As a vet nurse, highly recommend keeping them indoors. Outdoor cats have a lifespan of 3 years on average due to injuries, illnesses, being catnapped, eating poison ect ect but they also destroy the native ecosystem around Australia and NZ. Indoor cats have a higher chance of living a full, healthy life of 15-20 years. Cats can have a very happy life living indoors if you provide enrichment for them and it keeps them + the native wildlife safe. A great alternative is creating/buying a cat yard that can attach to your window on your house so they can still enjoy outside time but cannot wander off to get hurt and cannot hurt other animals 😊 No judgement from me though, you do what you want with your beautiful kittens…just wanted to spread information. We get at least one cat a day brought in either dead or 3/4th the way there because it’s gotten really hurt from being outside, lots of cats also getting taken and being dumped far away from their homes ect as well 😢
Do you want them to be outdoor cats? That is your choice. My family and i have 3 cats and i would never let them outside. I am too scared that they will get hurt or get ran over.
Hey, presently I am a mama of 12 kittys, I refer to them as my boys and girls. Keep a sand box inside. Don't allow your baby to go outside, unless someone is holding a leash.

When it's sunny outside, you can take them on a leash, they will enjoy the walk. It's dangerous for these babies to go outside alone.
I would like to be your kitten 🤭
Hi❤
