I think your videos are great! I have the same factory wheels in black as you but I have the all season Michelins on them. (I have a non Z51 car) So I am partial to those. I do like your new wheels and I think they look cleaner because of the contrast between the black and brushed aluminum vs the dark and light gray. I have 400 miles on my car so another 100 until break in! Keep the videos coming!👍😎
Thank you for commenting. You know, if I had it to do over again I would have ordered the black wheels and saved $1k. I do like the all black wheels but I also like machined face too. Keep your eye on that 500 mile change over. Its pretty cool.
To be I like the original wheels better. I do have the same thoughts about the summer tires. I do realize by changing my tires would increase my driving time. But getting new tires and wheels increase my ownership cost. Also I would have to store the extra tires and wheels. I do enjoy your videos.
Thank you George. I like my original wheels and do feel they are better constructed than my new off season ones. We'll see how I feel after some driving time with them. I am fortunate that I can store my summer tires in my garage.
I found your video Very Interesting, I opted to powder coat my light grey 2022 Corvette Stingray 1LT wheels high gloss black metallic and I ended up buying the C8 center caps for the wheels in high gloss black from e-bay and also the lug nuts I bought from e-bay as well and they are high gloss black too and they fit my wheels like a charm, I also got the front half of my Red Mist metallic tint coat PPF and I added a Blue Attack air filter and a Corsa Extreme muffler delete catback with AFM valves and Now my car sounds Mean !!! I also had my Uniden R8 radar detector installed by the same shop who did the previous work on my car, I am switching from my Michelin all season run flat tires to Michelin pilot sport 4S regular tires on the 20th of this month and I Cant wait for the improvement of grip from a dig !!! ;) Mark~

I really like the new wheels. I wish GM offered a wheel like that, even though my car will be arriving with the the same factory ones that you have. Can't wait to hear how the smoothness changes when you get it out on the road again. I always look forward to your videos and watch them over at least a second time because the content is what I like.
Thanks so much Ken. Yeah, you have to order the Z06 to get a wheel like that . And even then I think they use a gray color and not the gloss black on the inside. The factory wheels we have are still really nice and they look well built to me. Let me know when you get your car. Gary

Sorry no Tommy. Those with the summer tires are what I use for the six months where its not freezing
I have 20" and 22" wheels on my vette, yours looks nice!! I had to get a road force balance and better tires to get rid of a slight shudder around 45-50mph..
