Yes he’s full of crap and anyone who has done carnivore will testify all the fibre claims are pure BS , plants are full of toxins and mist nutrients are not even bio available to the human digestive system - eat quality meat , fish , eggs , butter , ghee and see the difference - it’s night and day. Salads are for rabbits , fruit and veg is mostly full of starches and sugars which bring on diabetes and Cardio vascular disease - the evidence is visible on the street and any doctors waiting room

Nothing is better than your own experience. An exclusionary diet with occasional variation is most revealing. I have tried everything from total vegan to exclusively carnivore. Try things for yourself. Every single plant contains fiber. Every single plant also contains toxins to prevent animals from eating (killing) it. Some are less troublesome for you than others. I suggest you proceed based on your own actual experience, not based on what someone else suggests is good for you, because you are unique and nobody can know what works best for you without testing it.

Grew up eating Legumes beans each and everyday of the week, begin around mid 50s- right after lunch a large bag of dried beans from the cupboard would opened, picked through (cleaned) then place in a bowl of water to soak for 2 hours- the purpose was for less cooking time on medium-low heat, and bcz need be ready for supper meal, served by 6pm- in no particular order sometimes it would be pintos couple times a week, navy beans, blackeye peas, my favorite white butter beans, and great northern beans… on the weekends like Saturday it was pork n beans (Van Camp 😂) and Sunday at Dinner and Supper it was always fresh green string beans… FRESH Legumes beans ain’t never hurt nobody, but to many out of CAN might, frozen one said to be okay but I’ll pass, prefer freshly prepared and control of initial seasoning. 😃

There is ZERO requirement in the human diet for fibre. Soluble fibre breaks down into short chain fatty acids - mainly butyric acid. Butyric acid converts into butyrate - a ketone body that your body can get directly from eating animal fat.

With regards to carnivore there is unfortunately no long term studies showing that if works. I think as a short term intervention it can have many benefits especially if your pre-existing diet incorporated mainly ultra processed foods. With regards to vegan diets not working again the problem is generally twofold. You can eat a terrible diet of processed food and call yourself a vegan or you jump all in on whole food plant based when your microbiome is not in a position to deal with the fibre as the interviee mentioned. I just follow a traditional Mediterranean diet as it is easy to follow incredibly tasty, varied and has for generations shown to be healthy

The biggest issue that is often missed when discussing nutrition is that many can’t consume dairy or whole grains - i.e. the gliadin protein is difficult to digest and sets off antibodies that often get confused and target the thyroid cells which have a similar structure to gliadin (Dr. Wuentz). The options for people with autoimmunity need to be discussed. I love your channel. Thankyou.

I have an autoimmune disease (Behcet's). A century ago, without modern medicine, I would have been dead before I was diagnosed -- if Dr Behcet had defined the disease back then, since it was only identified less than a sentence ago.
Because it's a disease more common in Central Asia, I have to fight like hell every time I change doctors. I have been told, literally, that I couldn't have it because "it's rare, you can't have it."
Like ADD or ASD, these diseases are being diagnosed more often not necessarily because their true prevalence is well in advance of medical education deficits and White Coat Syndrome.
Any syndrome without a specific lab diagnostic (e.g. A1C) is almost guaranteed to be a underdiagnosed. If it depends on interviewing by the doctor, it is vulnerable to bias or ignorance of the medical professional.
How do we exclude this from an increase in autoimmune syndromes?

I agree with the other comment. I've been zero fiber for over 3 years after focusing on all the B.S. in this video. My digestion is flawless without it. Our microbiome only needs to support what we eat. It's our immune system's first line of defense to what travels through our digestion and it also helps to break things down.

But, I really think alcohol plays a big part in gut health, as well as mental health. Alcohol really does stop the absorption of vitamins and minerals, especially B12, magnesium, zinc - really important things people don't think about until they're losing their hair, balance, and with B12, their minds. Eating a carnivore diet is easy on your gut muscle, just like seating on a couch seems easier than doing exercise, so it seems that problems is gone. But as not doing exercise weakens your muscle, not getting enough fiber will decrease microbial diversity over time, which is not good. Also, soaking lentils for several hours (overnight is better) before cooking or sprouting lentils would reduce the problem you are facing and start with lower amount. @gazbo4391 the split yellow peas, split orange peas and split white peas all cook easily, whereas whole legumes and beans like kidney beans and white and black chickpeas have to be soaked in hot water for a few hours, remove that soaking water, add fresh water, add a small pinch of cooking soda and cook it in pressure cooker or open pan for quite some time so they are soft and fully cooked. Eating under cooked legumes and beans like kidney beans and chickpeas can give you severe stomach problems and stomach pains. Once you finish this one bottle you can drink plain water rest of the day. Zymurgy: make your fermented foods like Cortido. Easy to make, and if you use Manzano peppers in place of Jalapeno, the flavor profile is much better.

Maybe try carnivore? This guy seems to know what he's talking about but if you follow what people actually say has worked best for them, you'll find a lot of them follow the carnivore diet. It may be worth a try

I thought fermented foods were high in histamines so they should not be included. Atleast this is what he said in another video.

I don't get why there are so many fiber shills. Humans survived and evolved through ice ages when there was a distinct lack of fiber available. We did not evolve to need fiber. Everything this guy says I _must_ eat I don't eat. And I've never felt better.

    • @jw4792
      @jw4792 11 месяцев назад

I don’t get why the carnivore shills keep going back to our ancestors and what they did, forgoing the fact that their life expectancy was a fraction of what ours is now. And if you don’t think dietary evolution plays a role in that, you’re naive. You might feel better now, but what about 10-20-30 years down the road? Nobody knows what someone’s body is going to look like 20-30 years of a pure carnivore diet.

The average longevity was around 18 years ago, anyone over 30 was old. Yes they survived to die quickly 😅 your comment is pointless

    • @XaqNautilus

@@gigitijarain The point is we don't need fiber. Anyone who tells you different wants to keep selling you their unhealthy cereals. At least fiber is better than the liquid poisons that are seed oils.
