Thank you for your honesty and transparency. It's refreshing to see someone acknowledging the harsh reality of rising prices, which are leaving many of us feeling battered and bruised. While I'm grateful to be in a position to absorb these costs, my heart goes out to those who are struggling to make ends meet and can't afford their basic necessities. I made $17k from my little invested $8k regardless of how bad it gets on the economy.
NES is a good investment set. I can see for sure they bring out a SNES and after that a N64, compare to the Questionmarkblock. btw 10188 is retired 2015 not 2 or 3 years ago :P
Ninjago City Gardens easily becomes #1 if you are convinced that LEGO will make a 5th Ninjago modular. I suspect they will. The city still needs a residential modular. The Ninjago Apartments (which also fits in to the show lore). I do believe something like that will come.
@@TheBrickQuest Yes, fans had been asking for a Borg Tower for years. We got it in the City Gardens. Fans also been asking for a Ninjago Apartments. Has to be next. Will probably come with an all new Garmadon and a Fugidove (which is a figure fans have been begging LEGO for).
A 5th Ninjago modular in this series is very unlikely given the depiction of all the four sets on the back side of the micro builds (40703-40706). But of course this does not preclude the possibility of a new series with another 4 or so sets.
@@dimosscratch2797 Thought about that. But in the end, the modular prints money and a 5th micro build can be released with the only “issue” being inconsistent box art. And inconsistent box art has not stopped LEGO before. Aside from that, the sets all together don’t look complete.
I really love the way you presented this video. The format was great. The only thing I didn't like was when you were showing the sets in their boxes. Just the whole moving around of the boxes was hard to watch with the herky jerky movement. The information was the best I have seen.
Thanks! I really appreciate the constructive feedback. I’ll definitely look at a different way to show the boxed sets for future videos. I’m glad it was overall helpful though.
I just got the mos eisley set… it’s 🔥🔥🔥 I feel like you should’ve compared it to the cloud city set from 2018. I also plan to get the at-at. Great video!
Just ordered a ucs at at and I think it'll be one of the if not the best Star Wars ucs sets ever. I think it'll be one of the most valuable ones too, one, for it's popularity and two, because I don't foresee lego remaking it. Lego will remake the falcon and star destroyer again, not the at at in ucs form. Playset version will make a return.
Good production value on this vid! For comparison for the A frame cabin, I would look at the medieval blacksmith which so far has not seen much returns I believe.
Thanks! That is a good comparison. Good point! A-Frame cabin could go the way of being over purchased and thus not grow like the Blacksmith. Still a great set to collect before it leaves though.
Great content! Just yesterday I've bought 10326 Natural History Museum for 50% of the retail price here in Switzerland. Little bit far down the road to retirement but 50% is 50% :D I was shocked that this set was so heavily discounted less than 1 year after release! Another thing is it happened in the most overpriced department store in Switzerland. You never know where you will find amazing Lego deal :D
Great review, only thing is nearly all your selection was expensive sets. im concerned that the dearer sets will take longer to sell off as the cost of living is biting in every country and only the devoted will pay the higher pricing. I picked up the hulk buster at 50% off, but that was late last year and only for my personal collection as its been discounted most of its life I'm avoiding it for investing. Keep up the great content.
Thanks! More expensive sets do have some associated risks so I do understand. I do try to do more of my investing though in the higher priced sets because it limits the competition pool and I also like to cater more to that hardcore LEGO collector that will be around for awhile. There can also be some drawbacks to this method so you always have to look at all risk and reevaluate every so often but for right now this is my approach. Hope this helps explain it a bit better. Great price on that Hulkbuster by the way!
What do you think of the Eldorado Fortress set which is going to be retired this year? Its a modern remake of a classic set but I still think it will be valuable in a few years after retirement for people who are nostalgic about the sets they owned as kids in the 90's.
I love the set. I built it last year! Right now I think the best thing for a winning set is finding it a low cost. If you find this set at 30-50% off I think it will be a good set to have. You are right about the nostalgia factor!
I love the set! I have built it. Hard to tell how good it will do after retirement. The part out value is good at almost $500 but minifigure are not overly valuable. If you could find it for around $150 or so it might be a set with some potential upside. Great set for the collection regardless!
I definitely wish I could have added it to my list. Great set! There are lot of other sets I considered adding but just couldn’t top the 10 that I had for various reasons. In my opinion Barracuda Bay was a much better set though, and hasn’t grown in value as much as I hoped since its retirement 3 years ago. However, like with any set, if you can find a good enough deal on Eldorado fortress grab it.
So part value is the value of the set if you were to sell the individual pieces on a platform like Bricklink. Part out value just gives you a good idea of the value of the pieces and minifigs in the set.
I like the Atari set but i does not appear to have been overly popular with fans. The 40% off is good but I wouldn’t go deep on this set. Maybe just 1 if anything. Also if you’re grabbing something else to get the GWP that will help. Also make sure to use Rakuten.
Glad it helped! I like 40686. I have multiple. I would definitely recommend selling if you don’t care to collect the set. I believe it goes in the $40-$50 range on eBay. That way you can put the money into something else you want.
@@TheBrickQuest The good thing is I already got one of these AND an unopened one. I wouldn't sell it if I wouldn't have it myself I just couldn't look at it without opening and building it since I am a lego star wars fan😅
I think the set is very cool! My opinion is that it will do ok but not great. You never know though. Like any set though, only buy it if you can get a good discount on it. 40-50% off and buy it close to retirement so you don’t have to hold it too long.
It's great to hear others opinions, as I typically rely on my own knowledge when making investments. What are your thoughts on investing in specific figures from the Minifigure series? It seems that choosing the right one can lead to significant growth.
So individual minifigures can be high value if it’s a good figure but it’s quite a bit more work. The amount of work that will take is the biggest thing you need to consider.
You do remind me of "Comical Ali" aka "Baghdad Bob" from way back: you talk fast because the bombs are falling all around you and what you say about "winning" is as close to the truth as anything that comes from anyone who is as "pissed as a fart". Lego is coming down; and fast. Fortunately, it is not a matter of life and death. You will just end up with very, very few $s in return for your "investments", but then again: that is what the Danish sets were worth in the first place - close to nothing - 🤪. Antworten
P.S. What is "Brick Economy"? A bunch of heavily drunk Lego employees? Or a group of total idiots? Their ratings in your list are off the beam ... did you notice?

Everyone needs more than their salary to be financially stable. Investing it with a reliable source is the best
I'm a newbie in investment, please can you guide me through on how you made it
What assets did you invest in and how did you achieve so much within a such period of time?
The key to success is finding a set of rules you can follow consistently. I make an average of $15k per week even though I barely trade myself.

Why is the ucs millenium falcon not considered highly rated?
It is highly rated but most likely not retiring this year so I didn’t put it on this list.

Sure thing! If you go to price guide over on Bricklink. You can type in the set number and it will give you the price per piece.
Excellent video. Thank you!
Thanks! Much appreciated and hope it was helpful.
Hi! Do you have a Briklink store?
I used to have a Bricklink store but currently it is closed. I primarily sell my full sets on EBay mostly during the holiday season.
What is part out value?
So part out value is the value of all the pieces individually if you sold them on a platform like Bricklink.

When do the best deals usually happen?
The best deals typically happen during the holiday season. A lot of retailer start discounting sets to get rid of their old inventory.
All unopened original Saturn 5, Destinys bounty bought new £40, Original haunted house, Ecto one, May get Mos eisley thanks Tone from UK.
40% on that hulk buster right now at Lego
