ram compatibility can be selective with OEMs, though I do not know how Lenovo shakes down in these kinds of trends. I do, however, rather suspect that the motherboard these builds come with are not realistically equipped to enable anything close to the full potential of the processors they are sold with (at least not with the Intels). Emphasis on suspicion, but the way the system was already set to throttle so much power flow for the i7 in the demonstration is the most obvious clue among a handful of others that it is not at all an arrangement that can sustain any kind of overclocking. Not to say that it was such a bad purchase, but it is my impression that you might gain a good deal more performance (sustainably) if you moved the processor and the GPU you already got from the Lenovo into a motherboard equipped with better VRM and thermal management features so you can get better access to overclocking potential.
I love the very sober design of Lenovo and I loved more the design of the graphics card, And what do you think? Finally after so much time looking for a good combination for my HP Pavilion TG01 I got an RTX 3060 TI for 425 dollars as an upgrade and the Noctua fans arrive in a week. All this will be released on the launch day of Calisto Protocol on December 2, installing these new components.

now ... will i dear to change the CPU or even the ram ?
ram compatibility can be selective with OEMs, though I do not know how Lenovo shakes down in these kinds of trends.
Not to say that it was such a bad purchase, but it is my impression that you might gain a good deal more performance (sustainably) if you moved the processor and the GPU you already got from the Lenovo into a motherboard equipped with better VRM and thermal management features so you can get better access to overclocking potential.
i just ordered mine for $600 on amazon. putting a 2080 super, 32g ram and 750 watt PCU. should be a nice one
Was it a refurb? I don’t see any for that much :(
I love the very sober design of Lenovo and I loved more the design of the graphics card,
And what do you think?
Finally after so much time looking for a good combination for my HP Pavilion TG01 I got an RTX 3060 TI for 425 dollars as an upgrade and the Noctua fans arrive in a week.
All this will be released on the launch day of Calisto Protocol on December 2, installing these new components.
Your going to love it.
Yes I like that it was not just plan. Lenovo does do a good job
@@TNW1337 I have a question, you mentioned that the EVGA brand had done something wrong, what did it do wrong?
Is 8 ram or 16ram
I am loving these videos. I feel like you're doing the community a service by showing people how to upgrade all these prebuilts.
I am still trying to figure out if my 6900xt (340mm) will fit in the legion t5 case. I know that Gigabyte 3080 was around 320mm. It would either be right on the front screen, or wouldn't fit.
I have the tg01-0067NA. it already came with a 400 watt psu so will a rx 6600 and ryzen 7 3700x be safe
Yes but will bot hurt to have the 500w bit will work
@@TNW1337 ok thanks

@@nicka2824 We may do a SSD they are not that hard to do.
Would a 6750 xt work as well?
Hello, I bought the i5 12400f, 16 ram, RTX 3060 and 512 SSD, for 599 euros, Amazon for prime day, is it a good purchase? good video.
How do you overclock the CPU on it?
You need a K variant cpu if you want to overclock it.
@@polardabear gotcha, thanks for the info!
Looking to upgrade mine to 32gb for using unreal for vfx. Any recommendations for ram?
So you are saying I have to switch back and forth between drivers if I do both video editing and gaming? I didn't know that they have one dedicated for editing and I always went with the same one for both usages.
I just picked it up from Costco yesterday, and it runs really well. I was wondering what type of 3rd party CPU air cooler I can upgrade, cause as always, OEM builds the CPU cooler sucks... has anyone done it?
How much was it? Looking at getting this from best buy for 850?
Alpha cool sells a 92mm AIO and Noctua is your best bet
