What if we took the joke "How many people does it take to screw in a lightbulb" and made it into a game?
That's the perfect description
And the answer changes on the collective IQ of the team. Fun fact, the collective IQ never goes above single digits.
@@gryphon4150 facts. Even with a bigger lobbies mod there’s always that one guy who drags it back below 10.
Battle Royale but your all trying to screw in a lightbulb.
The "screw in the bulb" hotkey is randomized per lightbulb, as is the lightbulb and its relevant outlet. It would be a phenomenal gamemode imo if they just added more monsters lmaooo
It's still crazy that this was developed by a single 21 year old. That dude has some SERIOUS game design talent.
A 21 year old furry who has an affinity for horror and comedy-horror games.
Can't get much better than that!
Dude's been making horror games since they were _9._ That's not talent, that's purely-earned skill.
@@The_True_Mx_Pink So being able to make games at the age of 9 is not talent?
@@FlameJackstar ... yeah. It's ableist rhetoric to believe you have to be born a certain way to make things "good." In reality, perceived "talent" is the result of interest from someone at younger days, where in reality, they were performing pseudo-practice or pseudo-studying before they properly started. Also, their first games were exactly what you would expect a 9 year old to make on Roblox.
Don't idolize skill and passion into an unattainable goal that you think you've missed.
@@The_True_Mx_Pink Well, I still kindly disagree, since I've seen plenty of time in my life that people can have certain knacks for skills. Not in the way, as in "This person has never picked up a pencil before and is basically Picasso" but that they're able to learn much faster and more effective than others in the field. Even if his first projects were obviously just fooling around in game-maker engines or something like that, he was able to pick up over time what really matters in a game and refine the potential he had, be it raw game-design or production. For example, he literally coded the best proximity-voice-chat in a game to date. With 21 years. I'm pretty sure he didn't train that for the past 12 years. And I'm pretty sure there are game-devs out there, who worked longer in the business than that, that were not able to do so.
Denying that something like talent exists at all, feels like being uncomfortable of the fact that some people can be better at things than others. Which is not a bad thing.
moded lethal company is soo much fun, usually have like 8-9 people in our crew and always becomes a cluster fuck and our budgets goes away so fast
The funny thing about the Limbus Company joke is that in both games you are part of a group of expendable misfits rummaging through derelict buildings full of SCPs to snag something of value.

Everytime I hear anything project moon related is like activating my sleeper agent program

is this supposed to be a reference to the Pickles furniture item in Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Sim, or are the pickles _that_ delicious?
I don't even _like_ pickles. So either I already didn't have a soul, or you are overhyping briny cucumber.
Ah, don't think I didn't see that limbus company logo! PROJECT MOON WITH A SIDE OF SALT WHEN, SCOTT?
Seeing the Limbus Company logo in a Scott video is surreal O_o
I never thought I’d see the day
The fucking Project Moon snap sound effect.
I think Lethal Company is gonna stick around for a bit. This sort of co-op experience is partially what kept Among Us around for so long, and the fact that it's still in early access means that there's probably gonna be lots of stuff added in the future.
This comment is the Limbus Containment Area after the Before Team found a mention of our company

I've actually had a lot of good luck playing with randoms in this game! I've done like 20ish games and only ran into one person spouting gamer words
It really does give the meet a random person on the job and starting to become work friends until you get distracted enough from the task at hand and you all get fired!
A very casual and likely accidental projectmoon reference

Scott’s showing how much of a great great asset he is to the company
When you’re with your friends, it’s a comedy game….
When you’re alone or everyone dies, it’s a horror game
Don’t let this distract you from the fact that Lethal Company have the same premise of Pikmin 2
That's an accurate description.
Pikmin 2, but less allies and scarier monsters.
0:10 To me, when i first discovered it, i just realized it was similar to pikmin 2 !
Like, the fact that you go on a random planet, survive and collect treasure to pay you're company's debt.
This seems like the place that I work at except if everyone else was smarter
oh no us pmoon fans are literally everywhere
Limbus spotted, brainrot activated.
And i wish I had friends to play th3 game with :
I like your little character’s art style!
Scott did not know about the millions of sleeper agents he awakened when there was LIIIMBUS COOMPANYY on sight
I can say meeting with randoms is actually pretty fun. Most people are just enjoying the game and the antics still happen.
Mention Limbus Company enough and maybe we can get Scott to play... Spend the 30+ hour time investment since we just started a new season!
Lethal company is so fun especially with a bunch of people lol, the fact it was made by one person is insane

i actually have had a pretty good time playing with randos so far. ive only done it twice but my first time everyone was super helpful with helping me learn the controls and stuff and the second time we all clicked really well together!
This game is just "let's take some stuff from here and there are also unimaginable horrors trying to kill us too lol XD :P" but even crazier somehow.
its amazing that one person made this ONE
Here’s to hoping that the health of the company stays strong for gamers to come.
You’re on a hot streak recently. Good to see you’re having fun explaining games.
1:43 you weren't kidding about the Salmon Run
It's simultaneously salmon run for mentally stable people and deep rock galactic on a very strict budget
Lethal Company is actually a pretty legit horror game. All the clips run between hilarious shenanigans of someone charging down a corridor with the body of someone who died only to die themselves, to the pants-wetting terror of hearing a crack from behind you and turning around to see your buddy's feet vanish around a corner as they're dragged away.
Welcome to the Project Moon brainrot
Limbus company mentioned! WOOOOOOOOOOOOH!
No way, Limbus Company mentioned
YOU FLASHBANGED ME AND NOW MY EYES ARE IN SO MUCH PAIN. (also some things in singleplayer change, for example, normally the bugs on the ceiling kill you after latching on but in singleplayer, they only bring you down to 1hp!)
I definitely think the improvement I want most from the game isn't in the gameplay itself. I mean sure, ol' "Big Forest Giant" out your ship still needs to cool down, and now that rail cheese is destroyed the Thumpers are even more of a run-killer, but the dev likely realizes the issues and will likely be implementing some changes to help with it all.
What I want is lobby titles. Ultimate Chicken Horse has these: it's been a hot second since I played the game, but essentially you can choose to label your lobby for stuff like competitive play, casual play, or "Hey we're only playing custom maps only choose custom maps no STOP DONT SIT ON THE BUTTON FOR ROOFTOPS".
I think Lethal Company could benefit from something like this; maybe "Casual" for people just wanting to goof around, "Competitive" for people who are wanting to perfect their scores as much as possible, and maybe a "Modded" checkmark that can apply to either option to state whether or not the lobby is, well, modded.
Also, it'd be cool if you could do something like, start a lobby in "Friends Only" to get one or two friends in, then switch it to "Public Lobby" to allow the last player to be a rando for the fun of it. It's a weird change, but I've seen tons of people who want to just do parties of 2 or 3, but also have a rando join to reach the 4 player maximum to make reaching quota easier, and to ensure their friend gets in they usually have to keep closing public lobbies unril that friend shows up.
"I don't cover flavor of the month games" - A whole channel of Flavor the Month Games with a slightly more work Vtuber avatar.
the fact lethal company still has over 150,000 people who came back for the update that came out a few hours ago and its actively the top seller on all of steam (still) is incredibly telling

Yipee mod is the best thing to be added to this game and if anything it heightens the horror aspect. Like a fan of Mothman with all the cuddly merch of it meeting the accurate Mothman
Yup. Zeekerss at it again making a great horror game. This dude has come such a long way. From making Roblox Horror games to making a few great Horror games in other platforms.

Why is it like *all* the youtubers play the same multiplayer stuff at the same time? Glad to see Scott doing something more than just an LP on it.
Probably cause it’s fun
Cause that's literally how flavor of the month games work.
Wait, Scott played with Vernias and Sophist?
Me and my friends recently got into modding the game for new content , and the two mods that I really love are one to make value of items go up on planets with bad weather, and mimics. I love that second one much more than I should. After dying to a mimic one of my friends asked a different friend if I was still alive, in which they responded. “Nico said he was gonna go test the (REDACTED), and he never came back.” I had no need to test it, there was no reason to test it, but I wanted to. I might have a problem.
I haven't played this yet, but I've seen a couple videos. My favorite moment has to be
"Hey, what's this? It looks like a land mine."
