Looks really nice for the price! Might recommend this to my dad if he ever decides to go to PC

Im watching because normally i'm not big on pre builds, but i'm hoping for a reasonable cost pre build that this is decently upgradable. Though NZ doesn't have the 2024 model yet, because for some reason NZ likes to wait until things are dying before givintg htme at full price *sighs* - My honorary family the husband's an electronics store sales guy, and i won't be the one "BUYING" it my mom prefers to buy from him, and buying a custom build *COULD* Be cheaper but i dont know if she'd want to do that since she's always wanting to give him the sales buffs XD

Added: That performance thing they added to their software from their laptops, I hope to god with a stock reinstall of windows it's not going to kill the system, because those two performance things are something I hate that lenovo does. I had a really REALLY bad lenovo laptop in 2017, i mean it's not the WORST -- I won't go back to a gaming laptop unless I require a laptop.. I'm on an imac 2019 right now, and i know that PC upgrades are way cheaper. XD

I would be curious to know if the CPU cooler can be replaced? While it make look standard it may not be using standard Intel screws. This will be a problem if the Cooler mounts to the case rather than the motherboard backplate.
Learned that the hard way with the Ryzen Legion Tower. It's doable but Lenovo made it unnecessarily complicated.

@techd9154 for the LOQ tower of the video, it can be replaced, I saw it in another video, but the video is in Spanish, if you talk about the Legion Tower, ignore this comment xd

I can put it a 4070 with the 500w PSU? I think the recommended is 650w

    • @TechGuyBeau

Absolutely you can. The Legion that I show in this video has a 13 700 and a 4070. Both running on a 500 W PSU

@@ObedC-yv7lx I had the same idea but its going to tight space with Zotac 4070. Another then that, i agree 4070 should be fine with PSU.

just bought it from best buy, pretty good PC so far, I am planning on upgrading the RAM to 32 GB by adding another 16GB RAM stick, which RAM model do you recommend?

Ideally you would match the ram if you are just adding another stick

What are the cords in the bottom right corner supposed to connect too???? Please someone tell me.
After watching I seen they are hard drive caddy’s
am I supposed to get a hard drive with my purchase or do I have to buy one separately??

    • @TechGuyBeau
      @TechGuyBeau  Месяц назад

That would be a separate purchase. If you do buy one, you can plug the hard drive into the caddy and connect those cables

I picked with up with $730 after all discounts at the Levono website before it sold out. One tip is the mobo is non-standard because it has 10 pin connector verse 24 pin. No PSU upgrade for this prebuilt for powerful GPU because no modern PSU that I know has 10 pin connector.

If you’re gonna spend close to 730 and then want to immediately upgrade the power supply you might as well just build one at the same price range. Literally makes no sense to pour money into this machine just to increase performance and achieve lackluster results.

I bought the model 90X0004PIN which is available in my country. I am planning to add an HDD. The spec sheet for my model says its compatible with 3.5" size, but @2.30 you said 2.5". Could you please elaborate? May be your model has a different sized HDD support? May be its a silly question, but i am pretty new at this stuff.

Desktop is usually 30% faster and cheaper than their laptop counterparts. Honestly, if you dont plan on moving around, just get a desktop. The only reason to get a laptop is portability.
