I did a search for IR2 VS Tonex 1 and you popped up. I loved the music you were playing. The brown sound is my tone for sure. I used to have the Katana and used it often with basically the brown sound only and then a clean boost like you were doing I assume with the HX effects box. I need something for a pedal board solution straight to FOH because amps aren't allowed mostly where I would play. Small clubs and jams. So, this also has an effects loop which is important to me to insert a micro pitch and delay, etc. So I can use this with a couple pedals in front and in the loop and have everything I need for my style of playing which is pretty much high gain blues rock. ❤ Good video sir. I can't put my finger on it but there's an unappealing quality to all of Boss' amp-SIM tones from COSM on multi-FX units that I hear in this too. Sure it's usable but would I want it considering all of the other available options? That's a pass from me boss.

Just a heads up Jarrod, got carpal tunnel surgery on both hands, numbness has decreased, hope it improves enjoyment of the guitar.

Jarred the Brown sound is Based on a 5150. it's the highest gain model

I would get a boss Katina for 30 more. The artist series is about 529 .
The Artists was a disappointment for me. I prefer my Peavey Bandit or even my Marshall Bass 12.
