Thank you for another great video! I’m in the same boat as you. After watching Brick Dynasty’s video , I’m interested in the Weasley’s Wizarding Wheezes set. Also the Wolverine claw is interesting too especially after watching the recent Deadpool & Wolverine movie. I have a feeling we will see more Wolverine content. As Deadpool said, Disney will make Hugh Jackman play Wolverine until he’s 90! 😂
The Yoda starfighter has decent sales velocity on Amazon. So maybe if it goes down to $15-$20 maybe worth considering?

We have the 4+ Velociraptor Escape set on sale from our king of supermarkets for Lego deals (Sainsbury’s) down from £32 to £14.50 (54% off). Like you I’m sure they will do something. They are also doing the 4+ Tenoo Jedi Temple down from £38 to £19, but still nobody is touching them with a barge pole 😂
Haha, nice! Yeah, the retailers want them gone when they discount them that much...they need the shelf space for the new stuff! I was one of the dopes who picked up 3 tenor temples at $17...bad idea, haha 🤣🤣

Got ya...yeah, I saw a number of shark ships at 30% off...then I got lucky and found 3 at 50%. I hope there's more out there and you find them!

The mandalorian helmet got pushed to retirement in 2026 (previously 2025). The shelf life on that one will be massive, but that's not why that peaked my interest. I don't believe Lego will only have 1 helmet set on the shelves beyond 2025. So I think that this means that another helmet set is definitely coming.

PS most of what i sell while waiting for current sets to retire are harry potter/urassic/minecraft sets. I pick them up from moms whose kids grew out of lego and they are just looking to get rid of them - anywhere from $10 -$30 (depensing on set size) and selling for atleast x2 to x4...theres still money there.

@@kdxbricksanalyticsoh always retired NIB. It's always onesy twosy so it doesn't make up a lot of my sales. But it is an easy way to x2 your money...For ex. I recently picked up 76387 and 76383 for $30 and sold both for $110 (85 and 25).

I did invest in 5 from the first two waves this year...and I'm regretting it 🤣. I got the mountain castle, western store, snack shack and the two train buildings. Oh well, I guess I will hold for a long time or enjoy building them myself...how about you?
What a great video! I will myself get a sanctum sancorum for $200 and a mos eisley cantina for $340. The mos eisley cantina is currently sold out on lego and i couldnt get it for any cheaper. Towards black friday is where i will be getting a couple of smaller sets. Do you think im out of my mind or have a good idea of what im doing? (its my first time investing in lego).
I'm hoping we get a better discount on sanctum sanctorum than 20%. I'm hoping to pick it up for at least 25, but we haven't seen one yet.

I think ~80% off is the cutoff where EVERY set becomes "worth it"
Even the absurdly overpriced 4+ and duplo sets.
Yeah, I was exaggerating some, haha. But I wouldn't start investing in a new SKU for these even 90% off (unless I could source a lot of them, which is unlikely at 90% off): most Wish sets (even though I long ago got 3 Asha cottages at 50% off, hahaha), little mermaid royal clamshell, N-1 microfighter, Jake and Sully brickheadz, that 4+ batmobile, pirate snub fighter, friends sports center, travel moments, ginger bread ornaments. I'm sure any Lego set gets a positive ROI at 90% off, but I can't buy them all...at least that's what my wife says 🤣🤣
Beware sending small sets to fba as there are more returns as they tend to ship in plasticbags.

On the other side there are so many reasons why this happened, could be my scale, new packaging, different packaging style. I am so scared that the mini-figures are stolen, please respond. I got it off toyspace for 350 usd

Great vid as usual Kevin! Love hearing your insights and reasons why. I am curious.about this though - in brick bucks ignite, isnt there alot of overlap if everyone is using the same tools and metrics? For example, i think alot of investors are interested in Wolverines claws (myself included) or the retiring speed champs and brick headz. I would be concerned that i would be competing with several others with the same sku on amazon? Just something that ive been thinking about before trying to join the ignite program
Thanks very much! Yes, you bring up a great point, and it is definitely something to consider. In my experience the overlap isn't enough to end up being a negative impact... I think the value of the data and shared a strategies, information and deals heavily outweighs possible impacts from overlap. Furthermore I find it valuable to hear about other sets people are considering but are maybe not highest on their hit list... Sometimes my strategy is to get some of those. My thinking is maybe those have enough buzz to grow in value, but are flying under the radar a little bit. Take care, best of luck, and let me know if you have any other questions! This is not necessarily related, but in terms of the helmet line there’s so many more they could do that would do well. Hot take but personally I think a Kyle Ren helmet would do fantastic despite it even being a sequel.
I 100% agree!! Yeah, The sequels are definitely the worst, but kylo Ren is still a cool character - especially up until the first time he took his helmet off! So I definitely want a kylo Ren helmet... In fact I want two: one of his helmet in good shape and one after it's all beat up.
A Royal Guard helmet would be cool.

Anyone doing the HP burrows with GWP? Cant believe its almsot Sept! Curious what everyone thinks about it...i feel like its over priced even with GWP
I am really considering it! I typically don't do day 1 buys even with exclusive GWPs (but I should have gone for Barad-dur and the GWP, even though the GWP was lame, haha!). I want HP burrows for personal collection, but my gut reaction is when it retires in probably 5 years (haha), it will be decent investment partly because it builds tall and is easier to display on shelves. What are you thinking?
@@kdxbricksanalytics I feel very much the same haha. Day 1's for me are usually for personal collection but I think this one will do well after the 5yr shelf life too haha. I also passed on Barad-dur and kicking myself for waiting (my buddy did not and flaunts it over me lol). HP sets did pretty well as a group until 2019 when prices started cooling off. I can see someone paying $300 for this set in retirement but for my risk tolerance it's prob a no to Day 1. But def wanted to get your opinion on it (Lego isn't my primary focus)

No apology necessary! Feel free to ask any questions! Are you asking about the Lego ideas program... Where you submit your own design that you hope they will make into a LEGO set? I forget where that is, but I don't think it's on the lego.com website or at least on the main part. I think if you Google submit a fan design to LEGO ideas, it will come up. Best of luck!

You never know for sure, but all the retailers will be competing for their best time to do sales (they all won't happen at the same time) during holidays/dates like Labor Day weekend, late October, before Thanksgiving, black Friday, Christmas...i keep a close eye on discord and reddit chatter to catch the deals!
Dried Flower Centerpiece will do very poorly stay at MSRP or go to $70 immediately. It won't do anything in between.
Well going to $70 immedately would be great if bought at an appropriate discount around $35 and it has a double busy season which will help supply long term

Most would say 1 to 3 yrs after retirement unless you don't need the money to reinvest or live off of.
