This video just changed my life. I have been having horrible neck, upper back and arm pain that radiates clear down into my right hand. I have no health insurance and haven’t been able to go to see a Dr. and the pain has been unbearable. After watching this video I tried this method and had instant relief. Thank you SO MUCH for posting....it’s made such a difference in my life!
How are you now?

Thanks again guys. Always enjoy learning the reasons behind the pains and the science behind the exercises
You guys are great! I could watch you two even if I didn’t need the info. The fact that y’all are the real deal only makes this channel more amazing
Woke up this morning with a horrible pain in the neck. i got that sorted but the nerve near my cervical spine was hurting a lot too, thank goodness this was posted yesterday!
You guys are great, cause as per your guideline I have been continuing for the last 6 months & now I am 100% relieved from painful cervical spondylosis of 3 cervical joints, it is amazing, that I was prohibited to ride motor bike but now I used to ride it on an average of 80 kilometres per day. Thanks to My creator almighty Allah, and also you people, may Allah bless you.
Alhamdulillah for you!
Brother you say thank Allah THEN people don't say AND ,may Allah bless you
Amen! God bless you! Keep the faith.
You both saved my Monday! Thank you for sharing your knowledge in such a fun and light way. 🙂
Thanks for your help and all you do
You guys are very entertaining to watch and helpful. I have a herniated disc in between c6/7. Just had an epidural injection but still feeling numbness. Trying this traction technique So far its brining more relief Thank you
Thank you for these videos.
I needed this just now! I am an SLP (Speech-Language Pathologist) who enthusiastically positions myself to look eye-to-eye with people seated in wheelchairs, as well as children. We SLPs need a lot of self-care and PREVENTION instruction that we did not learn in school. Keep the videos coming to my mailbox!
Who needs The Neck Hammock®️ when a towel works just as well! Have just done 40 seconds and it felt very relaxing and a lot of tension relief. Thank you guys 👍🏼🙏
i love the towel™️
You do these videos free for us. May the force bless you ❤️
I find that this work's very well and that an old necktie works best for me.
Laying on the bed gave me the best stretch and was the most comfortable. thank you
Been having some issues the past week and found this video. The pain relief was INSTANT. Gonna keep doing this and hopefully the problem goes away. THANK YOU
Did it help and stay gone?
Thanks for the videos will look forward for more good ones...keep it up guys...
I cannot thank you both enough for all of the wonderful information which is phenomenally beneficial. 😀👍🏼💖😃👏💖
I will definitely try this. Thanks guys.
I SO needed this video!!! I have deg. disc disease and I know that this technique will help me greatly. Generally, after my hubby rubs my neck and shoulders he will gently pull up on my head. Not to worry...he's in the medical field. You guys ROCK and I enjoy every one of your videos. Thanks for all you do for us! Beverly
I wasted money buying a traction set up that hooked over the door and used a pouch full of water as a weight, it was so lame. This is so much better but even moreso if someone does it for you. thank you for posting, I just shared this with a friend who complained of neck pain so I came online to find a video in case my instructions weren't clear. How perfect it was to find your video.
Hi Brad & Bob. You guys rock! I have severe neck pain. Today it was 10x when it woke me up. I’ve been doing these exercises all day & I’m feeling better! Thanks so munch! I’m probably the only person who gets injured doing yoga. I’ll keep doing these♥️♥️♥️
you are not alone. Being a physio, I see regularly people injuring their neck and back after doing yoga. Especially after that headstand yoga.
You guys are great, thanks so much
Big pop as soon as I did it thanks
Thanx I got instant relief from the pain. Please share more on cervical pain treatment
THANKS for this technique! My PT used this on me
I have to stop back in to thank you, Bob and Brad. I had a slip on the ice a while back and banged a knee and arm, which is what I paid attention to at first. Over time, though, my left shoulder and arm and even my right arm became very painful. I did shoulder stretches and nothing seemed to help. Poking around led me to a bulge on the side of my neck - already the trouble spot in my frame - that seemed to be the source of all the other problems. One morning, I stumbled across this video and began the self-traction. There was immediate relief to my arms and over time to my left shoulder and neck, which have begun to heal.
At this particular time, I wasn't interested in sitting in a doctor's waiting room or being shuffled from doc to doc, urgent care or ER. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, for what you do, especially now when the focus needs to be on such extremely ill individuals.
Still pain free?
Better than what my chiro ever did for me. Thank you guys♡♡
Chiropractors are quacks.

You guys rock!!
Just what I needed!!!! Thank you!
Millions of likes from heart!!!!
Thank you famous guys!
Love you guys! Brad was cracking me up at the beginning with Sam. 😏
Thank you
The 30 second neck traction really worked for me. This is a very good stretch. It takes away the neck stiffness and headache. Thank you guys! For me after awhile it comes back so I’m hoping if I keep doing this for several weeks it will finally be gone. I’ve had stiffness on and off for many years so thinking it may take awhile
Did it go away permanently?
I like doing this if I'm getting a headache. I feel as though it helps to relax the muscles down the neck and across the shoulders, lovely stretch. Thanks guys you are the best physios, in my opinion of course! 😂 😂 😂
Wow, that hurt but things started popping. Interesting. Herniated discs from being rear ended, docs and shots didnt really help, wish they would've done stuff like this instead.
Thanks
Omg you guys are hysterical! I’m a LMT riddled with a lifetime of JIA. Almost everything hurts. But my neck is pretty bad. Docs want to do surgery. I do not.so this video is great. Informative and you guys make me laugh. That’s a good thing because I’ve been a grumpy lady😜
Can I just tell you guys that my 5 year old son has your catchy jingle memorized?!?! He comes to my physical therapy with me since school ended for the year and sings it to the PT’s 🤣🤣 one of my favorite PT’s says they’re gonna check your channel out!!
Pl help with ligament tear pain remedies & recovery excercises
I’d love to see these guys in person working on patients , their jokes are so corney , my PT had corney jokes but it helped me laugh while I was in pain going through my knee exercises 😄
Corney jokes are hilarious to me 😊
These guys are great. But the best part is that what they say works! I was told I have to learn to live with my neck pain. Not so do these exercises they show you. They work.
Watching all your videos and doing the wall angels etc, changed my chair and monitor height at work, shoulder blade squeezes several times a day - how long generally does it take for the pain to centralize and go away?
Love you guys. Thank you for all you do.
Thank you for your support! It depends on what the pain is. Just be patient and consistent :)
Midelwestern American accent at its finest by these 2 gents. "Shhhhuuuure", "riiiiight". Man, I love this shit
I've been doing that stretch and it helps a lot I've noticed my vision gets clearer. I still have numbness in my left little finger though.
What has this got to do with vision
Does this help with occipital neuralgia? I find the pain doesn't go down the arms for me, but around the sides of the head.
Effective 👍👍
How does the psoas muscle work and what nerve is the controller.?
Do you have any exercises for issues with what feels like my t1 or t2?
Bob said you had other videos for what to do if self traction makes the arm pain worse but only linked to the sleeping position one. Will you post links to the others for me, please?
Hello Bob & Brad
Please can you give me some advice ?
As when i lies & sleep's on my left shoulder,
I wakes us with a stiff & painful left side of my neck,
Then the pain works up to left side of my head - Behind my left ear onto behind my left eye.
Your program's are absolutely great
Kind regards to you both.
Leighton 😀
I lay on my stomach and hang my head over the edge of the bed for a couple minutes. The weight of my head seems to release some of the pressure and sometimes stops my headaches
Omg lmfao Maybe I pulled my head too hard with that towel because I just horrified myself reading and picturing it after I thought you said that you lay on your stomach and BANG your head over the edge of your bed for a couple minutes...
I hang my hand over the edge of my bed and lightly tug my hair to down the floor it feels amazing cracks my neck sometimes to I highly recommend it
got disc buldge for more than 3 years .......after doing this traction exercise the pain has reduced drastically!!!! thank you
Is it solved now
That song is a knocker!
Hi there yesterday I had xrays on my neck and spine and it turns out the my neck has no curve in it (in fact a bit in the opposite direction) I tried this exercise with a strap for the first time and it made me dizzy, is this a normal reaction for a first timer ore should I try a different exercise to put my neck into the correct curvature
This reminds me of that "ring-dinger" chiropractor in Texas.
Always active here you be active and stay healthy as well
What brand is that folding table?
How about if you have had a neck fusion is this safe ?
Hi, new subscriber here. Geat vids, thank you. I have a couple herniated discs in my neck, neck not so much pain but the top of my forearm whenever I do any kind of pulling motions like chin up, pull ups, curls, especially hammer curls, or having someone in a headlock, I do MMA, is extremely painful. If I continue to squeeze or pull my left arm in the top of my forearm is really painful and I cant squeeze or pull anymore without it feeling like my bone is going to break. Ive had a MRI that shows the herniated discs but docs said slightly herniated. I'd like to continue MMA and weight training but I'm wondering if my only option is surgery. or if I'll have to stop all those physical activities and do stretches and exercises to be without pain. Thank you
Can you guys cover meralgia paresthetica
Wish you could ZOOM in further when showing specifics on skeleton model. Would help.
My fav feel better buds
My mom's nerves is compressed by other nerve and Because of that she is having terrible pain in neck to full left arm. She cannot really move her left hand and lil jerk hurts alot. I just wanted to know if this traction will work for the pain relive as Medicine didn't work
This reminds me of the spine decompression that Doctor Gregory Johnson uses from Advanced Chiropractic Relief.
Is it similar or the same?
I personally don’t know so I’m going to stay back to neuuuuuutral
Looking to rid a paint right at the base of my skull. I might try this
How long does it take with these exercises to heal pinched nerves/herniated disc?
Can I do it for herniated disc and spinal cord contacting the disc??
I suffer from occipital neuralgia. I'm going to try this. Tytyty
Jeanmarie Market what is this? What are your symptoms?
What if the disc protrusion is pressing in to the thecal sac
It works like magic. But how long do i do this? Will i do this as long as i lived?
intermittent cervical traction help neck pain associated with herniated disc?
My symptoms range from shooting pains in my left shoulder blade when I raise my head all the way back, dull neck and trapezoid aches, and occasional deferred pain down my arm. All on the left side, and for about a month now. Does this sound more like a muscle strain, pinched nerve, or herniated disc? Really starting to bum me out that its lasted this long
Wt helped you I have same issue
Hi guys can muscle spasm cause your ears to be full of air cause sometimes that happen to me...
My pain go away in seconds i have a cervical bulging disc
Experimenta!
Hi guys I have an issue since 2010 that I have severe headaches and speacily during my sleep and usually starts from the lower head part and checked so many drs but no answers even I did cairopracting but still so much pain even it tights my arms shoulders until the side of my head and eye.
Can u please tell me what is my condition and how can I cute from it? By the way I left my work because of it as it got severe with computer
Asking for a diagnosis from a description would be like you guessing the color of their underwear. Can't be done! Get your neck X-rayd.
Going to start trying this at home, my neck muscles and 2 herniated cervical discs feel like they're strangling me 24 hours a day.
SKOL.
Sir poor posture in studying for 7 hours frm last 4yrs develop pain in my neck medicine cure me once but now it again begin is it permanent
Would a belt work?
I'm going to try this right now! Almost 3 yrs ago my left arm stopped working and I had 8/10 pain in my left shoulder blade. An MRI showed a bulging disc in my neck exactly like Sam had 😉 I've been on opiods ever since, and I hate it. Question is, can a bulging disc ever be cured?
Did it fix your problem
I have Cervical Lordosis,Loss of Disc Space, Congintal Blocked C5, C7 & Disc Bulge at C6.
Plz Suggest, If Traction is Okay to do..?
A Physiotherapist Said not to do that.
shaikh fahd what is this? What are your symptoms?
I wasn’t able to get but 24” of traction but I’m going keep working for 30”
