Welcome to the cat lover club! I wasn’t a cat person until my now ex girlfriend brought a cat home and I slowly fell in love. I ended up keeping the cat in the break up and I couldn’t imagine it going any other way now. I now have a second cat and would love even more.

You got a very chillaxed cat! because from my experience most cats go into a meowing fit and freak out when they get inside cars.
It’s not that my mum won’t let me have a pet ,it’s just the landlord won’t let us ,but my mom will get us a pet just to just make me stop asking her❤😂😮😅😊

I remembered about 30 years ago my sister saw these 2 Manx kittens in this one pet store. One was a cute tuxedo and the other kitten was a cute pepper grey tabby. Both were brothers. My sister was heartbroken when the grey tabby had to be put down because he had a birth defect. In June 1994 she went into another pet store and gotten a cute red tabby kitten. I was working at that time and when I first saw the red tabby kitten that I fell in loved with the fur ball. He was so tiny. I even helped in raising those 2 kittens into early adulthood. My sister put down the tuxedo Manx cat when he was almost 5 years old. I think he had birth effects when he gotten a little bit older. My sister gave me the red tabby cat before she moved towards Orlando Florida in April 1999. I had him till late March 2006. I do missed him for being a big sweetie. He wasn’t liked my 2nd cat was.
I got my first cat at 22 years of age. I had to wait till I moved out because it was a HARD no from my parents! During the subsequent 20 years, I’ve adopted 7 more, and fostered dozens of them. My life is literally filled with cats and kittens and I love it. 😻 I have turned into a cat lady in the best way possible!

cats dont really like getting touched by their paws as they grow up, you can teach her and get her used to it but by the time she grows every week she might start to hate it and here's why, cats have a nerves in their paws (idk if i said that right lmao) meaning they get goosebumps when u touch them in their paws, like us we sometimes get a cold spot in our hip for example and if the dinner table touches it you get this weird feeling, well, thats the same for cats too.

I got a Russian blue as well, beautiful silver blueish grey coat. They get pretty big and they’re so curious and love to climb. Energetic to the max.
I'm not sure. Usually RBs are born with blue eyes that fade to green. And I don't see striping on the tail but I coule be wrong

I used to HATE cats untill my aunt got my little cousin 2 kittens now that's all I've been asking for ❤😂
This honestly made me tear up because my mum and dad promised to get me and my sis a pet of our choice and I haven’t graduated middle school yet but the feeling is just so warming 😊

I was always a dog person until our daughters brought home three kittens during Covid. Although I still love dogs I now consider myself a cat lady 😊

I have a male cat, name Bo, I love him he is my son 😃my family trips out because he is on my lease and my daughter isn't. I love how us humans care for our fur babies, thanks for adopting.
Please reconsider allowing your kitten to be loose with you in public places. Pet carriers are for safety. I’ve seen so many lost kittens reported because they got spooked and darted away, never to be found again, and may end up being killed by a car or dog, or stolen.
oh yes! I bought her a pet carrier but she looks so uncomfortable in it so im going to get her a new one when I get more money. Do you recommend any? She is so startled and her running away is my worst nightmare. I should work on that now before she gets too old 😅
@@blixx33 I have a soft carrier that’s airline approved. It has nylon netting all around so kitty can see everything and its fleece bottom makes it soft and comfortable. My cat occasionally hops into it just to feel snuggly!
You’d probably love a kitty backpack - it’s zippered and has a transparent bubble so kitty can sit upright and look at everything! You’re a good cat mommy and it’s clear you love your little baby, who is adorable!😊
@@blixx33 Yes, a runaway kitty is my worst nightmare, especially when they’re a baby!
Not only that but it doesn't have all its shots yet either its too young to be out like that.in my opinion
They also sell tote bags with a hole in it so your kitty can pop its head through. I recommend having a leash as well so she doesn’t run away
where did you get the cat I really want one but I haven’t found the right shelter yet some have cats but full grown and others only dogs

Make sure to watch after his kidney...that's the problem with those cats sadly we lost ours not a long time ago and the vet told us it was a recuring problem about those blue cats...so beware about foods and water! have a nice day 😊

Just watch her and keep up on the vet visits. Your cat will tell you when she’s not feeling good if you pay enough attention because they’ll try to hide it. Kidney issues a common problem in cats, make sure there’s always access to water. There is special canned foods if kitty needs to go on a diet for the kidneys. I wouldn’t worry too much about that. Even if they do, usually it’s when they’re older and it can be managed by the vets ❤️ I have two of my own.

I BUGGED her for YEARSSS and eventually I got older and I could pay for everything. I think showing her how much I can take care of myself showed her I can take on the extra responsibility, but that just my mom and some could be more strict. JUST KEEP TRYING 💪🏾

How do you manage with her and your carpet in your room when it comes to her poop? Does she know where to go?
She actually pooped on my carpet one time, but after that one time she never did it again. Ive been around many cats before and all of them instinctively know to use the litter box and I think it’s because they like to cover it up afterwards.

HOW did u convince ur mom to get one, I can’t even convince my dad. He says that it’ll bite my 2 year old brother and my mom thinks they’re dirty and gross (she’s scared of them) even tho our entire family is Muslim and cats are considered holy. Anyway, PLEASE I NEED TIPS😭
My family is muslim aswell! I have 2 baby siblings (2 and 3) and my cat doesn’t bite them. I think it’s better to get breeds like rag doll as they’re known for being calm and cuddly . And my mom was scared of them too but i begged and begged and convinced her to go to a pet shelter and cat cafe just to see how cute they were and my mom ended up loving one (the cat we got) . So just convince your parent and do research before asking! Hope you get one soon :)
