- JustPlanes on the flightdeck of a GOL Boeing 737-700 for 8 flights on the Boeing 737-700 including the shuttle service between Sao Paulo Congonhas Airport and Rio de Janeiro Santos Dumont Airport. This is such a cool flight that we decided to capture it twice during the same day to give you every possible view and angle from the cockpit as well as from the cabin, it is one of those airports and approaches not to be missed!

Getting different views from the cockpit to the wing is so amazing. I enjoyed this video due to seeing everything from each landing. Having the clear sunny skies, you can see so clear and far. Love it.

Easily the most challenging runway in the commercial aviation world apart from perhaps Butan. Note the normal 50 feet over the piano keys is suspended as you need to get down pretty damn quick on one of the shortest runways in the world. So even more impressive that touchdown, in substantial cross wind, was buttery smooth. Great video.
That English tough... I've never heard a Brazilian speak that kind of English like this pilot. Great job! (before anyone say something, I'm Brazilian too).

I think that this is actually the first time that I've seen this particular approach into Santos Dumont. Not quite as epic as some of the others (IMO), but still pretty awesome...and seeing female pilots is always cool. Great vid. :)

Definitely no long landings here! Runway 02R is only 4,340 feet (1323 meters) long. 02L is a little shorter. The Captain was not joking when he stated that your approach must be stabilized prior to executing the left turn around Sugar Loaf.
Have them level that peak then you can fly straight in :) Saw the white building you were talking about.

@@justplanesYou're welcome! A little different than the 737's I used to work on at Pan Am, they were -200's. Stabilizer Trim wheel sounds the same though 😃

Mesmo em vôos domésticos, as comunicações são todas feitas em inglês ?
Não, está em português também dá para ouvir isso no vídeo.
Neste caso foi em inglês pq estava tendo uma gravação para um canal gringo, mas em voos doméstico é mais comum o uso do português mesmo.
Apenas internacional, doméstico pode ser português, como dar para ouvir na fonia.
Fica a critério da tripulação. Se começar em inglês, normalmente continua até o final na língua que foi feito o primeiro contato.

Bom dia para a tripulação do 737 gostei muito de viajar com os comandante Gomes e e outros comandantes quero dizer que fiquei muito triste ao fazer uma pergunta a um comissário de bordo ele não me respondeu só que ele não sabia que eu fiz curso no rio de piloto em 1970 mais nunca trabalhem na área e sim como detetive do qual me orgulho muito tô aposentado e viajo pelo Brasil todo o avião pra mim é o mais invento feito pelo homem não tem telefone nem fibra de ótica não tem invento que supere os aviões fica o meu abraço a todos que voam pelo céus do Brasil

Nicolas Andrade Eu entendi o tom de sarcasmo dela amigo, entendo a comunicação em inglês também
hk15 a tiração de sarro é porque sempre (ou quase sempre) o ATC não quer liberar restrições pra não colocar o deles na reta. Então já meteu um “all restrictions”. Piloto em geral sempre tira sarro disso e quem trabalha em ATC também. Tenho 2 amigos que trabalham na torre CGH e sou piloto pode acreditar que não foi sarcasmo amigo.

Respect to all pilots, customer service, ground support, for the Airline industry, they make the operation work, for some reason, i don't think flight attendants are that important. to me, flight attendants are only waitresses in the sky..
