I just purchased my 7th Corvette, a 2023 Anniversary Edition. One thing I have learned, there is an endless amount of Corvette. STUFF you can spend your money on. I started spending money on cars since I was 17 at Trenton Speed Shop!
It never stops, but also part of the fun.
Generally speaking, ACS Composites aftermarket parts are so clean and the fit/finish is incredible. I have their 1VM front splitter, 1VM side skirts and rock guards on my C8. I am disappointed that GMs Z51 front splitter is such a piece of junk compared to the ACS product. Earlier today I actually had a Chevrolet employee asking me where I got my parts from when I had my car serviced and he had the same observation. Seriously, and to your point, why can’t GM do better with this? Joseph at ACS is an awesome guy and so easy to work with. I personally dealt with him when I ordered my parts a year ago. You are correct, they always look so great! It is a shame that we buy 100k cars from GM and they put crap aero pieces on them. It really blows my mind! Oh well, Joe and ACS is always there to fix what GM lacks in development. 👍😊

Pretty expensive $900 for 2 small composite pieces! I think I saw them for like $699 a couple of weeks ago. I even thought that was pretty expensive.

Rediculous expensive for plastic, probably find a black set eventually for 2/3'ds the cost. Its probably the paint that cost more.
You have to remember boys and girls the manufactures send these things out for FREE to these influencers/shills so when you see them adding on thousands and thousands of dollars worth of plastic stick on with tape crap it’s because they get it for FREE !!! Only thing we mortals can do is to have our own channel and start selling your integrity so you can get all this free stuff and start living the dream
I wish ACS would just make a stealth kit for the speakers like it comes from the factory for all of us that weren’t able to get it or bought a used car and want it!!

I figured out why this car looks so good. The two tones with the black bottom half of the car FLOW like very few other cars. Its awesome.

If GM did everything you wanted, there would be no aftermarket.
Perhaps ACS should offer two versions. This one is kinda mild and probably not very effective as a ground effects. Maybe they should also offer a more aggressive one that would have some actual rear diffuser effect that can actually be felt at speed.

If you keep pointing out GM's mistakes on the C8 Mike, they're going to unsubscribe from your channel. 🤣 Although, in all honesty I believe the pros outweigh the cons on the C8. As to ACS the fit and finish of their products is beyond compare.

if Gm Put this part on it would be a 1500.00 add on . i like having choices of what i can add in the aftermarket . then I personalize my car , my way . otherwise everyone would have that feature and would not allow conversation at shows. and there would not be you tube's videos like you are doing ?😁
YIKES!!! $900.00 is way too much money for those things. They don't do a thing to improve performance. These companies treat Corvette owners like suckers. Yeah, nice box...........LOL
Too much is relative. ACS doesn’t treat anyone like suckers, they are a business that knows their customers really well. They’ve been doing this a really long time. Again, it’s relative, if you’re take a look at pieces for any Lambo, Ferrari, McLaren, etc…they are many thousands for these type of parts.
You aren't kidding. These companies definitely believe in a "Corvette Tax". Similar mods on other cars are a fraction of the price.

I noticed that ACS has this diffuser in white too. I was just curious as to what made you go with black? I have a torch red C8 and I am undecided as to whether to go with the red of black diffuser.
You could also do carbon fiber and have a wrap shop do some red accent wrap would also look unique and great.
Well my c8 isn’t white for one thing, it’s Ceramic Matrix Gray. But also, I don’t like it to contrast with the stock diffuser at all, that’s just not my thing. If the fins only were colored, I would probably like that, but not the whole piece.
I'm still on the fence about these pieces for Arctic White C8. Probably not going to add them.
I’m liking mine more and more every time I look at my car, super happy with them!

The diffusers look nice but seem very pricey. Also, in my opinion you still have too much red on your car.

Makes the back look too “Busy”. But if you have that much extra money to spend on cosmetics, go for it.
Totally looks like afterthought design only makes it look terrible, look at other sports car diffusers and you will see the fins width are super wide as opposed to this paper thin width of this acs afterthought what is the point.
I actually don't like these. I'll like ACS was trying a bit too hard this time. Normally I love everything they do.

I’d love to help GM make the Corvette even better than it already is. In fact I’ve tried to give them feedback, and the old engineers are too old school to listen to me. 🤷♂️

Unnoticeable. Overpriced. Waiting to get caught on to something to rip off your rear bumper. Would not install anything aftermarket on my 2023 70 th Z51 carbon flash
