Do you have to live in California to become an eligible notary and perform RON for California?
If you'd like to become a notary in CA, you do have to live in the state. Once commissioned you can notarize for anyone within the state. At this time, RON is still not available in CA.
You have to be Commission in CA and be a resident to be a CA Notary
