One thing that I noticed on how they set the monsters before the last Velkhana fight is that each monster has an aspect of her fight. Glavenus and Nargacuga have the tail weapons, brachydios and vaal have the pools of damage, Namielle also has intactable pools of damage, even before Velkhana some creatures have tiny bits of Velkhana like armor. I may just be connecting dots that aren’t there but it’s interesting
i love how one side is crying like "the original is better! this is so bad omg!" and the other side "this one is so much better than the original omg the original is so baaad!" one every MHworld iconic monsters soundtrack. Guys how about we agree that both versions are amazing and everyone is allowed to like one more than the other x) i agree that the ost from generation is more dynamic in one way, but the other too is great cause i feel a more murderous intent with the "more" orchestral theme ^^
especially with how iconic and cool the Greatsword was in GU, shame they fucked it up with Iceborne... the ironic thing being that the Palico's glavenus weapon IS just a tiny Glavenus Greatsword, so they clearly had the means... they just didn't use it.
XX theme : bad ass swordsman, explosive, intense and epic World theme : lethal, noble swordsman, same intense fight with a hint of chivalry personally i think XX theme fits default glavenus more, whereas world theme fits acidic glavenus more
Imagine they bring back hellblade and instead of the world theme or even deviant theme they use just the Generations track with maybe the only Chan being higher quality.
I knew there was something about Glavenus's theme in World that seemed off! It seemed like I enjoyed the music a lot more when hunting Acidic than normal Glav, and until now, I didn't know why!

I had monster hunter world last Christmas (December 2019) its my first monster hunter game and I freaking love it but I want iceborn just to be able to fight this monster who look sick as hell
@@carlos-zy7vx nah, it was officially added when iceborne was released, but I think the mod was made way before. It definitely does show that capcom does have a look at some of the feedback the players give and what they want to see. Small things like this can make a big deal for some.
Yeah, it's one of the small QOL tweaks in Iceborne. They also tweaked the color of Crystal Bursts so they're easier to see in the Elder's Recess against the crystal floors.
Kinda lackluster fight tbh, could see more tail usage, especially on turf wars but whatever (I am aware tho that it's pretty much similar to the Gen fight) Glavenus is still amazing nevertheless.

I am not an elitist but it's much more enjoyable to not get halved by the 1000 degree tail boi moving at light speed. I mean sure some find a game fun when it's all about unforgiving enemies but many enjoy a more stable of a ride through the game. I have indeed played other titles from the series before.

I just noticed CAPCOM implemented a vertical glow to dropped items, it's interesting that they implemented an idea from a mod.

it may look awful but apparently it's got one of the highest dps numbers in the game. It's really consistent damage if you use it right.
