics3999 Ok excellent, thank you brother God bless...
Thank you.
Hi! So can you tell me where do that skinny black wire that connect to the right side together with the red positive wire comes from? I have looked but it doesn't sims to be anywhere in my snapper
You might have a different model than this one. This is a 2001 model
@@onlinesmallenginemechanics3999 yeah The one I have was made in 2014 but thanks though I have it running the problem was that the guy who sold it to me put a new ignition switch and had the wires harness just plugged into the way it supposed to be but the letters in each conecter were in different place so I just cut wire's and conect them the right way so now it's running but when I put in full throttle hesitate and start to come alot of white smoke so im thinking I need to change the oil and fuel filters and probably the whole throttle body with tank I already looked at them in ebay and they really cheap so yeah but thanks for the reply
If it’s puffing white smoke you might have gas in the crankcase or a blown head gasket
